I’m a streamer on Mixer and I’ve been stuck streaming my Xbox cause my PS4 slim model doesn’t let me hear audio. I bought this as a last resort and it actually worked. It’s worth the $10. Trust me. I tried other cables to connect to my el gato and all failed but this one did g hesitate to cheer me up. You’ll like it. Great for an audio source.

Works great!

I bought this as a replacement for my chatlink cord I had previously for my elgato game capture device. It worked perfectly to help bring audio of my party to my live stream during gameplay!

Must have.

This is a must if you have a sterio headset like the PS4 Wireless Gold Headset, Turtle Beaches, or equivalent. This allows your party members voice to be included in the gameplay you record which is helpful if you are interested in making videos like vanossgaming does with his friends voices.

Works like a charm.

It's just what I needed to post recorded conversations of online gaming on to the internet. You'll need a couple of other things to completely make this works but when you get it finally worked out... it works like a charm. I'm so glad they came out with this helpful adapter. The only things that you might want to worry about is if the cords aren't firmly put together, you might get a little static in your headset. To fix this, just simply make sure all connectors are firmly connected and there aren't any kinks in the cords. This cord is a little long so if you have OCD and like to keep everything neat and tidy, you might have a hard time with this cord. Otherwise there are no problems with it.

Life saver

Just started uploading my games and I couldn’t hear what was going on until I got this wire, this was a must have because all my videos i had to keep in muting the tv to see what was going on. Must have item when recording with the legato game capturing card. Mostly for the ps 4

Make sure you have the right end plugged in to controller vs the Elgato... made this mistake and almost sent it back as bad... it’s awesome just know charging your controller while using this is gonna cause it to buzz... better to have two controllers... but it’s awesome

Awesome Product

Works awesome! streaming has no delay, works with my laptop. I have two suggestions. 1. Use a different program because the one that comes with it is a little funky. 2. Buy a different mic set up, because when you raise or lower the volume in game it also raises and lowers your volume, so in intense video game moments you might be overpowered by the gunfire! It works for PS4/PC Stream - Doesn't fit with Scuf Controller

This product is cheap and it did the job for me. The only issue is that I use a Scuf controller to play call of duty and fortnite and the male end of the cable does not fit into the aux port. It is no fault of the chat link cable, but the Scuf Impact controller has a narrow space for it to fit. For that reason, I had to return it and make my friends use discord to talk.

For my situation, it wasn't as straight forward as it says

The chat link works fine, when hooked up to my computer. It's the whole getting your headset connected for recording that's the difficult part. It either works one of two ways for me. I can hear my party chat but my audio is only the game audio coming through, not my microphone audio(Xbox one controller) or I can hear myself talking and the game audio but not other people in the party chat. That being said, the chat link is working fine to my knowledge but it is set aside for right now not being used because of me having difficulty getting my headset(turtle beach x35 I believe) to get my chat and the party chat.

Great little unit for elgato, or other audio input-mixing for xbox.

Novel solution custom-tailored for xbox. Everything you hear in your headphones - game sound, team chat, random squad chat- is available to whatever you use to consume the sound. In my case it's the elgato, but those of you with a soundboard or mixer would find this handy as well.
