My Bag

Lightweight, comfortable on shoulder, no hard edges. Easily carry iPad, earphones, notebook, pens, kleenex, reading glasses, swiss army knife, charging cords, even my 13" MacBook Pro if I want. And, plenty of room for meds, gauze pads, tape and paperwork I pick up from the VA pharmacy and clinics visits. A water bottle pocket on each side, no imbalance noted or drag if only carrying one water bottle. Outstanding value! Will highly recommend to anyone needing a good-looking bag that will carry one's necessities and still have room to cram other stuff picked up during the day.

Good messenger bag.

The bag is holding up well so far. I've been using it a couple day. The construction seems good. For the price it's quite good. I would have rather had snaps over Velcro for the closure, but that's just my preference. The zippers have yet to catch like some of the cheap Chinese bags. I will edit later if things change.

Fantastic messenger bag! I love it!!!

This bag is awesome! It not only looks cool, but it holds all of my essentials! I sprayed it with waterproof spray & now it’s perfect! I had a messenger bag like this before that was actually quite heavy & cumbersome even without anything in it & this bag is NOT like that one. It’s a good quality, well made bag! I love it! I’m a dental instructor & have to walk around a large campus & walk to & from our dental lab every day/all day & this bag doesn’t kill my back at all. It even has 2 pockets on the sides for my refillable, filtered water bottle & coffee tumbler. It has a zippered pocket on the inside also for pens/pencils &/or whatever small essential items you’d need to take to work with you & has 2 pockets in the front for your car/house keys, wallet, cellphone, snacks etc...I don’t carry my purse into work anymore, I just use this bag now. I suggest that you buy waterproof spray & spray this bag to make it the ultimate messenger bag like I did!!! I love it & it works perfectly for my needs!

Cheap, durable, useful, and comfortable

I have been using this bag for almost a year after switching from a large with lots of pockets. I wanted to cut down on all of the unnecessary stuff I carried around and this definitely did that for me. The main pocket is large enough to carry a pretty large amount of stuff (including my 15.6" laptop) and the outside pockets are amply sized. The zipper pocket inside the main pocket is good for pens and pencils. The strap is comfortable as long as the shoulder pad is in the right place and it is adjusted right. There are no visible signs of wear, even after almost a year of constant use. A few possible improvements that could be made: I wish there was one more zipper pocket on it, since stuff can easily fall out of the outside pockets. I got a pencil case to stick into one of them and that works okay. I also think the strap is not designed especially well, since the rectangular metal connector always flips the wrong way around since it was designed backwards. Also the length adjustment thing doesn't hold the strap very well, so it has to be adjusted every couple of days. Overall, though, it is a very good bag and it does its job of carrying things very well. I would buy it again.

Solid quality messenger bag.

Please note that this bag is shapeless, in other words, it doesn't stand up rigidly independently. It is a very nice looking bag and the many pockets are helpful. The velcro is strong and the adjustable strap is comfortable. I like the handle on the top for carrying, as well. It is serving as a bag to hold all the items for a single topic to be shared within a work group and everyone finds it agreeable to carry/use. Unisex styling.

It may sound weird to say a shoulder bag feels good, but this thing feels incredible. I love it and am so glad to have it. I've seen some comments critiquing that it doesn't have self-standing shape, but... Dude, seriously? This bag has expansive storage, wide pockets, and (again) is super comfortable. Frankly, if you have a problem with this bag, something is wrong with you. Five stars, hands down. And nobody paid me jack shiz for this review.

Perfect for it's intended purpose.

I get really annoyed at people that buy stuff that's well described with lots of pictures and then write a bad review because it doesn't have such and such features. "not big enough to hold my stuff": The dimensions of the product and the items it can hold are well described. "handle should be on top not the back": Do you realize if it were on top instead of high on the back it would be on the cover strap? Do you know what would happen then when you pick it up? "doesn't close securely, it just has Velcro": Did it ever say anywhere that it closes securely? Admittedly the description should mention the Velcro closure but that's the fault of Amazon not the bag or it's maker. My assumption when I bought it was that the flap just hangs over the side. The Velcro was a nice addition that I didn't know was there. Maybe I'll get flagged for chastising other reviewers but use your brain. The bag is excellent for the purpose it was designed for and quite large compared to most others that are similar. I looked carefully for the dimensions I needed because I wanted to stick my 14" compartmented clipboard in there, a couple water bottles, food, and a few other tools. I bought it to replace one of those grocery store reusable shopping bags and I use it to walk a couple blocks to where my car is stored. The shoulder strap is well padded and very comfortable. Also I love the classic look. For $22 you get a nice big bag to throw your stuff in quickly.

A Floppy Canvas Bag

This bag is floppy. That isn't a problem for me, and not a failing. There are pockets on the outside: One on each side, and Two in the middle under the loop-and-hook fasted flap. These don't have any fasteners on them, and nothing to keep items from falling out. Easy in, and easy out. There's a thin fabric, zippered pouch inside the main compartment sewn on to the top, and at the back back. The shoulder strap is not detachable. I saw the picture shown by BL Smoove on Aug 07, 2017 "Falling Apart", and my bag was double stitched. That doesn't mean it can't come unstitched, but maybe the bag BL Smoove received had a defect, or maybe they're now double stitching to improve performance. There is a carry handle attached to the back.

My teenage son prefers messenger bags to backpacks and needed a new one for this new school year. We had a hard time finding one in stores and finally found this one online. It's well made and rugged. Plain, but not fancy. The inner compartment is big enough for his notebooks, lunch bag and tablet, and the pockets are conveniently sized for everything else. He loves having a side pocket just for a water bottle. He's 5'8" and with the adjustable shoulder strap, the bag is a comfortable fit. So far, even with riding the bus and being used all day, this bag is sturdy and he is very happy with it. I am happy with a great product at a great price. Update May 2018: My son has used this bag for the entire school year. It has survived two daily bus rides, being thrown on the floor and tossed into corners. It has held up incredibly well. No rips or tears. At this rate, he can use it again next year. And if he couldn't, I'd buy another one just because this one has lasted so long.
