Life Changing
I have always bought Cuisinart products. My mother has always bought Cuisinart products. My grandmother has always bought Cuisinart products. But I am NEVER buying another Cuisinart product as long as I live. This food processor/blend is a revelation; it is life changing. I have been trying for over 10 years to make the perfect hummus at home. I have tweaked every recipe, followed every tip, and the texture was never, ever right - never as smooth as it should be - UNTIL I BOUGHT THIS BEAUTY. I made hummus this morning and it was absolutely perfect, breathtaking perfect. I've been to Israel, the birthplace of hummus, I have eaten the best of the best hummus on earth and what I made today is on par - and it is thanks to this food processor. I have never had a smoother hummus anywhere on earth. I was near tears, that's how good it was. Don't boil your chickpeas, don't skin them, don't even attempt to make hummus with a Cuisinart - buy this thing and you too can make the best hummus on earth. It's already worth the asking price for that alone, but I'm sure it's just as awesome at other things as well.

Works great:D
I really wanted a glass blender bcuz I wanted to be able to soak cashews in the blender either over night or with hit water. With this the inside of the blender is glass and metal unless you use the plastic single serving cup or the food processor. I have used all 3 attachments with a lot of success. I did freak myself out when I first turned it on because I went straight for the smoothie setting. It spins at slower then faster speads which I think helps a lot with stiring. Ive used the blender everyday since I got it which is great cuz i have a bad habit of buying things, being disastisfied, and then never touching that thing again@.@ i also bought it used which means it didnt come with a manuel. But it was easy to put together and figure it out. The one thing thats been erksome is that the seal in the cap of the single serve bottle is tough to get out to clean. I have to use a tack to get it out. Im wondering if theres an easier less damaging way to do it...

Great value
I’ve owned a few bargain blenders over the years and never knew what it felt like to own a “semi-pro” blender/food processor until I finally pulled the trigger on this one. From the get go I could tell just by the sound and feel that this processor is what you get when you spend a little extra. First big test was large chunks of cooked chicken breast and this perfectly chopped them and the added ingredients for a well blended chicken salad. Next test was the salsa function which worked well to chop and blend the ingredients without grinding them to a paste. The parts (excluding base) all separate easily for safe cleaning in the dishwasher.

Deceptively large container and that's good if you remember
First batch of smoothies would have been enough for the army. Both the blender and the chopper mean serious business when you turn them on and if you wait too long it will make soup out of rocks. Pulse only takes an instant to chop an onion fine. Full power is a little loud but on mix it is nice and quiet. Looks good on the counter. The lid is actually air tight so if you don't dry inside of the glass carefully you will be missing a finger in short order and if there is moisture inside when you put the lid on firm the remaining moisture will actually steam up the inside. Nice piece of solid equipment but needs a little time and experience to learn the ins and outs for best use.

I liked it. It is very sharp
I liked it. It is very sharp. I make Indian crepes. I blend rice and lentals(Udid Dal). They have to be very fine grinded and it works fine for it. So, my expectations have been met perfectly.

Better than the Ninja!
I love this blender! I had a ninja for four years and I thought it was great, but it broke and I purchased this as a deal of the day to replace it. This blender works so much better than my ninja even did! It makes smoothies in just seconds and cleaning it is so easy it's almost fun. I've only had it a couple of weeks so I can't speak on longevity, but so far I love it! I don't think it's any louder than my ninja was, which was a concern for me after reading other reviews.

Powerful blender, be more careful with the food processor.
This is a really great blender. I really like the program for “food chop/salsa.” When I make smoothies with frozen fruit and soy milk, I start with that setting. The blades alternating direction at a slower speed help get things started without having to keep poking stuff down with a spatula. Then I finish it off with medium speed. The blender is powerful and really gets the job done. I also have the food processor attachment. I have been generally happy with that and it holds a nice amount for my needs. A warning: don’t try to chop frozen food in the food processor. I broke the linkage in the food processor chopping frozen bananas recently (about a year and a half after I bought it). I contacted Oster and they sent me a new food processor attachment at no charge.

Great Blender!
So this is my first blender that I’ve had in my home in years !! I decided to buy one after I decided to start a healthier eating regiment and saw that making smoothies would work really well into my needs. I looked at the ninja first being that’s the first item you think of when you shop for smoothie makers. My big issue with the Ninja was the plastic containers and mechanisms. I felt for that kind of money it should be at least glass for the pitcher. Yes! small detail considering most blenders are plastic but my experience with plastic shows that it tends to crack over time. However this very small detail caused me to shop around and thank God I did. I read the reviews and very few people had something negative to say about it. My main concern was I wanted a blender that really made me a “smoothie” I wanted it to be a velvety texture, not choppy. This does exactly that and more , I mean wow very powerful blender. I also love the food processor attachment it helps me to make my sauces etc. The only down side is that container is plastic but I can live with that being that is not something I use often. The other somewhat downside is it is a bit loud. I know I know it’s a blender but I find it to be a bit louder then normal blenders. But who knows, remember I haven’t had a blender in over 10 years! If your looking for a powerful blender that doesn’t cost you a small fortune here it is ! It gets the job done and inspires you to use for different things!
