This guitar needs new steel strings so it holds it's tune better. I contacted customer service with an issue and they took care of it promptly and courteously.

Bought it for my nephew. He absolutely loves it. He can't put it down.

Great starter guitar everything you need. Minimal investment for someone that might not continue learning

i am really glad that I purchased this item

I feel guilty...$40 seems a steal. Too bad it doesn't qualify for Amazon free shipping, not even with Prime. Arrived a day or so sooner than tracking seemed to indicate, seems in good shape. I unpacked everything. Had to shake some sawdust and stuff out of the sound hole. No worrys. Haven't used a pitch pipe in generations so I broke the E string 1st attempt to tune it , my bad. Thanx for the extra set of strings! The HUGE orange pick included is comical, but maybe good for beginners. I dug out one of my old medium picks. The electric aspect of it works, but like other cheap electronics I have seen on cheap guitars (full elec. and acoustic elec.) this has an annoyingly long delay between playing the string and hearing it on the speaker. I mean its like a full 1/8 note. There is a technical word for that, but I like "annoying" better! Anybody know an easy fix for all those cheap guitars' outputs? Is there one too many resistors in there, a wrongly designed twidget? This has 3 slide controls for bass-mid-highs, whereas full electric (cheap) guitars like Sawtooth have rotary tone controls (The Sawtooth came with a 10 watt speaker amp box. It showed the delay same as my stereo receiver amp, so it ain't the amp) and both styles have the delay.Lost a star for that, but as a cheap acoustic practice guitar it still is a steal. At this price I know where El Kabong gets his axes. X> Perfectly good for practice, head bashing, or just looking good in the corner. I notice NO playability issues, but I'm not Mason Williams either. No strings buzz, yet not hard to press the strings.I just have lots of fun. 5/6 and 5/7/2015 : I have a happy pain in my fingers. This means I have not just tossed it in the corner to mope alone. My older fingers just need new callouses and soaking in Liquid Wrench (my fave fragrance).

Great product for the price, strings included are cheaply made, definitely recommend purchasing better made strings and a warning to be careful in tuning these cheap ones as they tend to break in the middle and almost took out one of my eyes twice on the same chord. Electric portion of guitar is made possible by battery within guitar which I didn't really care for but for the price, it is a great starter electric/acoustic!

This guitar is great, and I would have given it 4 stars, but there wasn't anything that bad, it just has some things that it needs fixing on. Lets start with the positive. Pros 1. This guitar is very light and is full size. 2. The accessories were a nice touch, which included the extra set of strings, a pick, a pitch pipe to tune, and a bag (not a hard case. 3. This was a very nice guitar, very sleek and slim, and looks much better than the picture. Cons 1. The pitch pipe I got was off tune--the 1E and the 6E had a different sound, even though they were supposed to be the same note, just on a different pitch. That didn't really bother me, since I have a piano I can use to tune the guitar. 2. It's either just me or it's the guitar, but the 6th string buzzes a little after you play it. 3. My guitar was bought new, but when I opened the package I saw that around the first fret on the 1st string, there was something that looked like a fingerprint or two, and it also looked like someone had gotten some powder and sprinkled it on the first fret on the 1st string. 4. I saw that the 1st string was crooked near the end of the string, but when I tuned it I saw that it turned straight. So I was fine with that. Overall I think that this is a nice guitar, given that two of my reasons listed actually turned out to be okay. I would recommend this guitar for people who want a nice and cheap guitar.

great little guitar for my collection had to do some small modifications would recommend this guitar for anyone looking for a good product at a low price be careful when tuning the first string broke the new one good thing it comes with a set will upgrade to better stings later but these sound good so far great gift for beginning guitar player
