Fast finger print recognition, accurate reading.
Great lock Easy to install with just a screw driver if you do not want to add the extra security screw. Measure the set backs and clearances before you order. Easy to program. Write down the master admin code. Fingerprint addition is easy. Good instructions. Fingerprint recognition is fast and accurate. If your finger is very clean or you have low profile fingerprints, recognition may not work. Then use the numeric code. If some one is watching, embed the code in a string of numbers and the door opens. One drawback. Long fake fingernails will parvent adding or reading fingerprints as the reader pocket limits how far the finger can be inserted. But that makes placement of your finger more accurate. Reads a fingerprint 99% of the time on the first try. All my doors will soon have this lock.

Update: piece of garbage! Amazing door handle, No key required!
About four or five months after we were using this doorknob it would say that the door is unlocked but it wouldn't undo the latch now it's getting worse and worse we're going to replace it and I'm currently working with Amazon to help solve the problem because this company refuses to respond to me so avoid this product like the plague. I absolutely love my new door knob! The handle feels smooth and solid in your hand. Very comfortable to open and close. The finger print and code entry work well, but like others I recommend entering your fingerprint 2 or 3 times to account for variation in your finger position. It's just so nice to not have to fumble for keys, or worry about getting keys to people! You can simply make a code and then delete it when you want to eliminate access with that code. What more could you want? I highly recommend this keyless door handle!

Great for the Kids! They'll never lose their key!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LOCK! This lock is made with high quality materials and looks great! Fingerprint access is fantastic! My teenagers will never lose their key again! More importantly, they can't give a code or hidden key to their friends. I love how it immediately locks when the door shuts too. (which can be programmed to stay unlocked if you have guests in and out, like for a party for instance) As far as the fingerprint acceptance rate, I haven't had much trouble. I agree with previous posts that programming 2 fingers or 2-3 different positions is probably a good idea, though I haven't done that yet. I've found that if I get my finger slightly wet, then wipe it off, I have 99% 1st try acceptance. So a quick lick and wipe works for me. Strange I know. LOL I've been extremely happy with this lock and my guests are really impressed when they see me "fingerprint in". #BondJamesBond

Broke after 10 months but the customer support was great..
Update: Contacted customer support and got a response within a few hours. They had been responsive. Issue determined to be the "clutch". I received the replacement part within 3 business days. The installation was pretty straightforward. Happy to report that the issue is no longer occurring. worked OK for 10 months. I was satisfied with the product despite the fact that sometimes the door would not unlock using finger print, but the code worked every time. Recently, i started experiencing a new problem. most of the time neither finger print nor correct 4 digit code would open the door. I hear a beep indicating the code/fingerprint is accepted but something is not engaging to release the lock. From what I read, customer service is almost non-existent. If you are looking for a reliable door lock, look elsewhere.

I really like this thing
I hardly ever write reviews but I really like this lock. The hardware is solid enough, it is aesthetic and not difficult to install. Lets get something out of the way though...it is quirky... despite its quirks I still love the thing. I am using it on an exterior side door which enters my garage. I have a second door with a deadbolt that allows entry to my house. I got this bc I have three kids and I'd prefer not to have a single garage door code that can be given out...shared...etc. I bought this solely for the fingerprint scanner. I have my mine, and the three kids fingerprints programmed. So...the $100,000 question....does the fingerprint scanner work? Yes..absolutely. Does it work like your phone's fingerprint scanner...no. Is it quirky...yes. Are their tricks to make it work better...yes. First, I'd say it works 50% on the first try, then mostly on the second sometimes three and occasionally it wants battle you with more. Here is the thing...and I was really hung up on this when making my purchasing decision. It really doesn't matter that much. It has never locked me out and for me, the fact that my kids can get in and don't need to carry a key or use a static code it is worth it. If it fails to read the first time, you just do it again. It takes a couple seconds. I used to spend more time fumbling for my keys than it takes to try or retry the fingerprint scanner. It becomes kind of a game with me and the kids. If one fails the other tries. There is a little skill to it so we try to one up each other. Lastly it is just so cool to have a biometric door lock everyone who sees it is always impressed. As to the tips and tricks. There are 3 major ones. First, placement. The closer you get to the original placement the more accurate it is. I use my thumbs and put the tip of my thumb on the top ridge to gauge. Second, pressure and third moisture. It needs them both. When it got cold and my hands were very cold/dry accuracy took a nose dive until figured out that if I blow on my finger to give is a little moisture it helps a lot. Also get aligned and put a little pressure down and that will hep too. All told I have had it for a few months now and even with its quirks it has been one of my favorite purchases as of late.

Great smart lock! + (FIX FOR PEOPLE HAVING TROUBLE WITH IT NOT RECOGNIZING YOUR FINGERPRINT)
I truly love this thing! I was initially just checking out how much a lock that doesn't require a key would cost. After thinking about it, I think if the only option was typing in a code each time then that would be aggravating. Plus, many of them require at least 8 digit codes oddly enough. I quickly started to realize most of the "smart" locks on here looked very questionable and not worth taking a chance with the only thing between my house and someone that wants to get in. I got lucky and got this one used on here for a little less and took a chance and bought it. I wasn't initially looking to spend over $100 on a lock but the more I looked at the more I realized I wanted a fingerprint sensor and a quality lock. It was easy enough to install. I'd say maybe 45 mins. From the other reviews I was expecting the install to be seriously complicated but it's really only 1) drill a couple holes with the included drill bit using the included stencil 2) screw in about 8-10 screws 3) plug in a plug 4) put the batteries in and you're good to go. (FIX for people having trouble with it not recognizing your fingerprint) As far as the actual use goes... I found the fingerprint sensor to be pretty dead on. My girlfriend did have problems with it and it would take her several tries. THE FIX for this problem is to program your same finger several times each in a slightly different position. Since it requires your finger to be in the exact same position as it was when you programmed it, programming the same finger several times in slightly different positions works like a charm (Since every time you put your finger on the imprint reader you're likely to do it differently each time). You do this like you would to add a new user except instead of a new user its your finger in a different position. You do that about 4 times and you're good to go. The lock looks really nice and very high quality. The parts seem to be pretty solid. I like that it doesn't light up until you touch it. Someone seeing it for the first time would be confused as to how you get in with no key hole (which is a good thing). I was really happy that the handle was able to be facing either left or right. I found that wasn't something all of these locks offered. It lights up fairly bright so you shouldn't have any problem seeing the numbers or the fingerprint sensor. It states that when the batteries start to get low it will give you a warning but even then you can use it another 1000 times before the batteries actually die. It comes with 3 keys (the key hole is under the lock, bottom side), the option to program up to 99 different codes, and 99 different finger prints. You also have the ability to delete users as well. I program it each Thursday so my cleaner can get in to clean my house and then on Friday I delete it. Truthfully, I didn't think I'd like having the fingerprint sensor but now that I've had it for over a month I couldn't imagine not having it. It's so convenient plus other people think it's unbelievable when they first see it. I really couldn't find any CONS about the lock. I have basically given up on reviews with all the people getting paid to write them so I decided I will start writing real reviews. Hopefully real people will start doing the same since it's what made this site so amazing.

Awesome product. Sturdy as well!
This is not a deadbolt but you do have to replace your deadbolt to install it. I worried about this but I beat on the door and give it a few slight kicks and the door stayed nice and locked. I trust this will hold up well. One word of advice. Buy the hole filler that is a option to buy with this and save your self a trip to home Depot.

BUYER BEWARE!
This is 100% my fault and no one else's, but make sure if you are looking for the Alexa compatible lock, you must purchase the Ultraloq UL3 BT! Make sure it says (BT). I had not noticed this and ended up purchasing the much cheaper, non bluetooth version. Anyway- on to the review. This lock is as cool and as well built as they come. The lock feels strong and sturdy and the technology seems very futuristic. The fingerprint doesn't lag EVER. Some reviewers were saying to wipe your finger on your forehead to get moisture on your fingertips so the sensor could get a more accurate reading. For me, this never was the case. It always got it right on the first time. It's so fast and convenient to come in and out of the house now. Installation: I'm pretty positive it likely would have only taken an hour to install, but me, a young guy who has never changed a door knob in his life, it took 5 hours. Once I realized how simple everything was though I knew it would be done faster. My family primarily uses the finger print reader (its the coolest, duh) but we do use the pin sometimes (which you can program to be up to SIXTEEN digits long if you want). I know this lock is not intended to be used alone as a front door lock, but that is how I use it. Please be sure to buy a separate door chain or any other form of lock. Now that your door has no deadbolt, it is also easier to kick in. PROS: -Super great finger print reader lock -very sturdy metal and is overall very attractive -Storage of up to 95 pins and 95 fingerprints CONS: -Honestly it works as intended, so no complaints.

Low battery issue -DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! HAND TIGHT ONLY!
Low battery issue explained below. I have both the bluetooth version on my front door and the NON bluetooth on my back door. So I ordered an Asuvo fingerprint door unlock but it kept giving me this low battery issue so I switched to ultra loq but it did the exact same thing. No matter how many times we switched the batteries or reset them. But the issue got fixed with some trouble shooting from me amd my husband. There are three bolts on the ultra loq that if you get more than hand tight, it will ALWAYS read low battery. I realized this was the same issue on the avuso as well. The pics listed abover show the 3 screws not to over tighten. The last picks also show the avuso and you pretty much see the ones not to over tighten on it. Afterrrr these issues got resolved I would give a 10/10. Batteries should last for years. Mine have. (Didn't use stock batteries cause I thought there was an issue with them cause of the low battery)

AMAZED. Instructions are vague.
Works as advertised. It is expensive but worth it. The reviews saying there are fingerprint reading problems have valid concerns. The problem is the angle/way in which you originally register your fingerprint will continuously affect how it reads the fingerprint. This can lead to issues if say you put your finger a little bit more forward than the original register. So there's that. aside from this, I wipe the sensor often. The instructions are vague. If you have experiencing repairing or taking things apart your common sense should take care of the rest. very important note: I reinstalled this atleast 4 times. I had an issue, i was able to push and pull the door completely rendering a lock useless. The bolt would not fully inserting/make contact. I removed the obstruction, that solved the problem.
