Not only good for child safety but keeping dog from cabinet where garbage can is!
Okay, so my dog has figured out how to open the under the sink cabinet where the garbage can is... She figured it out when she was like 4months old... smart ass dog. LOVE HER! We had to buy these for one cabinet. I had purchased a 2pk but lost one of them and the sticky part stopped working so I figured these would last me longer. So far so good.

Child proofing kitchen cabinets and drawers, check!
These work great in our kitchen for our drawers and pantry. Super easy to use. JUST REMEMBER: don’t lock the open end (non sliding end) until you’re satisfied with the length because once it snaps shut there’s no more adjusting the length because it won’t open. An A+ for functionality and a C- for my clumsiness/curiosity. Luckily there’s more in the pack than I actually needed so experimenting with the 1 piece was fine. I made sure to mark where exactly on my drawers to place them. There’s instructions on how to remove them (quick heat with a hairdryer) but I haven’t had to remove any yet so we’ll see just how efficiently they actually remove later. I’d buy this product/similar products from this seller again.

Love! Love! Love!
Oh my goodness! These are amazing! I bought these to childproof my toddler's room because other products that I tried I didn't like. I used these to keep each drawer on his dresser closed and I also used two to attach to the back of the dresser to the wall to prevent the dresser from falling onto him. I have another product being used to keep the dresser from tipping but I don't feel it was safe enough so I added these. The closet has sliding doors so I used these to keep him from opening the closet. I attached one to the door and wall so he can't close the bedroom door. I also attached one to his toy stand with baskets for all his toys and the wall so he doesn't pull that over. It's very simple to release the straps to open a drawer, closet or the door so I can close it. I'm getting ready to order more. I completely recommend these!

Helps keep lil fingers safe at an affordable price!!
I love the many uses for these. This pack is affordable and so easy to use. I have used them on toliets, drawers, closet doors, trash cans, you name it. Helps keep my lil guys fingers safe since he wants to open and touch everything within his reach!! Make sure to adequately wash areas before applying 3m product to get the best hold. I did not in a few areas and had to reapply them after cleaning like I should have in the first place. Closet door may have an easier solution than 3 of these but the way I arranged these my son definitely cant open it up but they are easy enough for me to quickly open when putting away his laundry. Worth the hassle to keep him safe while transitioning to a big boy toddler room!

Holds strong grip, works great so far
I havent use them in so many places or materials yet, but the one I used in bathroom has a really strong grip and even when the toilet seat, where I installed it, has an uneven surface and it only touches with small edges on the glue sides, its strong enough and sufficient enough and feels sturdy. Very satisfied with the outcome so far. The kids havent been able to pull it loose and it doesnt feel like it would come off easily. (The kids are 1y4m and have for example pulled off all the table corner protectors). I can give more info once I have installed it on more locations and see how these locks do on other surfaces and over time, but right now Im very satisfied with the product. It is a little slippery to open, as the plastic lever you have to slide is quite tiny, but nothing impossible and also you dont want it to be too easy as the kids will otherwise quickly learn to do so as well.

Great to baby proof a home
I originally bought these from a different vendor and I've had those latches in use for a little bit over a year. Then I needed more to baby proof the kitchen so I got them from a different vendor, but they are the same as the first ones I bought and they have worked great so far. They are really easy to install and easy to use. Pros and cons based on my experience are listed below so you can make your own mind about it. As for me, I would definitely buy them again. Pros: - They are adjustable, just cut the plastic to the size you need. - Good for little kids to stay out of the cabinets. Even when I leave one open my daughter loves to walk by and close it herself (she is 20 months). - Very practical so when you only have one hand available, you still can open and close them easily. - Easy to use for everyone. They are super easy for grandma to use. I bought other latches for which you need to bend down and use two hands to unlock and they were hard on grandma's back. She is so happy that I switched to these ones. - Easy to install. - Can be installed in various surfaces. I used them for the toilets, dressers, stove, and cabinets (see photos). I am also planning on using them for the fridge, washer, and drier once the kids are older. - Can be removed without leaving any residue behind. To remove you can just use a hair dryer and something flat (I used a butter knife to avoid leaving marks). Make sure you use the hair dryer for enough time otherwise you will be left having to remove some sticky residue manually. - Can reuse since it comes with additional 3M tape. Plus you can just buy your own 3M tape if you run out. (this is also a con, see below) Cons: - One of the latches keeps falling of my cabinets (I bought more from a different vendor so I don't know if this is the one that falls or the other, but since I have about 20 latches in use, one not sticking is not a big deal) - The removing part can be tricky and tedious: (1) You have to use a hair dryer for about 4 to 5 minutes to remove each sticky side so about 8 to 10 minutes to remove just one latch. (2) Prior to removing you have to make sure the latches are closed, otherwise they will become unusable. I removed one while open and I couldn't close it again. (3) Once you remove them for the first time, the part where you adjust the length gets a little lose so it is easier to open. I am not sure when the kids will figure this out, but I am assuming once they are a little bigger they will and I may have to replace them for new ones.

amazing!
I have 6 children, my two youngest are autistic, these locks are perfect for my older children to still be able to get into cabinets or the fridge without difficulty. my youngest child is severely autistic and gets into everything, these locks have made my life so much easier because it keeps him out of the cabinets and drawers that I do not want him in! (He was making a mess of everything or constantly getting into the fridge) I highly recommend these locks!! I ordered more to continue safe proofing other cabinets and drawers that hes currently not getting into but may get into in the future!

Strong adhesive, easy to use, and easy to remove
I've bought this through two moves. My daughter actually likes to latch these shut, unknowingly locking herself out of the cabinets, while also knowing that the locks mean they cabinets no longer open. They install in a few seconds. Five minutes with a hair dryer on full blast takes them off with minimal effort. I've attached a photo of how it looks after removal. There were some initial remnants, but after just dabbing the remaining adhesive with the balled up part I just removed, this is all that is left on my cabinets. I haven't even wiped them down yet; you can see the slight indication of where they used to be stuck, but otherwise minimal fuss and no damage. Perfect!

one product with tons of uses !
I have a one and two year old who I think look at baby proofing products at as a puzzle they are determined to solve and I have tried two prior brands of baby proofing straps prior to this purchasing this set. Although all 3 brands are similar to each other, while trying the two prior brands I found some hiccup/negative factors that prevented me from feeling like they were outstanding & worth using in the countless places around the house. After reading others reviews on this product I decided to see if they would withstand the attempts from my boys---& I'm pleased to say that they have! The reasons I like this product better than others is.. -the adjustable side of the strap is easy to use and lock into place(&my boys weren't able to slid it off) -they wont damage the surface it's placed on. This factor was essential to me. Because I wanted to put them on dressers; China Cabinets, Doors; and kitchen cabinets I didn't want to be left with a disaster once they were removed. **but they were not able to be ripped/pulled off if drawer or door was pulled on. I used rubbing alcohol and putty knife to gently remove. -they strap length is long. One of the areas I wanted to put the strap on was on the basement door; but with our cat's litter box in basement I wanted there to be able to be a gap so that the door could be cracked so the cat could get down to his box. Ive had this product for a week now and I'm definitely impressed--feeling hopeful it will withstand the test of my curious and determined toddlers!

Older children(ages4-up) can undo them easily. These are on the outside of your cabinet/door ...
These work well as child safety locks. Older children(ages4-up) can undo them easily. These are on the outside of your cabinet/door so they aren't all that attractive. Use interior locks if you're worried about defacing your doors. We used them on oven doors, cabinets etc. They'd also work for the refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. doors. They have done the job well.
