Works as advertised
Good piece of kit for a really reasonable price. I've rented similar products in the past, and this one is better than those. Comes in a nice case, which makes for easy storage. The ends of the screw are recessed to fit a 1/2" driver like a ratchet or impact wrench, which makes it really easy to compress the springs quickly. The silver clips hold the clamps in place pretty well. Overall, this is well made and works great.

Got the job done
Used them to install new springs on my 04 tacoma. (OME 881 springs) The keeper pins wouldn’t fit over the stock coils or the new ones but they still got the job done. Also, I did put anti seize on the threads just to make it a bit easier on them. I got this set because it came with a case which I’m happy with. I compressed a spring probably 6 times and still worked as well as the first time even though you could see some flex in the threaded rods when it was compressing. I would recommend these even if the pins don’t fit around the coil.

Excellent value and quality product
Excellent value and quality product. Same price as the others, but comes with a pretty sturdy storage case. I also loved the fact it has an opening at the end for a 3/4" ratchet, as alot of the time its too close to the spring to get a box wrench over the end. This way if its tight I can throw on a 6" extension and have plenty of clearance to ratchet away instead of having to turn and then reposition each rotation. As others mentioned the bottom hook is a little shallow and you may have issues getting the safety bar over a thicker spring. That being said it caused me zero issues and as long as you use common sense this shouldnt be an issue at all.

Does the job.
Pulled the springs on my 63 Fairlane so I could cut them to drop front end. It took me some time to get them in the right location but once on, they held on. I cut down the two bolts in order to put the clamps up higher, if you work on cars, you know it hardly goes according to plan. Take your time and they'll get the job done.

Didn't move at all! Wonderful
Just did my struts on my 05 Optima. The clamps hold on tight and securely for the hole job. Let's be honest I had no idea what I was doing and I had to loosen and tighten them more then 5 times. They held on with out any issues. Wonderful ! They are slanted to hold the spring perfectly. Would recommend for cars unsure about big trucks however I'm sure they will do just fine.

Work great
Lots safer than the cheap hook ones. Work well and very secure. The safety pins are just in the way. The acme screw threads are not real hard, but what do you want for $25. Good for occasional use.

Super solid
I bought these to change struts and springs on a truck, they work really well. Other cheap versions I have rented end up having deformed threads from the pressure, but these seem to hold up well.

Works Fine
Used an impact gun to compress Old Man Emu 2887 springs to put on Bilstein 5100’s. Worked fine. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about when they say this doesn’t work.

DIY is still cheaper.
You can get one at an auto store, for twice the price. Or you can rent it, if they have one available. I had a bad strut, I had one weekend, AutoZone failed me on both accounts.

Works Great
I've used these a few times now and they work fantastic. So far I've used these to compress springs on cars as small as a 2012 Mini Cooper up to a 2004 Dodge Dakota. No complaints and still holding up almost a year later.
