Carpet is very clean, lifted stains very well, low odor

The product left the carpet feeling very clean and looking bright. Stains lifted very nicely with very little pretreatment and did not come back as they commonly do when cleaning with a carpet machine. I purchased the spot treatment spray along with the shampoo as recommended for pretreatment and I am glad that I did. There was a very light scent while cleaning that dissipated very quickly even before the carpet was completely dry. This was important to me because I have a 3 month old who needed to sleep in the room I was cleaning later that night. The product left the carpet nice and soft; not stiff like some other cleaners I have tried. Very happy with the results.

Glad I bought it

Bought a new Bissell carpet and upholstery cleaner and I used Puracy cleaning solution instead of the Bissell one that it came with. I'm happy to report it worked well removing the stains from my carpet, mattress, and upholstery! It also doesn't leave a chemical smell and I feel better about the ingredients in the Puracy product for my family's health and the environment. Glad I bought it and I would recommend it to others.

Love this carpet shampoo

This is a great carpet shampoo. I have a white shag rug that I kept neglecting; until one day I realized it was just flat out dirty from the heavy traffic in that area. I used this carpet cleaner and although I had to scrub in circular motion with a little bit of strength, I only had to do it for about 5 mins or so. I did follow the instructions carefully as I read other reviews that mentioned the amount of foam that this shampoo created. It worked perfect for me! And after 5 mins of scrubbing, my carpet as a good as new! I was amazed. And I still have almost a full bottle of the carpet cleaner left over. Its like 2 tbls of carpet cleaner in 12 1/2 cups of water. I had to scrub twice --- again I had not cleaned my carpet in a whileeee. If you see you carpet getting slightly dirty, just spot clean and you wont have to do this twice. it really does work great!

It’s legit!

I was extremely impressed by this carpet cleaner. It picked up a ton of dirt even though I had just cleaned with some solution from the store a week or two prior (we have a puppy that has yet to learn to not pee on the carpet). Our carpet is brighter and smells cleaner than it did with other cleaners. A word for the wise, follow the dilution instructions precisely. Instructions say to use one ounce with 100 ounces water. I added way too much and had to rinse my carpet a dozen times. My fault for not following directions. Follow the directions, and it works like a charm! Plus, 1 ounce of this for about a gallon of water… I anticipate it will last a very long time.

Great product!!!!

Unfortunately, I didn’t take any before pictures, but to give you an idea as to what the rug was looking like, I have a 5 year old dog and added a 60lb 6 month old puppy last week. It’s been rainy and there’s red clay in the backyard. Between the mud and wet dog smell, the rug had seen better days.... this product got the smell and stains out in one treatment. The smell isn’t overpowering(I added some lemon essential oil to make it stronger) and the product works GREAT! I used about 1/3 of the bottle(didn’t realize that i was supposed to dilute it) and I will definitely be reordering so that I always have it on hand....

I am a professional carpet cleaner this product works. However we use it as a pre-spray. It will last alot longer using it this way.

Great Product for Indoor Allergy Sufferers

I decided to try this carpet shampoo because I love the Puracy laundry detergent and stain treatment products. I was also quite pleased with how this freshened up the carpet. I rented a rug doctor machine and it worked great. Very little fragrance, which I love, but because we have pets the carpet smelled like wet dog for about a day as the carpet dried. Maybe as the enzymes break down the pet proteins it releases the odor into the air? Our carpet is only a couple years old and the wet dog smell only occurred for a short time the day after shampooing, not immediately after which I also thought was odd. Also, last time I cleaned the carpet (about six months ago) using another brand of shampoo there wasn't a dog smell afterwards. Not sure what the cause was, but once completely dry the house smells fresh and clean again. Even if you get down on the floor and smell the carpet you can't detect any odor. The carpet looks newer too which is the best part, fluffier and fresher with a restored softness. As someone with allergies and pets, I really love the lack of overwhelming fragrance in Puracy products and how clean this left my floors. Nothing cleans as well as enzymes! The only criticism I could give is that I wish the directions included how much to use per gallon, so that I didn't have to figure it out myself based on ounces.

Really works great with no smell or residue

Works better than any chemical carpet cleaner and it is non toxic. Put a tablespoon in a bucket and fill with water...get a brush and quickly brush carpets while also putting liquids deep into carpet. Vacuum up water and soap. Spray carpets with a thorough mist of water and vacuum one more time. Good as new with no smell or residue.

Great product will order again

I previously have been cleaning my carpets with vinegar and this stuff definitely works better. It might take a couple runs to get my carpet looking really good but to be fair my carpet is really really dirty. The carpet shampoo appears to do a good job of sucking up dirt as the water is really really dark despite me just cleaning the carpet frequently and several weeks prior to using this product for the first time. Glad I ordered this product will order again in the future. Does not have a strong scent and I find that nice as I do not like the strong smells of carpet cleaning solutions

Outstanding product !

We used this product to clean my parents carpet that was put in 10 months ago. My my was itching all over her body with major skin reactions from the new carpet . Once the carpet was cleaned with this organic natural properties, her itching stopped the same day! My mom has been so Much more comfortable since . And it smells fresh & clean! Highly recommend it !
