A great way to mount your Apple TV.

I used this to mount a 4th generation Apple TV on the back of a 55" Vizio TV and it works great. I used the included adhesive tape to attach the mount to the back of my television. The instructions recommend waiting 24 hours before putting the Apple TV in the mount so the adhesive has time to cure. That's the only caveat. I haven't had any problems with the Apple TV remote, even though the body of the TV is between the TV and the remote. If you're trying to de-clutter the area around your television or you have a wall mounted television this is a great option.

Elegant Solution

This product helped me achieve exactly what I was looking for!!! I have a 55" LG mounted in the master bedroom and I was insistent on a very elegant solution. I wanted no wires, boxes, or anything else showing. So I had the electrical outlet relocated higher up on the wall, and also spent quite a bit of money running Cat5e lines from my home office (where the Fios ONT is) to each location. So once I got the electrical and ethernet ports high up on the wall, all I needed was a way to tuck the Apple TV behind the TV. Since the new generation of Apple TV does not require line of sight, this was going to work! Sure enough, it stuck to the wall using the included 3M adhesive and it has been stuck there for the past few months and has not budged. I highly recommend this for those looking for an elegant solution, where you can "Set it and forget it"!

Big TotalMount Fan

I have my TV mounted on the wall, and I have all of my components behind the TV with a TotalMount mount. I started buying the TotalMount products back when I had an Apple TV version 1. I now have all of my Apple TV 4ks mounted using them. I love having the components and cables behind the TV so nothing shows. These work great!.

Just as pleased second time around.

This is my second mount. I was very pleased with the last one, but needed a new one to fit the new (and slightly larger) 4th generation AppleTV. One thing in particular was a pleasant surprise. I have a Sony TV without any vents in the upper areas, just a kind of fabric-ish covering where the mount needs to go - hence I needed to use the adhesive option. Even though the adhesive was very strong, the original mounts still peeled off cleanly using just a little patience and a butter knife to tease it off. I fully expected the fabric covering to be damaged but there was no damage at all and not even a residual film of adhesive.

The best Apple TV holdr

This is the perfect mate to the Apple TV, I absolutely love mine and since I hang my tv would not know what to do without it, I was able to buy a really nice hdmi cable because I was able to get a shorter one since this thing hangs right behind my Samsung tv, I wasn’t able to use the vent holders but I was able to mount it on the wall and It still works great.

Works as advertised.

Works great! I used the stick on method and it seems to hold the Apple TV securely to the back of my flatscreen. Great fit! UPDATE: Mount has already fallen off TV with stick on method. Will try the hook method. UPDATE: Customer service if first rate, added an additional star because of this. I am now using the hooks on the TV and they work great! UPDATE: After taking the advice of customer service on the stick on method I can assuredly say it is improved. Very happy thank you.

Works great, but I wish they included velcro tape.

Works as described and feels like a great mount. It'd be great if they included the plastic velcro (like you get on toll bridge transponders) though instead of adhesive tape for mounting the product behind your TV. This is made to hang your AppleTV out of sight and works great!!!

I don't write many reviews but this is a much improved product that took advantage of the blutooth capability of the newest AppleTV. I had an older TotalMount for the smaller AppleTV and used the adhesive to hang it from the back/bottom of my flat screen. It held for a period of time then failed. The vent hooks provided with the newer/ larger product that is sized for the larger AppleTV work great and result in a totally clean (actually invisible) look. Now I can run one power cord through paintable conduit up the wall and split it to the tv and Apple TV. One cord to hide, everything else is neatly coiled and hidden behind the TV. Three different versions of hooks as well as 3 screws along with the traditional adhesive came with my package. Many mounting options. Great redesign, from product to packaging.

Cuts down on cord clutter, super simple install

Love this, it works perfectly to keep your Apple TV mounted out of site on the wall or on the back of the TV. I was a bit dubious as to how well the Apple TV would be able to catch the signal from the remote, but have had zero issues. I used the adhesive to mount it to my TV. From prior experience with 3m adhesives I know/prefer to wait an hour after applying the adhesive before adding the heavy items. Experience learned the hard way from a prior experience when I didn't get the adhesive time to "firm up". It feels a bit pricey for a basic piece of plastic, but that is probably just jealousy on my part that I didn't come up with the idea to develop and market this brilliant and handy little tool. Two thumbs up. I also recommend the remote holder from this same company. Without it I'm sure our Apple TV remote would be long lost.... !

Here's something I didn't even think I needed

Just purchased a new display and Apple 4k TV. Basically, my plan was to put the Apple TV in the media cabinet and just go with that. However, I had a little extra money to spend and this mount came up on an Amazon search and for its low price, I decided to add it to my cart. The mount arrives with screws and hooks, giving you several options to hang this caddy. There is even removable adhesive on the back where you can simply stick it to the back of your display. I opted to use the small plastic hooks. I found the vents on the rear of my display and simply let the mount hang from the hooks. Worked out surprisingly well. The mount has a removable adapter in it that allows you to insert any size Apple TV. Here is what I discovered through the purchase of this mount... There really is a need for this mount. What it does is make your Apple TV disappear. Instead of it taking up space in your media cabinet or out in the open, it disappears behind your television. Nobody but you know that it is there. The second amazing thing I found is that the remote works quite well even with the ATV hidden behind the display. So, for something I bought on a whim, I find myself patting myself on the back as a great purchase. For me to have one less device out in the open is a godsend. I would highly recommend this mount!
