I love it. I ordered this with a specific need in mind. I have terrible cell signal inside my house so I bought a cell phone signal booster, but a small one with limited range. So I am constantly putting my phone into 'test mode' so I can read the actual decibels of my signal (more accurate than the signal bars), so then I walk around, find a spot with a good signal, set the phone down in that exact spot and use speakerphone (so that way I'm not moving the phone around with my body and changing the signal, it's very touchy). Ah, life in the woods! So I realized a little stand like this is a must since it's on speakerphone almost entirely when I'm home and I also want it propped up so I can monitor the signal strength as I talk. I almost ordered one by "Amazon Basics" which looked decent but decided on this one instead for two reasons: 1. It was cheaper, and 2. It has an adjustable angle and I don't believe the other one did. The little silicone strip in this tray is crucial. Before I ordered this stand I was propping my phone on all kinds of "makeshift stands" from scotch tape dispensers to framed photos, a variety of things. The main reason why nothing worked was because the phone would slide off. I even tried padding it with a paper towel (yeah, I'm that cheap!) but that just got in the way, I needed a proper stand. So the silicone strip on this little stand holds it in place perfectly. I like that I can change the angle. It will hold the device vertically or horizontally. I noticed the description recommends using your phone horizontally for best results and I can see why. The phone when vertical is a little tippy (side to side I mean. Not the stand but the phone itself rocks to the side with a light touch, when on the stand vertically). This could be easily fixed if they added a second silicone strip on the back; the part it leans up against. Mine hasn't tipped off the stand yet, but a good bump would probably knock it off the side if the phone is in the tall (vertical) position. That being said, I'm an adult, no kids around, so I use mine vertically with care and it's fine. One bonus: The description also says that it won't work with phones or tablets "with cases", presumably because the case makes it too thick to fit in the VERY slim tray. I will say though, my Kindle Fire HD 8 WITH the Amazon case (the fabric kind that says "Amazon" on the lower right corner) DOES fit on this. So that's a bonus. So now I want to order another one of these stands just for the Kindle (the Amazon case technically has a flap that acts as a stand but it's less than reliable). I should note however, that Amazon Fire case is very thin, so many if not most other cases would probably not fit, the tray is quite narrow. The stand is tiny too, you could easily put it in a pocket, purse or bag. I ordered a book at the same time as this stand and thought they forgot to send the stand because the box was tightly wrapped around the book, but sure enough, it was just so tiny and flat that it fit right in the flat book box.

I bought this for a trip to use on a plane but I've found that I've incorporated it into my every day carry since it provides so much functionality at a bare minimum cost of space in my pockets. I'm pleasantly surprised. This is the best smart phone stand. - Collapsible design means I can carry it in my pocket with my wallet. - Adjustable viewing angles. - Rubber feet give it a nice grip on any surface. - Rubber cradle ensures that your phone doesn't slip around while in the stand

This is a really nice little product. It folds up completely flat, has many different angles to choose from, has anti-slip rubber feet, and a rubber insert to protect my phone. My phone has a thin bumper case, and there is plenty of room to spare in the notch. It looks like it could accommodate an otter box case. The lip on the notch does not stick up far and does not block the screen. The stand stays in place and doesn't slide around when pressing on my phone screen. This is perfect for travel and use on plane tray tables. I did a lot of comparison shopping, and I'm glad I chose this stand. I just ordered five more to give as gifts.

I use it on my night stand next to my bed to hold my iPhone7. I was worried I would knock my phone onto the floor while reaching for a glass of water blindly in the dark, but there is a rubber grip on the bottom that has prevented that. It makes it much more convenient to reach for my phone and I also like not having my expensive phone laying flat on the tabletop. It holds my phone both vertically and horizontally making it easy to access charge port on bottom of phone. I like that I can flip it closed and carry it with me, I like the adjustable slide to hold my phone at different angles. I haven't tried it with my iPad yet but I see other reviewers have and included photos, so I will be trying it while using my iPad for recipes in the kitchen. This seems to be made well, it is sturdy and not cheap feeling, and also light weight. Recommend to buy.

Picture makes this stand look small sized. Actually it is VERY, VERY small, but a good size for my Kindle Voyager. It is strong and sturdy. I can set it on my lap while reading, which leaves my hands free for my coffee cup or snacks....or jotting notes or whatever. I'm glad I bought it.

I purchased this item to hold my phone or tablet upright, making the screen easy to read while typing on a bluetooth keyboard. The rubber pads keep the stand firmly in place on my slick-top desk. For me, this is basically a permanent setup. I don't know how it would hold up long term if it was being folded and unfolded often. The base pivot is a metal rod - no problems expected there. I cannot determine how the upper pivot is made - I suspect it is plastic molded into the joint, but don't know for sure. It would seem to be plenty sturdy for what it does. It does fold flat for easy transport. I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend. BTW - I learned of this product through the shutupandplay.ca guitar tutorial website. Andy's endorsement was enough to persuade me to buy. I'm not disappointed at all.

UPDATE: Company reached out to me offered to send me a new one , I declined but I thanked them for the fast response. I did fix mine with a paperclip that I cut to size and used in place of the missing pins. Stand works really well for my cell phone and is light weight and built with much accuracy. Again I was a little disappointed that mine came is a unusable condition but the company does stand behind this product and the support is amazing. Just based on my experience with this company I have to say they will not leave you hanging and do everything that can to make sure that you are a happy customer. _------_---------__-------------------- Seemed like a good product but when I received mine 2 metal pins that hold the stand together were missing or fell out! If it would have been in 1 piece it looks like it might have been a good stand but I have to go by the condition mine is in. I can not recommend at all

Alright, I give. I read the dozens of reviews on this and thought there's no way such a small looking piece of plastic would hold my 10" tablet. I was wrong, you were right, I yield. Fantastic. Holds my Tab S4 in either landscape or portrait without blinking, and even if I'm playing games that run out to the edges of the screen it almost never so much as wiggles. Once in awhile in portrait mode if I'm pressing on the very top of the screen it'll give me a warning wiggle, but that's it. Best of all? Folds down to about the size of maybe 3 or 4 credit cards. When this delivered I immediately bought 2 more of the small ones for my phone and 7" tablet and dropped them down into my work bag. Always have a stand and never have to shop for a kickstand case again! The lip doesn't fold down at all, but is only about 1/4" tall so it also doesn't get in the way of anything. Surprisingly sturdy as well, so I'm not worried about the lip breaking off under the stress of the way I toss around my bag. The space where the phone or tablet rests is silicone with that slightly tacky silicone feel, and holds securely. Without the case, I can put both my tablet and stylus on the silicone strip. If you're looking at reviews to decide what size to get, start with this one. My Galaxy S8+ and iPhone 6S+ are both almost exactly as wide as this stand in portrait, and as I've raved my 10" tablet still isn't too big for it. Start with this size and get a smaller one later if you want.

These phone stands are awesome! We use them with an iPhone 7 in an otter box case and it holds up great. They fold flat and fit in your pocket easily. I bought one for me and two for my sisters. We even ordered two extras to leave in the living room and on the patio. Great for streaming movies or watching funny clips together! Cool simple design and great customer service! One stand we received had a loose pin and they sent us a new one.

This product is perfect for me. I purchased two and I'm very satisfied with the both. Actually more than just satisfied, when you buy something you need to get all you need and this is all I need. One holds a small 8 in tablet and the other holds my iPhone. This small holder is solidly constructed. It will last a long time. The non-skid base is a plus! You can adjust the angle as needed. Now, I have a holder for a 10 inch tablet. Just a little holder clearly handles my tenets to have needed. If you want to buy something more fancy go ahead and knock yourself out. But If you want a holder that's sturdy, Can improvise angles, just to hold your iPhone or tablet, you can't go wrong here. Yes it's small but it's effective and Solid. It will last probably longer than your phone well that's my two cents now it's up to you.
