Love, love, love this product. After buying a new house we needed a snow pusher. We got this and had a big snow. And it made cleaning the snow so easy! You need very little effort to push away the snow with this. It works the best with fresh snow, but is also good with hardened snow. It is very sturdy and a very good design. It will save your back if you have to clean a ton of snow. My toddler also had fun with helping :)

I was able to use the Ivation Heavy Duty Snow Pusher this past week, and was truly impressed. I have been researching at high end snow pushers for a couple of years of years, and decided to try this one out. It had a good price as compared to other similar/not so similar types of pushers and shovels. I paid around $65 for this snow pusher, and it was money well spent. I was able to clear my drive, a neighbors, my girlfriends, and her neighbors drive and sidewalk, in two days. The two days was my choice. I could have done it in one day but didn't want to drive in the snow. I got between 6-8 inches of snow total last Friday, and I shoveled pushed my drive 3 times, with very little effort. I shoveled my neighbors drive when it was about 5 inches (double drive, 50 feet on a steep incline) with slightly more effort (received 2 lbs shelled walnuts in recompense for my efforts). I am not dreading snow now. I always shovel my drive when it snows. Why? I don't know. It is something I feel is my duty as a man. Now for the actual review of the snow pusher. When I got the package, I opened it up and started to put it together. Followed the instructions (which is slightly unusual for me) and found they had sent two wrong sized washers for the wheels. The very small set of instructions called for a washer on each side of wheel. I called customer service and left a message informing them of this problem. Was I going to wait for them to send me 2 washers to fix the problem? No, I was going to go up to the store and get a couple of washers to finish the job. .98 cents - job done. Never got a call back from customer service. Is it sturdy? Will it last? It is mostly plastic except for the handle. The plastic pieces are re-inforced with metal at all connections. The wear strip may have to be replaced in a few years. If you are in an area that gets more snow, wear strip replacement may be a yearly thing. It takes me about 5 years to wear out a snow shovel here in Kentucky. I think this Ivation snow pusher will last me several years. I would hate to think that I won't be able to use it from here on out. This snow pusher takes a lot of pain out of shoveling snow. I even took this out into my street to clear out the asphalt in front of my drive. Very little back strain with this snow pusher. The wheels really help. Speaking of wheels, they need to go on a certain way. If they are touching anything when you put them on, flip them around. It is not stated in the assembly instructions. If you live somewhere where you get a lot of snow, you may be pushing your drive a few times, as it snows. It will work fine for me here. Would I buy this again? Yes, I would. If I change my mind, I will re-visit this review and let you all know.

As an out of shape older lady I need something to clear my small driveway when I don't want to hire someone. This absolutely fits the bill. I cleared my 20 foot driveway, with about 2-3 inches of snow, in under 10 min. I could have done it with one hand ties behind my back. No bending, no straining. Because I was a bit skeptical, I chose a well rated one with a middle of the road price. This one does not pivot which is a feature found on some. For my purpose this is just fine. I have already recommended it to others that I know.

used it this morning and it works real well. I am a 69 year old woman and it was very easy to use.. It was difficult putting together. Bad instructions. My 26 yr old grandson put it together for me and he was having trouble. Also the box was coming apart. the tape was all loose and torn. Everything was in it and ok. All in all I really like it and very glad I got it.

This snow pusher is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I put it together myself and, though they sent extra parts and had me wondering if I left anything out, it was easy to assemble (although, my husband did have to fix a few screws - apparently I had some loose). We had 8 inches of snow here in Vermont, and I had no problem plowing my driveway with this. I literally plowed it - this works so well that you don't have to break your back to throw the snow; it just rolls right along like a plow. I wish we had bought this 15 year's ago when we bought the house - would have saved money on Chiropractor visits, massages, and heating pads from bad backs. Love this! And, unlike a snowblower, it's easy to store and doesn't cost anything to maintain. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

This snow pusher is outstanding! I actually bought two of them. The first was for my son in Utah - first house, first snowstorm, and the handle of the shovel he had was kind of a small triangle. So, I hopped onto Amazon & found this beauty. He loved it so much over the next two storms that I ordered one for my husband and myself in Idaho. The shovel is great! Hardly any effort on 6" of snow, some harder pushing on 12" of snow. No more backache! Assembly is not difficult, and for every nut & bolt required for assembly, there were extras. Highly recommend

I have a 48" powered snow blower for the heavy stuff but got this last year to clean up the little areas. This morning I cleared my 400' winding driveway using THIS snow pusher and an electric snow broom. The first 100' feet was the electric model and the last 300' feet (the worst parts of the drive) was done with this Ivation Snow Pusher. I finished the 300' FASTER and EASIER than I did the 100 with the electric model. This thing is perfect for the 3.5" drop we got here in Philly yesterday. Highly recommended and you can see in the pics the results. I ended up going side to side since this item does PUSH the snow and it will build up in front and then slide to the sides. Cleared a 10' wide slice at a time using one hand. Having a bad back and a long drive is a bad combination ... but this Snow Pusher is a total game changer.

IM getting up there in years, and lifting heavy shovels of snow is just not happening. This lets you push the snow out of the way pretty effortlessly, as long as you keep up with it. I would go out every 2" we got and shovel the drive. We got 10" in one day, but with keeping up with it, the snow removal was pretty effortless. Now I wish there were an easier way to dump the snow out of the shovel at the end of a row, that takes some effort, especially if the snow is over a few inches deep or your row is very long. I found if I used shorter rows, it was easier to dump the snow at the end, so I did my driveway horizontally instead of vertically. But it WORKED!

This thing is a life (back) saver. I live in the mountians in VA where we can get some pretty nasty winters. After our most recent storm of 24" of snow, I decided to buy this snow pusher. Sure enough, about a week and a half later we had another storm come through that dropped about 9". The tool is well made and seems to be very durable without being very heavy, bulky, or difficult to operate. That being said, it is designed to move at most 4-5" deep snow, and you don't want to try to push anything deeper than that. I went out and used it once it got to about 4" deep and then did it again once the snow had stopped. It is a great tool to move the snow around, but you'll still need to use a shovel to lift any snow. The only downfall to this scoop is that when you make a pass with this, it clears the path ahead but pushes some of the snow off to either side, so you need to make a few easy passes to displace any leftover snow on the sides. If there was one area for improvement, I would suggest having an insert that you could put on either end of the pusher to "wall off" one end where the leftover snow would all go to the opposite side. Overall, while this isn't exaclty cheap for a shovel, I found that it is a very sturdy and wise investment for making snow removal MUCH easier than the old method of lifting and scooping for hours on end

I live at 9,000' elev in Colorado and get around ten feet of snow from mid Oct through mid May. The big / wet & heavy hitters being in the Springtime, so we will see how it does then (it is mid January now), but so far I love this snow pusher. I have about 2,000 sq ft of exposed concrete to clear and I used to do it all by hand with a snow shovel. This rolling gizmo has made a significant decrease on the amount of time needed to remove the snow, and it is easier to push the snow than it is to lift it - much easier on my back. It was easy to assemble and all the hardware was included - my carton even had some extra bolts and nuts, probably by mistake but extra nonetheless. Structurally, it seems pretty beefy and is lightweight enough to keep it out of the way but handy to grab when I need it.
