Easy to connect, keeps beer cold, and customers love it
We decided that we should have draft beer, and picked this to see how things would go. So many folks order draft beer now, we may have to get a larger one. This is easy to set up, easy to cool, way easier than folks lead me to believe in reviews. My bartenders had to remove and replace both the keg and gas cylinder while busy, and they tell me it is easy.

Great little kegerator
So far so good. I would suggest watching the EdgeStar video on YouTube. My biggest problem with the original hookup is that they have 2 different styles of hardware for this when installing the tower. Since both are included it is a little confusing, use the short machine screws not the long ones as shown in the video. This kegerator will fit 2 sixtels and it is a close fit if you get it right. It is a tight fit but works as described (see video). I have had no problems with temp, I only drink craft beers so I don't want it at 34 like you would have to drink Budweiser or Miller. One problem I have ran in to which has nothing to do with the manufacturer is when I order beer that even though I specify a 1/6 keg some micro breweries are using PubKegs which is a plastic disposable keg. You can not fit 2 of these in this Kegerator but 1 will fit fine. Make sure you tell your distributor that your kegerator will only take standard sixtels if you wan't to use 2 kegs.

Excellent Buy!
This was a great buy, and meets everything that we wanted in having a home 'kegger'. I did trim some of the CO2 hoses to make it less clutter inside the unit. You will definitely need to replace the hose clamps with the stainless still type clamps. I promptly through the plastic ones supplied away.

A few growing pains but I'm glad I got it
So i've had this bad boy for a few months now and here are my pro's and cons. Pros: Cold beer on tap = happy me Wasn't that difficult to set up Got me to start brewing my own beer again. Cons: The regulator they shipped me had a hairline crack in it which burned through $40 of CO2 and ruined 2 corny kegs ($200+) worth of beer. My gut told me it was the regulator - but instead I followed the advice of the air gas guy and replaced all my hosing. Smelt heavily of tobacco when I first got it - kind of like this thing was stored in a cigarette bar and uses as an ashtray in its previous live. I found out after buying the EdgeStar, that a "sixtel" (a 1/6th) keg of beer costs a lot of freaking money. It is actually cheaper for me to just buy an equivalent amount of six packs from my local beverage depot than it is to buy a sixtel. A sixtel (which has about 52 12oz beers) in it costs me around $90-110. Comparatively a half barrel (full keg) contains 165 12oz beers at about 100-135. So if you're doing this for a cost savings - consider opting for the single line. Hell even running two single line edge stars are more cost effective than 1 dual tap. I've spoken to the manager of my beer spot about this and he's putting together a list for me of beers that come in sixtels that don't break the bank. This is something to seriously consider when consider dual tapping vs single tap. Now i've posted a lot of negatives, but why did I still give it 5 stars? Because edgestar made a great product and it works exactly how I expected it to. Over all its pretty quiet (quiet enough to sit in my living room) and because of my cost analysis I've gotten back into kegging my own beer. Now I brew one keg myself which costs about 30 bucks (after I got all the equipment) and I have one line of commercial beer flowing at any given time. So I'm a happy camper. One other thing is when researching this product I found that some people said the beer wasn't coming out cold enough and I found this to be true too - I contacted customer service and they gave me a guide (with a big old warning saying it will void my warranty) on how to drop the temp of my kegerator. Worth it.

I have had this product for two years with no problem. Keeps beer cold, super great add to my man cave/shop.

great
This works great. only problem is trying to find 1/6 kegs domestic brands .miller lite comes in 1/4 slims not 1/6 kegs. which does fit but then you can not fit two kegs in fridge. so maybe a design update to interior to fit the kegs available in most markets in us.

I had some reservations about what I read about the temperature controls of this kegerator but I liked the reviews on Amazon
Well I am also a newbie to the whole kegerator and really only did air pressurized kegs once or twice. I research the heck out of any major purchase and this wasn't any different. I had some reservations about what I read about the temperature controls of this kegerator but I liked the reviews on Amazon, Edgestar, and related forums, so I pulled the trigger. The package tracking wasn't what I was used to with Amazon Prime and I didn't realize it but free 2-day shipping wasn't an option. I believe I ordered this on a Saturday and it arrived on a Wednesday evening. Overall I am really pleased. In my research I found that alot of people had issues with foaming, I also knew that the main product I would I would be using would be 1/6 kegs with retail hard cider products. I found a lot of info on self brewing cider but not a lot on retail ciders (particularly recommended regulated CO2 pressure and temperatures for product itself. I asked my retailer about pressure and he didn't really know. So anyway here is what all I purchased and how it turned out. I got this Kegerator, Kegerator Tower Cooler, Beer line Neoprene Coupling Washers, Kegerator Cleaning Kit, and Taylor 5924 Food Service Classic Series Freezer-Refrigerator Thermometer (which hasn't arrived yet). The cooling tower on this kegerator is lightly insulated with thin styrofoam (which seems adequate) similar to what you would see in packaging. As I stated before I also purchased a tower cooler right off the bat. Assembly was failrly simple with use of videos on youtube. I experienced no leaks in CO2 lines that I know of at this point. I se the temp on roughly 2 on the control and my retailer chilled the the Angry Orchard 1/6th keg prior to me picking it up. I put the keg in the kegerator after getting it home and let it sit untapped for about 3 hours. I then tapped it and set the regulator at about 13.5psi. One note I would like to have seen a high pressure gauge on the regulator to show the pressure on the bottle to allow you to know how full your CO2 bottle is. I tried to remove the plug for the high pressure side and seems like it is "locktite"d or something so rather than mess up the regulator I just tightened it back up and let it be. First pour was perfect as were the rest. Haven't tried any other beer. I would recommend this product to anyone considering an inexpensive kegerator.

Awesome!
Awesome product. Shipping was fast and free. Setup was very easy, took less than a half hour. All you need to do is get the CO2 tank filled and beer and you are good to go. I've found it keeps the beer ice cold and it's not at its highest setting. I have found it to be loud like other reviewers. It's no louder than a normal mini fridge. I would highly recommend this product.

I love it!
The kegerator arrived with no damage and was packed in a box within another box and well protected. Setup was very simple and it works as well as I could have imagined. I have two 1/6 kegs on tap and the beer is ice cold and flowing freely. I absolutely love it!

Best drunken investment you can make!
Totally a drunk purchase but it works amazingly! You just need to follow some short easy installation instructions, fill the included CO2 tank and find a beer distributor that sells 5 gal sixtels so you can have two different types of beers in it.
