UPDATE: Had to remove the fabric slip-cover on each of the seats recently to wash them of vomit and a messy poopy diaper leak and they machine washed nicely with air drying and was easy to remove and put back on so I am still very happy with these seats. My almost 3yo daughter and 1yo son both fit comfortably in these. My babies have sat in more expensive carseats and they both got really hot and sweaty because of the material which to me was further reassurance that these seats were a better suit for us. We have 2 of the teal color and 2 of the purple and the colors are vibrant and attractive. ORIGINAL: Love the color choices and they seem to be well made, good quality. We have bought two so far and will be buying at least one more (not because they wear out we just wanted multiple for different cars). I have read other reviews that said they were disappointed it didn't recline but......my babies have not known the luxury of a reclining seat so I don't think it matters much to them. They do like the cupholders there is two on each seat so there is room for snacks beverages small toys,etc.

She loves it!

This carseat is comfortable. Very easy to install in the car. I used the tether locks. My daughter is 4 years old. 40lbs and 3.5ft tall. She fits great in this seat. She loves the cup holders. For how big she is, she actually looks so small. I wasn't ready for her just to be in a booster. This seat has a great crotch buckle bc it can be adjusted. The other one I got couldn't do that. This way I can keep her in the harness for longer. She really loves the seat. Great for the price too!

Great Car Seat & Great Price.

Not sure why people are having issues with the cup holders falling off, it clearly tells you to screw them in and also gives you the screws to do it. Car seat seems well made. I got the girlie heart one and it’s pretty. My granddaughter is tiny so should last her a good while. Probably till she’s 15 by the size of her and the car seat. Lol. I like that it’s a car seat & booster seat all in one. So I won’t have to buy another one down the road. Hopefully.

Safe

I love all of the safety strapping options and the sturdiness of this seat. Great for the price. Update: I also would like to add that my son and I were in a car accident in which my car was totalled. It was a miracle we walked away unharmed. I was so glad that he was sitting safely in this seat. I hope that no one has to test the limits of this seat the way that we have, but know that the harness and padding near the head kept my baby safe.

Great high backed booster with harness for the price!!

For the price, this seat is great!! It came in 2 days with my prime membership, and I really needed Jr fast. Got one in blue and one in pink. I have a 3 yr old girl and 4 yr old boy. We are leaving on our first family vacation in a week and thought the seat they were in before was "too babyish" for them. I love the dual cup holders. The main reason I got this seat in particular though is because they aren't a lot of high backed booster seats with harnesses under $100. My children are small for their age, and although they seem to big for a baby seat, I def feel they still need the 5 point harness to keep them safe. They are 27 and 29 lbs. and are around 36-38inches tall. They are both on the border. This seat is great bc the harness works for 22-40lbs, and after they reach 40lbs, it converts and you can remove the harness and use it as a regular booster with the seatbelt until 110lbs. So this seat was absolutely perfect for them now....and will work for a long time to come. Seems more comfy than their old seat too. They've only been in the seat twice so far, but I'm very happy with it!!

Evenflo makes Great Affordable Car Seats

I love this car seat. I actually bought a 2nd for our 2nd car. When my son was first born, I did so much research on what car seats to buy. His baby carrier and convertible car seats were expensive. Then I needed another convertible car seat for the grandparents car, so I bought a convertible Evenflo car seat. We loved it and ended up trading car seats with the grandparents and giving them the expensive convertible seat. The Evenflo was much less bulky, easy to adjust, easy to put in and take out of the car, and easy to work seat belt. The more expensive convertible seat was very bulky and always had tangled seat belts. So when it was time to order a larger car seat, I started looking at Evenflo again. I love this seat. It is easy to put in and take out. The fabric cleans up well. It fits well in smaller cars. My son is tall for his age, but I will keep him in this car seat for as long as I can because I know he will be safe, and I like having him in a 5-point harness instead of just a car seat belt. I know the saying "you get what you pay for." This car seat is not the least expensive option out there, but it is far less than the $400 options. basically, manufacturers have to follow guidelines to make sure their products meet the safety regulations. Most car seats give similar levels of protection. I do not really think that the $400 car seat gives more protection than this one. It just has more name-recognition and maybe more expensive fabric. Neither of which really matter for the ultimate goal of safety.

Daughter fell asleep right after an accident

While I was hoping I'd never have to write a review after a car accident here I am. 2 weeks ago a man darted across all 3 lanes and hit the side of my car. The car seat and my daughter were not effected in the least. She was half asleep and because it barely moved her she went to sleep right after. I'm eternally grateful for this sear and it's definitely worth the buy!

Easy for beginners

I am a first time Aunt who takes care of my niece enough that it was time to get my own car seat. Having no children of my own I know I will never use this again I wanted to make sure that I got one that would last till she didn't really need one anymore and I am very pleased with this car seat. It was very easy to install (I have never installed a car seat in my life so I had no clue what to do) it is very durable material and not to many nooks where snacks will get lost forever. The cup holders are awesome becuase it seems we always have snacks and drinks for her in the car anyway so now she has a place to put them I will say if you have a larger bottom (tommy tippy) sippy cup or drink the cup holders aren't very large but a normal size sippy cup fits very easily. Lastly the quick release tab at the front makes getting her out and cinched in much easier. I am very happy with the purchase!

Great seat.

Love this seat!! My almost 2 year old, 3.5 year old, and almost 6 year old all fit in it perfectly. Easy to put in. Very padded. Looks really nice too! Will be buying more to replace old bulky seats, and able to put them three across!
