We have been changing out the lights that we use most frequently with LED bulbs after one of my husbands co-workers mentioned that he went to LED bulbs in his home and noticed that his electric bill was over $100.00 less the first month. Granted, the co-worker has 4 kids living at home, so I don't expect to realize that type of savings, yet when you realize that you can run all 6 of these bulbs and use only 36 watts, that is a very compelling reason to change out your most frequently used lights. It is too soon to determine how much changing to LED bulbs will save us on a monthly basis. We had purchased some LED lights in the past and they were much longer than a traditional bulb, so they didn't work with some of our light fixtures. These fit very closely to those of a standard bulb. They provide plenty of light and come on immediately (CLF lights take a few moments to turn on completely). I am always looking for rebates and ways to save some $$. I checked our electric company's website (KCP&L) and saw that they provide a FREE energy audit which includes 12 free LED bulbs!!! If you are thinking about going to LED bulbs, check your electric company's website first. If they don't offer any rebates or discounts, I would highly recommend these bulbs.

I have a light fixture over my kitchen table which takes 5 lights bulbs. I was using 60 Watts--9 watts CFL bulbs which comes out to 45 Watts for the light fixture. They were always slow in brightening up, so decided to try these Bioluz LED bulbs. They are 40 watts--6 watts. Which comes out to be 30 watts for the 5 bulbs in the light fixture. Big difference in CFL bulbs and LED bulbs. These 40 watts bulbs give off a lot more light then the 60 Watt CFL light did as you can see in the picture. I think replacing these lights with 60 Watt LEDS's would have been too bright. But the 40 Watts work perfectly to provide enough light. Will also be saving a little bit more in electricity. I am replacing all the CFL's with LED's. My CFL's will go to a place where they can safely dispose of them because they have mercury in them.

- I'm totally pleased with these so far. They're rated as "60-watt-incandescent replacements" but I personally think they are actually a bit brighter, which is super because one location is in a ceiling fixture with a frosted cover, and the other is a 2-bulb lamp that's the primary lighting in its room. - One thing I like a lot about these specific bulbs is that the size of the base is pretty minimal, so it does not block any light. The light is not as yellow as is that of incandescent bulbs, BUT it is still a warm tone. So I think it enhances the visibility of things, making them good reading *and* working lights, which is becoming more important to me as I get older. - I received my order quickly, which is always appreciated ;) - I also think these were well-packaged, protecting the bulbs using a minimum of packaging AND it is all recyclable except for one small "window". Alternately, it's all re-usable ;) - Lastly, the bulbs are well-made: there are no sharp edges or glue-blobs or any of that, and all the parts fit smoothly and precisely. They also are light in weight, no "clunkiness" at all, more like a "normal" bulb and therefore, easy to install. They also have a nice appearance, and could be used in a clear or semi-clear fixture. - I'll of course have to see how they hold up, especially the ones in the hallway light that is used very often. - My experience to date with LEDs in general is that they do last long.

I just ordered my second box of these bulbs. The color is exactly what I’m looking for in a light bulb – I like the look of the “old school” incandescent bulbs. These match perfectly. I’m replacing all the bulbs in my house as the old ones burn out. These are fantastic – they are truly “instant on” with a nice slight yellow color cast, they don’t get hot, they are energy efficient, they are reasonably priced. When installed in a fixture, they look exactly like the old school incandescent bulbs.

I got this 6-pack to replace the lights in my five-light dining room table chandelier. I didn't realize the globes would be plastic, not glass, but I actually like that about these bulbs. I think they are brighter than the 40-watt clear (filament exposed) incandescents that were in their before. I was reluctant to use that light very often because of the heat and the cost, but now I can keep the lights on, which lights up the adjacent living room quite nicely.

They're lighter then the industrial/commercial Cree bulbs that started failing after about 10 years. I could've prob warrantied those but they were 75w equivalent and allthough no issues, they got hot as hellllll! These are much cooler. Monitor those light temps. The lense of the bulbs that emits light won't get hot but the thread on metal part acts as a heat sync. These run much cooler, they're half the size but a similar brightness. Ok quality light. I'm a led snob too so that's saying something :) only been using them a few months though. Light bulbs take Tend to take awhile to fail even poor quality

After a failed quest to find soft white light bulbs that have more of a yellow tint like incandescent, I finally settled for these. These were the third set of bulbs that I bought for my bathroom fixtures. The first two were nearly blinding and would work very well in an interrogation room. I finally figured out how much brighter LED bulbs are than incandescent and replaced 6 LED 60 watts (different brands than Bioluz) with these in 40 watt instead. It definitely calmed things down. These are a good choice for bath light fixtures, as they are bright, but not so intense that you feel a migraine coming on after three minutes in the room with them. They are the closest to true soft white that I have been able to find in LED.

You get what you pay for!! These are excellent bulbs. Perform just as advertised. Never get hot to the touch. Light is pleasing and soft...not over glaring. Although I wish the price was lower, I know I will get my return on investment through reduced electric usage and far longer life. I've purchased other brands of LED bulbs that flickered and ran hot from the moment I installed. These are NOT like the cheap imitations!! I am very pleased....and plan on taking these along when I move. They are a most worthwhile long term investment that are also good for the environment!!

We have a six-bulb chandelier in one room of our house that is on most of the day. The way the house is configured, it hardly gets any sunlight, but there's a lot of traffic and use, so there needs to be light. I can't tell you how tired I've gotten of changing bulbs out 40-watt bulbs. Literally, every other week I was changing at LEAST one bulb! Even using the "long life" bulbs, they just kept burning out. And so - I decided to try these Bioluz LED 40 Watt LED Light Bulbs. Prices on LED's have dropped over the years, and these bulbs are quite reasonable now. The result? Almost three months now and I've not changed any bulbs. The light is a tad "whiter" than what we enjoyed before, but we've gotten used to it. And considering they're burning only 6 watts each, I'm now using only 36 watts per hour instead of 240 watts per hour. For an estimated 10 hours of use per day, that's 360 watts vs. 2400 watts. All around, this was a wise purchase -- one that I should have done a long time ago. Highly recommended.
