Just What I Was Looking For
I finally grew tired of the inaccuracies of cheap analog/pencil pressure gauges and the hassle of batteries for digital gauges so I decided to order two of the JACO Elite Pro gauges (0-60 PSI and 0-100 PSI). One for my wife's car and one for my truck/trailers. I had two fairly accurate digital gauges that read within 2 PSI of each other. One failed a couple of days before I ordered the JACO gauges because of battery corrosion. The other digital gauge, with non replaceable batteries, was also dead. The JACO gauges arrived in about six days (free shipping.) Gauges are well built and very legible. The chuck fits the tire valves well and I did not experience any of air loss common with cheap gauges. These gauges actually swivel at both ends of the rubber hose. No problems using them regardless of the tire valve position. The 100% lifetime warranty is a bonus. As soon as I received the gauges, I decided to see how accurate the readings were. I keep my wife's van tires inflated to 36 PSI using one of my digital gauges that failed,.) I checked the pressure in one of the tires and both of the JACO gauges read 35 PSI...exactly. See attached photo. No more inaccuracies or variations between gauges. I collected all the assorted tire pressure gauges I found in the vehicles/garage and trashed them.

... Gauge (returned recently from a trip) and it was terrific. Immediately liked the looks
Only now had an opportunity to try out your Jayco 0-100 psi ElitePro Tire Pressure Gauge (returned recently from a trip) and it was terrific. Immediately liked the looks, heft and feel of the purely mechanical (no batteries required!) gauge. Used it on two vehicles with totally satisfactory results. Normally, I would have to fuss around with my digital gauge in order to get a good seal on the tire stem (and lose some air pressure in the process), pump up the tire, take a reading, bleed off the excess pressure, take another reading and repeat as necessary. With your Jayco, it's take a reading, pump up tire, bleed down to desired pressure, and the task is done. The accuracy seems to be on a par with my digital gauge but I do not have a pressure standard to measure it against. In order of feature preference, my ranking would be: (1) the bleed down/reset valve, (2) the chuck's ability to easily make a good seal to the stem (important!), (3) the swivel ability for better unit positioning, and (4) the large 2" dial. The rubberized gauge protector was a nice touch also. I would buy this unit again.

Glad to replace the old Brookstone tire gauge with new.
I been using the Brookstone tire gauge -100 psi for years. I recently bought the JACO tire gauge -100 psi and the AutoTec tire gauge -60 psi. When I checked the tire pressure on my truck with old Brookstone gauge, it read 80 psi and when I checked with JACO gauge, it read 83 psi. When I checked the tire pressure on my Honda CRV, the old Brookstone gauge read 34 psi, and when I checked with the Auto Tec gauge, it read 36 psi. I like the new JACO gauge because it well built and easy to read the gage pressure. The gage on JACO is bigger than the Brookstone gage. The AutoTec gage is also bigger than the Brookstone. I am very happy with both the new tire gauges.

Really nice tire gauge. FANTASTIC seller service!!
I am a long-time car freak.... worked my way through college as a mechanic/detailer/etc. Never lost my interest in cars and I have always checked the pressure in my tires personally. Tire pressure is actually a very important safety issue.... too many people treat it as an unimportant chore. So my old Draeger gauge finally failed... they aren't available anymore and I looked around for a replacement. This model was well reviewed on Amazon and had favorable comments elsewhere. Not the cheapest, but high-quality tools are never cheap. It arrived very quickly and was well wrapped. A couple of days later I got a nice follow-up email from the seller, so I went out to the garage and actually unpacked the gauge and used it. It's a good size and easy to hold and read as a result. The hose is a good length. But the big question with tire gauges is: how easy is it to seat on the valve of the tire? This one has a swivel at the gauge and another about two inches from the head.... easy to maneuver and easy to get a good seal on the valve and therefore a good reading. BUT mine didn't hold a reading. So I answered the seller's email with a question about whether this was within tolerances. The seller responded immediately and quickly got me a replacement, which works fine. So a good product is one thing, but a great seller is fairly rare. YOU GET BOTH! Highly recommended!!

Totally awesome and easy to use!!!
This tire gauge is so cool! Heavy duty and good for just about any tire you can imagine. We were looking for a tire gauge that would work, not only for our cars, but also my hubby's new trikke (look that up - it is the most bizarre thing ever). Car tires have pressure around 34 psi while the trikke's tires are more like 80 psi. Many of the gauges out there don't go this high. So, is it easy to use? You bet. It is even easier to use than the stick gauges because the cable provides more flexibility. Not only does the reading stay until you hit the release button, but you can also use it to release some air if the pressure is too high. The gauge stays attached which lets you know when to stop! As to JACO Superior's service - this was an awesome transaction! Lightning fast shipping, great packaging, MINT item!!! A+ all around - I highly recommend them!

Wow, so so much better than a pen pressure gauge
My Nissan Leaf's automatic tire system was yelling that the tire pressure was off, so I put more air in. Sadly, none of my local garages provide any way to gauge the tire pressure, and I bought the $3 pen gauge they sold. Big mistake. I tried my best to read the pressure in each tire and modify what I did with the pump, but still my car was yelling at me. The JACO pressure gauge revealed that two of the tires were dangerously OVERfilled (I'd assumed that the warnings meant the tires were underfilled), and the other two were moderately over. The release gauge on the JACO gauge allowed me to deflate each tire to a safe and appropriate level. My car stopped yelling at me. I am a happy camper.

If you need a 100 PSI tire pressure gauge, this one works
I have a light duty truck with tires that have inflation pressures of 70 PSI; this gauge meets my need to have a good way to monitor and adjust the tire pressure. The bleed-off valve makes adjusting the pressure down easy. The flexible hose makes it easy to get the end onto the valve stem and still have the gauge in a readable position. The construction appears solid and I expect this gauge to last a long time riding in the door pocket where it is handy. The gauge and the truck's TPMS are within 1 to 2 PSI of each other (I have no way to determine which if either is more accurate).

Exceeded My Expectations
I bought this gauge after studying reviews. I wanted something better than the pencil style tire pressure gauges I've been using all my life. It is an amazingly solid and extremely well designed instrument. This is far better than I ever expected and the price was very reasonable. JACO really aims to please.

Quality is everything
Got this in the mail today and almost sent it back. The box was opened and the brass had a nasty scratch on it as well as some dirt on the dial face. Thought I'd give it try first though...then send it back. But I'm keeping it. This thing is built like a tank and I'm not going to worry about the scratch. I wiped off the dial face and now it's nice and clear. Wish I'd bought one of these years ago. I checked all 4 tires on my wife's car because her warning light was on. Found one tire that needed air. It was down about 7 lbs. As I moved to a darker part of the garage, the dial face lit up with a bright green luminescence. I didn't even know about that feature. The swivel head and the pressure relief button are fantastic features as well. No more pencil types or digital ones for me. Pencil types are ridiculous and the one digital one I had, I busted a fingernail trying to open it to get to the batterys (the nickel sized ones that aren't cheap) Couldn't get it apart and tossed it in the pail. Spend the extra money and buy a gauge you'll have for the rest of your life.

Works So Great I Bought Three!
Gone are the cheap plastic digital pocket gauges! Who needs one for their pocket anyhow? This one from JACO made it so easy to check my pressures, it's a weekly habit now whenever I hit the gas station. I'm checking friend's tires, my coworker's vehicles, bikes.... My truck never felt better on the road! In the past, it was such a hassle dealing with the cheap digital or old-fashioned stick-gauges. I didn't know any better. If I would have simply found this JACO gauge years ago, I'd probably have saved a lot of gas money! And the JACO team has top notch customer service, too! They emailed me to thank me for the purchase, any questions or concerns, they were ready and willing, but I never needed that because everything is great! The gauge is Quality Craftsmanship. Brass parts, the chuck has a 360-deg rotation with an angled tip, brass bleeder valve is awesome, the hose connection to the gauge rotates freely, a quality rubber hose, and a rubberized boot around the gauge is nice in the hand. I store it in the JACO box. For $23 It's A Steal! I'd pay twice that for this. That's why I bought three, my friends and family have to have one of these! Just Buy It.
