Car: BMW M3, 2003, E46: This tool worked perfectly! There are two ends, with different hole spacing - the E46 M3 uses the slotted end. I can't speak for any other models, but for my car it was exactly the tool I needed. And the open end wrench was also spot on. I had my fan loosened and spinning off the water pump spindle in less than 5 seconds with this pair of tools. If you have the need to remove your fan, spend the very affordable amount of cash for this tool, makes the job infinitely easier, and doesn't risk throwing your water pump spindle out of alignment (like hitting a 32mm open end with a hammer can - don't ever do that!). Edit: Oh, and the quality of this tool was very solid, nice thick metal. I can't imagine this wrench failing unless you are turning the fan nut the wrong way. Remember, on the E46 M3 it is reverse threaded, so turn clockwise to loosen!

Awesome kit. Had everything I needed for a 2011 Ford Edge. And this kit includes what you'd need for just about anything else out there. High quality tool, and a nice feature is that the adapters are magnetic which helps hold them in place. I've been an ASE certified master mechanic for over 20 years, so I know a quality tool set when I see one, and this fits the bill.

The BMW 32mm Fan Clutch Nut Wrench is a key tool needed to work on other critical parts of the engine. The construction of this tool is solid and the delivery was extremely fast. You never know when you will need this tool so it is good to plan ahead and have it available before any problem starts. Do not try and use other tools because you will run the risk of breaking or cracking the water pump pulley. Hope this helps your customers.

There are lots of ways to press your brake caliper pistons back in when replacing your brake pads, but none as easy and effective as using the right tool. Good quality and although I am not a professional mechanic, I don't see any reason that these are not high enough quality that they could be used by one every day.

If you have calipers that compress through rotation, there is no other way to do it other than with this. The case is a nice touch but thin and doesn’t always hold parts in place (they are identified so you know where they go back). Only real issue is the sheet that says what piece to use was just wrong for Ford. Visually matched up and was good to go.

I took a chance and ordered despite some of the reviews, & I’m glad i did. Exactly what I needed. Heavy duty. I cant imagine the damage that people have described. Had my shroud, fan, & clutch out in less than 5 minutes. I would say that I’d buy them again, but these are gonna last for years to come.

These tools made a damn near impossible job possible. You may think you can get away without these but you will probably damage something in the process which would cost you more than the tools. Also remember the fan nut is a right hand thread so right to loosen.

For my 2004 BMW 325i with 160,000 miles this worked fine for taking off the fan clutch. Getting the fan clutch off the water pump was a 10-15 minute struggle but not the tools fault. One of the YouTube videos I watched showed someone who recommended bending the shaft just slightly for the holding tool grab the water pump bolts better. I have a California car so I have no idea what kind of rust and what not could cause someone to bend or break the 32mm tool. I also took in the info the fan clutch is reverse threaded. To each their own, no issues on my end.

Hard to judge the quality of these by the picture, but this set was better than I thought. Lot of times you don't need the tool to catch one of the screw heads, you can just give the 32mm wrench a good smack to break the nut free. I used mine anyway, and it worked pretty well. This is the set you want.

Just a simple tool worked great for me. I used it on the BMW moter on 03 Range Rover. I had too fabricate an extension to make them longer but only because the first guy to work on the truck didn't understand that it was a left handed nut and had beat it on so tight thinking he was trying to loosen it. Better than spending 150 for the tool at the dealership. And if you have a Range Rover (with the 4.4 BMW motor) you will eventually need this.
