BE WARNED! THESE DICE CAN INSPIRE FRIGHT!!!
These dice are pretty good. Now that I've been using them and writing down the combinations that I roll out I realize I would like some more dice for unique options for even stranger stories. But these dice are excellent for what they were made for. Young people will enjoy using these to fall in love with storytelling. The brave will find that these dice can create stories with just a toss. But be very careful with these dice as they can inspire stories that will frighten, and maybe even induce nightmares...depending on the storyteller and the story they weave. GREAT DICE!

Loved this!
Loved this!!! I am using this to help 3rd graders write stories and use their imagination. You do have to have the chart that comes with it so they can tell what some of the picks represent which is no big deal. All kids like to write scary stories soo this was really fun for t hem.

We love this. I bought this game and the Story ...
We love this. I bought this game and the Story Time Dice to play with my 5 and 6 1/2 yr old grandkids because they love making up stories and writing books, my 3 yr old granddaughter even joins in, of course she doesn't understand exactly what everything means on the dice but it is fun to see her little mind work :)

Great dice
Awesome story dice. My son loves Halloween and he loves telling stories, so these are perfect. The dice come with a guide telling what each picture is (which is great because there are a couple pictures I couldn't figure out), and ideas for how to tell a story. We combine these with other sets sometimes to make it even more elaborate.

Must own this story game
My 7 year old son loves anything scary, so these were perfect! I find they help teach the elements of stories well. You have the setting, the protagonist (hero), antagonist (monster), the climax and the resolution. We sometimes reverse the story and tell it from the antagonist's point of view too. They don't glow as well as I had hoped and the pictures of the tools are so small that sometimes you have to use the paper which lists all the pictures to get an idea what the tool is. That's not an issue for us because everything else about these dice are perfect. I highly recommend.

I like them
Just plain neat. Bigger dice then the rory's story dice and different shapes and feel. The only thing you have to know is that these dice tend to be more defined, by which I mean they tell you which dice is the plot, which is the villain, etc.. where the rory's story dice let you decide that.

Great!
I bought these to go along with our Rory's Story Cubs. We use these to help my son with his expressive language disorder. These are great addition and they make the game/lesson really fun :) Side note: They arrived a few days late but it could of been Amazons fault as a bunch of my other items did too.

Great Fun
My boys LOVE using these. We set around campfire style and use the dice to tell scary stories in the round after dark. Little do they know that we play with these dice to help them improve their storytelling skills for their writing projects at school.
