Love my Magic Mouse! (and hey! it right clicks!)
Love my Magic Mouse! I was hesitant to spend the $75 on a mouse because the most I'd ever spent was $40 on a mouse. But a few fellow Mac users told me they wouldn't go back to any other kind of mouse so when I got a gift card for my birthday to Amazon - I ordered myself a Magic Mouse 2. I love it. Note: At first - I went almost 3 weeks thinking that the Magic Mouse just didn't right click. I thought that was bizarre but maybe something related to Apple? (I used a PC for 20 years before getting a Mac a couple years ago so just assumed it was one of those wonky Mac things I had to get used to) Then I did a facepalm moment and was like "DUH... you could just Google it..." And sure enough - the Magic Mouse has a right click option. You have to go into your system preferences and select Mouse and then you can select the right click option. So, for those of us who MUST have the right click option: mystery solved ;-)

Worth it
I tried a few different Bluetooth mouses (mice?) before finally shelling out the money for the Apple mouse. Now I get why it costs so much more. The others I had would randomly disconnect for no reason and didn't hold a charge nearly as long as this one does. I've used it for the past three weeks (usually for more than 8 hours a day), and the battery is still at 48%. I also love being able to scroll horizontally and even diagonally without having to find a scroll bar on a web page or in a spreadsheet. And scrolling is silent--no more annoying scroll wheel! Also, the others I had started looking dirty after a while--that's not an issue with this sleek and shiny number.

Typical Apple Quality - Excellent!!!
Purchased this mouse in spite of seeing quite a few negative reviews on various web sites. I don't have a single complaint! It is a bit on the small side which allows me to rest the heal of my hand just behind the mouse for good support without having to have a palm pad. It is very responsive for clicks, scrolling up, down or sideways. I keep forgetting to turn it off but after having it for nearly a month, it has not needed recharging. I liked it so much that I purchased another one for my wife and will purchase a few more for Christmas presents for other Mac users in our family.

A great, yet pricey, mouse
I absolutely love my Apple Magic Mouse 2. The mouse easily syncs with your computer via Bluetooth and responds quickly. Unique functionalities such as swiping and zooming with a touch-sensitive top are useful. The bottom rubber supports gather dust and other table top substances easily when using it, so you may need to be mindful of the surfaces you're using it on, however I have never had a response issue. Turning your mouse on or off is as simple as using a switch on its base. The only thing that is a bit of a nuisance is the fact that you have to plug in your charger into the base of the mouse, thus you can't charge it while using it such as in briefly converting it into a wired mouse like similar products will let you do. I have been using this mouse on a daily basis for two months now and I have only just had to charge it. A tad pricey but a high quality product nonetheless.

EXCELLENT QUALITY! LOVE THE LONG-LASTING RECHARGABLE BATTERY!
I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro. My mouse was just as old. It had fallen on the floor too many times and had to be taped together in its last days. I am in Love with this new one! I expect to buy another one soon for my mid-2011 iMac! The rechargeable battery is one of the best things about it. The other is that a battery symbol appears on the top of my laptop that tells me exactly what percentage of the battery is still charged! It doesn't take long to charge at all! It is still 98% charged after lots of use by myself and my husband. It was just charged 6 days ago and has only gone down 2% The negative reviews complain that the lightning cord goes on the bottom so you can't use it while it is charging. That's really not a problem since it charges so quickly and you don't have to charge it until it's nearly empty. I haven't even come close reaching that point. When I eventually do, I will figure it's just time to charge. I'm sure it will be a LOT LESS often than I had to change the AA batteries in my old one. My electrical engineer husband says the circuit card is on the bottom and that is why the cord is there. It is so easy now to see how full the battery is by taking a look on top of your screen. Look next to the date and time at the very top!

Built-in rechargeable battery makes all the difference.
The only real difference between this and the original Magic Mouse is that this one has a self-contained rechargeable battery; you used a standard Apple Lightning cable to recharge it. Personally, I find this superior for three reasons. First, the battery cover on the original version tends to be somewhat loose and can rattle; it's a minor quibble but one that bugged me. Second, the built-in battery seems to last longer than the Apple rechargeable AA batteries, which needed frequent recharging in my experience. Finally, the fact that you can charge this with a Lightning cable means you're less apt to get caught in a bind: if you need to recharge it's because you're using your computer and thus have it with you, so all you need is Lightning cable and you can recharge. I find that easier than remembering to pack spare batteries in my messenger bag. Note: you CAN'T use the mouse while it recharges, as the cable input is on the bottom.

High Demand Slick Magic Mouse
I had two white Apple mice. One of them had battery acid from not using it for the last few years. So I decided to buy another one. I must have two - 1 for my office and the other for bedroom when I work. Anyway, my mice are over a few years old and since I was replacing the trashed one I decided to purchase this mouse. Not sure why it’s more expensive then the white one. I do know that the demand for this particular color is very popular. I search my entire area for the mouse, or any apple mouse in general. I quickly learned that the Mac came out with new computers and everyone was buying them. Luckily Amazon had them in stock. So between my older white mouse and this newer one, I can tell a difference. My white mouse takes time to connect. The Space Grey connects immediately to my laptop. Plus it’s a very slick color too. And I love how this Magic Mouse has a rechargeable battery unlike my other white mouse. All in all, I definitely recommend!

Nice mouse
Aside from the UX error of making the charge port underneath it's a nice mouse. You also get a black apple usb charger which impresses all of the ladies and men.

Love, Love, Love, Charging ability
So happy to get away from batteries. This is my favorite mouse ever, all the functions are great and you can decide which direction you want it to move and how soft or hard, fast or slow you want it to be set at. My two favorite things though are the color, Black, and no batteries.

Has to be the best mouse for MacBooks...
Like quite a few others have noted (which is a common theme with Apple products), I to, believe it’s overpriced, but we made the purchase regardless. I am coming from using a Logitech mouse and it’s a nigh and day difference with the Magic Mouse 2. Pairs right away after turning on the Bluetooth. Set your scrolling and click preferences and it’s good to go. Works amazing and looks great! Forgot about the money I feel I overpaid already. Great mouse. Hope it lasts.
