Nice little adapter
Nice little adapter, heavy duty enough that I wasn't particularly worried about it overheating if i was using it. I purposefully wired an AC unit with a 20 amp plug to encourage myself to always use the the heaviest outlet, but nice to have an adapter if you get stuck using an extension cord for a short time.

Works Like A Charm!
I am totally amped about this adapter! It gave me the outlet I needed for my issues! The connections I made because of this outlet will help me for years to come! I am now able to easily adapt to new conditions and plug into a whole new world of information! Now whenever I feel stressed I just find a quiet place and repeat the word ohm to myself until the stress is gone. Thanks AC Connectors 15 Amp Household Plug to 20 Amp T-Blade Female Adapter!

Safe if you're sure that your load will never go over 15 amps
What do you do if you want to connect a fairly modest amount of computer equipment to a powerful UPS (to maximize runtime), but the UPS has a 20 amp plug? Knowing that the circuit will never draw anything close to 20 amps, you get one of these, and you're good to go.

Exactly what we needed
Was the perfect adapter to let our old treadmill function in a new household when we sold it. Wish I'd known about it before hiring an electrician to install a dedicated electrical outlet for the dang thing! Could have saved a hundred bucks!!

From Generator, to extension cord, to this, to an APC 2200 UPS for clean safe power during an outage.
I bought this, so I can use my APC UPS running from a heavy duty extension cord to a generator. If power goes out during a storm, generators are not exactly a source of clean power, so with a UPS with sinewave drawing power from a generator, sensitive electronics should be safe to charge.

It does it's job.
It did what I needed it to do, allow me to convert amps. It worked, I mean, that's the highest praise I feel I can give this item not being an electrician and knowing specialized information. It's pretty sturdy and probably has over a 100hrs of use on it without issue from me.

Solid - Well built
I'm using this product to connect a 20amp power meter to 110v power to run a laptop and two LCD's drawing under an amp. I was surprised at how solid and well built this adapter is. It's worth every penny and then some. I would expect it to last forever..

Make use of ALL your ports on that UPS
Stupid wart plugs take up all the room on your UPS? Even on your wall plugs?? These things are AWESOME. I quite quickly used more than half of them. The only thing that would make these better? Have the wall section at an angle and flat. Highly recommend

A heavy gauge wire solution to using our 3000VA UPS on a 15A socket.
This thing is built heavy, which for adapting a 20A device to a 15A outlet is what you want. Our wiring is rated for 20A, has a 20A breaker, but only 15A wall sockets. This was a quick solution to putting a 20A UPS onto our 15A socket. The reality is we don't run more than 5A, and only use the large datacenter ups in office areas for the additional runtime it affords. Having to have every 15A socket replaced with a 20A or changing the power cord to an equally heavy 15A was just not practical. As much as I hate "cheater" AC wiring, for this application, this was the way to go.

Only for a 20A appliance on a 20A circuit with a 15A receptacle
I don't know why electricians put 15A receptacles on 20A circuits, but they do it all the time. If you don't have the expertise to change the receptacle, get one of these for your large-current-draw equipment. Just make sure you have a 20A breaker on that circuit. (Plug a light into that receptacle and turn it on. Start flipping breakers off one at a time until the light goes out, and make sure the breaker controlling that circuit says "20". If it says "15", your wiring will not handle a 20A appliance on that circuit, and the breaker will trip if you try.)
