Closest to salt taste I've ever run across. I dipped a bit on my wet fingertip and the taste was very strong, wow. A little goes a long way and it's ZERO sodium. If you taste it directly, there's a very minor aftertaste. If you sprinkle it on food, the aftertaste is gone. Remember, cook salt free and add this right before consumption, then you'll need less of it and the food flavors will be enhanced the most.

i have high BP. this tastes almost as good as sodium salt. i tried every type of substitute - this is the best.

Snake juice. Get shredded to the bone.

Arrived quickly and as expected. They are exactly what I need to do my "snake diet".

While this tastes absolute awful (Salt substitute? I don't think so) it certainly does a great job replenishing potassium lost due to a natural diuretic. I tried disguising the flavor in various ways and finally settled on adding a 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon (depending on the need of the day) to half a glass of chocolate milk. It still doesn't taste good but it beats the awful cramps that low potassium can cause. A sip of 'unadulterated' chocolate milk afterward helps me get any remnants of the flavor out of my mouth. I am still looking for a better solution - one that is also less calorie intensive :(

I have been using NoSalt for decades. There is no after taste or anything that hints that this is a substitute. It flavors food the same as salt, and tastes just like salt. I have recommended this product to many, many people. For some unknown reason, I can no longer find NoSalt in any of my local stores, even the grocery store I've purchased this item from, again, for decades. I'm so glad it's still available.

My doctor recommended using potassium instead of sodium for salt needs. This does have a slightly different taste, but it is especially good for baking or cooking. The grains are very fine, so you have to be careful and not pour it in too much.

For some odd reason, potassium chloride salt is hard to find in the stores around where I live. I did have some Morton's No-Salt, and the shaker was close to being empty, so I thought I would try Amazon. I was about to buy a 6-pack of Morton's when I saw NoSalt, and decided to try it instead, as the price was a bit better. I use this salt not because I want to cut down on sodium, but because I want to increase my intake of potassium. If I am cooking something, I use regular sodium chloride salt. However, it's NoSalt that I reach for when at the dinner table. I also use this as an electrolyte balancing water, especially after working out in the yard. So how does this compare to the Morton's? They are virtually the same, but the taste of the NoSalt is perhaps a tiny bit better. Keep in mind that the taste is not quite the same as sodium chloride, but it's a nice "salty" taste. If you are looking for a sodium alternative, or if you would like a type of potassium supplement, I do recommend NoSalt.

I started a ketogenic diet about two months ago and have seen great results however about a month in, I was besieged by muscle twitching and spasm that would be off and on all day and night. Not a problem as much during the day but they started making awfully difficult to sleep at night. Accordingly, I started experiencing persistent fatigue and anxiety during the day and struggled during the night. Finally saw my doctor, got some labs done but she ultimately prescribed a mild muscle relaxer but I started to do my research and discovered that I likely was dealing with an electrolyte issue. Sure enough, labs came back that I had low potassium. Instead of another prescription, I purchased No Salt and started sprinkling 1/2 tsp or so each time I filled my water bottle. It was enough to detect a trace of it but not enough to make it too salty. A week later, the twitches and spasm are almost all gone and I’ve been able to get consecutive nights of good sleep! This stuff is great! It tastes just like salt, I have not attempted to cook with it, but honestly, I am good just using it in my water. FYI, I fill it up 3 times a day. Highly recommend this to help resolve muscle issues.
