We have a family full of guitarists. I purchased 2 Happy Tune 6 String Acoustic Guitars for my twin nephews for Christmas. Well, the boys loved them. The only problem was SO did all the grown-ups! Everyone wanted to have a pluck at them. I 'd say the guitars was a huge success.

GUITAR FOR A SMALL CHILD

I think this little guitar is a good price for the product. I read other reviews about how it doesn't stay in tune as the pegs loosen. But I think it is only fair to note that the guitar is very inexpensive and basically for a small child, not a musical virtuous. It is a very good first choice for 3-5 year old. I will purchase another one for my Grandson if it should break. At this price point it is a good option for a small child.

AMAZING guitar for toddler age and up

My 2 year old LOVES his new guitar - it is by far his favorite toy - His 6 and 4 year old brothers thoroughly enjoy playing with it as well! It comes with a pick which makes it more fun for the older buys. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a toy guitar for ages 2+!

Bought two for my 2yo twins. Only one is showing a real interest in guitars right now, but there's no way in hell I can only have one because the other kid will immediately scream infernally and I will regret being born. That said, both kids are loving it. The one who really loves guitars will not put it down. This is helpful, because neither child watches TV (to my great distress), so I've finally found something to entertain one for good stretches of time. Now for the other one... Great product!

Perfect For the young musician

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson who is in love with the guitar as a Christmas present. He has been watching Coco with great interest in the music. It was the perfect size and he loved it playing it often. He was pretty tough on it and rather than see him without his instrument I bought it again. He plays and sings with great enthusiasm and I get to watch amazing videos of him strumming his little heart out.

Great kids toy

It's a kids toy. This isn't a real guitar for playing on, even though it's fully functional. The E string doesn't stay tight, but I can adjust it and tighten it up every now and then. I bought this for a 2 year old and it has held up to 6 months of abuse. He loves it. Only thing I wish it came with was a strap for him to wear it around, but I just made one from an old belt.

Great buy

This is so much more than I anticipated! I thought I was buying a cheap plastic toy, but this is pretty close to a real guitar. It can be tuned really well (though it doesn’t stay tuned for more than a few minutes, as despite my best efforts, the mechanisms to tune it are all very loose), and the sound is pretty great. My son LOVES it!

Great product for young music lover!

I purchased this for my two year old nephew who is a music fanatic, and it was a HIT!! He absolutely loves it. It has the appearance of a "real" guitar, but has the durability needed for a young child. The pic being attached is brilliant, and he was quite proud to have a pic to play with just like his Pawpaw. I am an early childhood professional, and familiar with many brands of toys for youngsters. This toy more than fits the standard I hold for purchasing toys for children in my own family. I would highly recommend this for any young music lover, as well as any collector. We purchased the "sunburst" design, and it was a beautiful toy.

Very well made, and I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me the lab results on materials. No lead or other harmful materials detected except a very low part per billion on the white plastic tuning knobs. Its way under the safety regulations limit, so this is not only a real instrument, it's very safe for young children. :)
