Versatile lamp

I am not using this light as often as I thought I would because it would not fasten onto the headboard (waterbed frame with bookcase) in a manner that allowed me to use it as an overhead light. I wanted to be able to turn off the light in the headboard and use this little lamp while reading regular books. I found it to be too bright when shining from the side or over my head (above the book level). I am back to using my Paperwhite Kindle for bedtime reading. However, I attached this light to the little table beside my bedroom chaise lounge and it works perfectly there! I like the ability to change the type of lightening (color) and the brightness. The neck bends well and so far it has held it's position. It may be too bright on it's highest setting for some people, but I just shine it on my book. I have not taken it on the road yet, but plan to use the next time I go on vacation.

Nice Little Lamp Very Robust

working so far. i haven't had it two months yet. If works longer then that i will be happy. It feels very sturdy and trick to move the lamp around. I mean if you don't have much upper body strength. You may need help moving it around. Nice big clamp. Which there again you need a lot of body strength to open it. It takes me both hands to open it. It will stay were ever you put it. I had it on battery when first got here., It came partly charged. Which was good thing. It last if i remember about 4-6 hours. It has two settings. One that amber color light. The other is a white light. The clamp it self is about two inches. The light them selves is not overly bright. But not so dim you cant see for reading, typing on computer ect. It is dim enough not to disturb some one close or across the room.

Very Pleased!

It didn't take me long to write this review. I was completely satisfied right at the start. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the light. Sturdy build, not too light but not overly heavy but I was looking for something of substance in a led light and I got it here. The two white colors of daylight and tungsten warm are perfect. The dim and brightness settings work great and there is enough light on high setting to please if that's what you need. The clip on function is robust so it should clip on anything without a problem. If you have ideas of clipping directly to a book though you should look elsewhere for a tiny book light. These lights are designed to clip to other structures or furniture. I chose these lights to illuminate my control panel in a dark recording studio. Perfect!

Darn good lamp.

Pretty darn good lamp. I have not experienced any problems.. It's very well built. The clamp is strong and not cheap, just don't clamp it to anything delicate. The neck is flexible and a little bit stiff--it stays in the position you put it in. It has a high low setting, and changes from the soft white to a soft off white color. There are 2 switches, the top one is to change from white color, turn off, off white color. The bottom switch is to change from high to low. The cord is fixed to the clamp. It plugs into a USB converter that plugs into the wall. It does not have a battery. As far as i know, you can not replace the cord, without some electrical surgery that is.

Nice Lamp!

This lamp is probably one of the best I've used in a while now. It takes up almost no desk space, and can be flexed into all sorts of angles. It's really bright, despite the low power consumption, and can switch between a bright pure white color to a more relaxing warm white. The two modes are pretty closely matched in brightness, and it's pretty easy to switch back and forth. The best part about it is that it's USB-powered, meaning you can just plug it into your computer without taking up another outlet, and the cord is pretty long, too (although it will turn off when your computer does). It also means that if you have a power bank, it can serve as a portable work lamp. If you do want to plug it into an outlet, it comes with a USB wall adapter (bonus phone charger!). The clip is pretty big, and can fit around even really thick desks. It clamps down with a bit of force, but it's lined with a thick pad of foam to prevent damage. The lamp only gets a little warm, even when running for hours at full brightness. Overall, a great lamp that I would definitely recommend!

Almost perfect light for most uses!

I had to buy 3 more after using the first one for months. I needed them more places, this light is great, it gives options of 'warm' or 'cold' light (not actual temps, the light is cool to the touch), plus high or low levels of both. The clip is really strong and resilient and had held up to my unconventional bookshelf usage and constant adjustments. No complaints whatsoever other than maybe a wish the neck was a teeny bit longer, but that is a preference not a complaint.

Perfect Small Sturdy Reading Lamp (with large clamp)

This light is perfect. I needed a reading light that didn't take up much space and most importantly the clamp had to be wide enough to grip my thick wood bed frame. I was relieved when it came and I found the clamp easily fit. The light has I think two settings? The blue is soothing, the white I use most because it puts off good reading light. I should also add the metal neck that bends is sturdy and firm yet flexible. Better quality than I expected.

THIS LED CLAMP LAMP IS GREAT. Clamp is STRONG, light settings for any taste, LEDs do not generate heat, whole appearance is elegant/sophisticated. We are IN LOVE with this product. A #1 SOLUTION. Two of us do not have room for night tables, could not read in bed without turning on ceiling light bulbs and make the other person uncomfortable. Looked at cheap clamp lamps from hardware store: Plastic, weak clamp, would fall off head board. Large bulb would generate heat next to our heads. But this LEPOWER lamp is allowing me to READ my books in bed again and put away the darn phone. Woohoo! : )

Nice little lamp!

I use this to light one of my turntables. It is a great light source for checking the cleanliness of my records prior to playing them. Being able to switch from a white light to a warmer temperature light is nice. The lamps dimmability is good for when I want less ambient light. The clip is strong and the adjustability of the stem are both pluses. I recommend this product.

Excellent!

I bought two of these, and I'm very happy with them. The grip from the clip is solid, even on thick objects. The flexible gooseneck is also very nice, as there are times when I want to aim the light differently without messing with the clip, etc. I've used it almost exclusively on the "warm" light setting, but having the other setting available might come in handy. The dual power switch is definitely a plus in my view. As a reading light clamped to my bed frame, the full power setting is a bit bright. However, when I need just a little light in the room, I can point this thing upward and use the high setting and avoid smashing my toe into things, etc. I've not tried running it from a computer yet, so I can't comment on how it works that way, but using a regular USB connector for power is a nice touch. If the adapter ever goes out, I've got a bunch of older cell phone chargers sitting around that could step in. Recommended, and would buy again!
