My son's doctor suggested some sort of blue-blocking glasses for his sleep issues so I decided to get a pair as well. I've slept poorly pretty much my entire life - difficulty falling asleep, waking several times during the night, feeling tired during the day. I'm very active physically (professional ballet dancer during my youth, still hitting the gym nearly every day) but I work at a computer during the day and watch TV/go on Facebook at night. I've tried taking melatonin pills but I get really intense, non-restful dreams. I received these after getting home from work on Wednesday and put them on; I fell asleep very quickly that night and slept through the entire night (~ six hours until the alarm went off plus another hour until the second alarm); I felt so good! I wore them Thursday the entire day at work and also at night and slept even better; ditto on Friday. I fully recognize that there may be a placebo/suggestion effect going on, but the end result is I am feeling better and more awake than I can remember feeling ever before. I highly recommend these.

I was skeptical of these - they struck me as a gimmick, but lately my eyes had been really bothering me. I telecommute and am on the computer 3-7 hours a day, and in the past few weeks, I was getting disoriented vision and lots of headaches. I have a history of really intense migraines with neurological symptoms, and too much screen time plus not enough water can be a trigger for me, so I wanted something to make the necessary evil of being online all day easier to bear. These really do work, I can see them reflecting blue light back out, and looking at a screen is noticeably less harsh. I've only had one headache in a week since using these, as opposed to having one every day before, and my eyes feel so much healthier and more focused. I'm seriously blown away by how much of a help these have been. Not only that, but they look pretty cute too. I'm a freelance writer, and if I'm going to be hammering away on the keys all day and staring at a screen with bags under my eyes, I might as well have a good lookin' pair of specs. I feel delightfully dorky in these!

After reading several articles on how the "blue light" from electronics can disturb melatonin production and sleep habits, I decided to purchase a pair of blue light filtering glasses. I received these Wednesday and immediately started wearing them. Due to my pregnancy, I'm often very fatigued and spend hours gaming, watching TV and playing on my phone. I'm essentially always exposed to some sort of "blue light" and was curious on how it was affecting my sleep. I've been waking up 2-3 times a night and thought that was normal for being pregnant, but after wearing these glasses religiously all weekend, I can honestly say I've been sleeping much better. I wake up only once a night and when my alarm goes off in the morning, I don't feel nearly as exhausted as I have been. I notice that when I don't wear the glasses, my eyes feel strained and tired after staring at a computer/TV/phone screen. I've been telling all my friends and family about the immediate change in my sleep. This is truly one of the best investments I've ever made.

Expert research have supported the effect of High-Energy Blue-Violet wavelength light on our eyes. So what I did instead is prove that this glass filters UV light spectrum from entering our eyes. I shine a UV light on both regular eyeglasses and this product. As you can see the regular glasses on top let the blue light pass through while the Anti UV glass blocks the light but transparent on other color. It worked well as expected!

I like these glasses much better than the Uvex Skyper glasses. Mostly because they fit me better and do not fall down my nose. These glasses are not as yellow, but I have been wearing them about a week and they definitely reduce the eye strain (I work on a computer 8+ hours a day). These do not wrap around so there is no protection from blue light entering from the sides, unlike the Uvex. My first pair arrived a little crooked so I bent them a bit to fit my face better. J+S Customer service reached out to make sure I was happy with my purchase and I told them the glasses arrived a little crooked but I reshaped them. They asked for photos and then sent me a replacement pair the next day. The new pair has no defects. It also comes with a nice hard case and cleaning cloth. It's really easy to get a fingerprint across the lens but it wipes away easily with cloth. Also, they look a bit more fashionable should you decide to wear them in public or at work.

I have been working on computers most of my short life and have been wearing very low magnification readers at the advice of an optometrist relative for many years. It has gotten to the point that I cannot even stare at my work computer screen without those readers, so when I found the anti glare computer glasses I figured I would give them a try. I have worn them for a few hours and I can say the anti glare/blue light lenses on these is a game changer for me. I have never had anti glare glasses, and wow what a difference. Not only does it help with the screen, but the fluorescent lights in my office aren't so intruding to the point that I am worried I may want to wear these all the time. When I take the glasses off I can feel the assault of light on my eyes. As for the frames, they are small as some people have said but I am not a large person so they're fine. They are light weight as well. Hopefully that means I can wear them for hours and not be annoyed by them.

Ive been wearing them to game ever since i got them. Labor day weekend, i stood awake for about 24hours gaming with help from a energy drink and this baby❤️ No headaches, no discomfort. Just overall amazing.

I've been looking for some computer glasses for a while and I'm happy I finally got these! They're not super expensive like some other brands and they seem like they're good quality. I've used them at work and while I'm gaming. For work, I love that they're not obviously a different pair of glasses from my normal prescription pair. I feel like they really did help reduce the eyestrain that I normally get from looking at a computer screen all day. It wasn't life changing or anything like that but it did help with the red eyes that I normally get. I've also used these for gaming and I love them for that as well. They're very light and fit well with my headphones. The one side of the glasses will occasionally start bothering me after extended use with my headphones, but that's likely because I have crooked ears and need to be taking more breaks anyway. I'm definitely considering getting another pair so that I can have one at work and one at home. Overall, I don't think these are life changing but if you suffer from eyestrain or you've been looking at getting computer glasses, I highly recommend these.

The main question is do these actually work to reduce eye strain and headaches? Yes. I did a little bit of research on different brands and decided to go with these because they were straightforward with what the product offered without over-hyping it with needless marketing terms. They are very light-weight but they don't feel like cheap at all. It's an odd kind of plastic that is sturdy and solid and doesn't immediately feel like plastic. They are smooth, flat and what I feel could be considered low-profile. I've worn them for as little as an hour and for as long as eight hours and they are perfectly comfortable. I haven't once noticed any discomfort from wearing them, including while wearing them with circumaural headphones. The headphones fit over them comfortably and I can barely notice I have the glasses on. So if you're worried about discomfort while gaming with headphones, don't be. In the two weeks that I've been using them I have seen a significant reduction in the minor headaches associated with staring at a computer all day. I've also noticed much less eye strain but these don't cure that completely. I also alternated using them one day and not the next and the difference is very noticeable to me. They do help with eye strain while gaming but it's minimal, but enough that I do wear them when I play. The biggest benefit has been using them in normal computer tasks: emails, excel, reading lots of text, etc. My only problem with the glasses is the nose bridge. It's a wide bridge so if you have a narrow or even a medium nose the top of the frame sits very near your line of vision. This wouldn't be a problem if they were reading glasses or if you're tilting your head down to look at a phone, but when you are staring straight at a computer screen they create an annoyance. I constantly find myself tilting my head slightly back so my eyes stare through the center of the lenses which is uncomfortable. I think a great addition to the product might be the inclusion of some slim nose pads that could be applied if needed - I would even pay a little more for that. So now I'm left finding some nose pads to make these glasses fit perfectly. Not the fault of the manufacturer because they are a universal size, but a gripe nonetheless. At the end of the day I consider these glasses money very well spent and I'm kicking myself for not having invested in these a long time ago. They come with a hard protective case and a lens cleaning cloth which is a very nice addition but I think the inclusion of some nose pads would make this a perfect product. They are five stars, 4.5 if Amazon let you rate by half a star.

I used wore these glasses for the last 3 days to see how it affects me. Pros: - I don't experience that headache when using computer. Cons: (Note: these may not be exactly cons) - For some reason, every time I use them, I feel nausea. - Another strange feeling I experience is in my eyes. I have a strange irritating feeling while using them, and it gets magnified once I removed them. -Sometimes I feel like my vision is negatively affected by wearing these glasses, which really scares me of what can possibly happen if I keep using them. - They get foggy / dirty fast and not easy to clean them. UPDATE : 02/16/2017 The nausea feeling and vision issue are gone! And I also no longer get headache from using computer while wearing these glasses. I think all I needed is just sometime to get accustomed to it. I forced myself into using it the first 2 weeks, and now its all good! I can finally say that I recommend these glasses.
