I waited for a few years for a back up camera, being these things were expensive initially. Key to me was a camera that was small and inexpensive as this was going on a Corvette. I will say this camera is amazing. It works as well as a GM stock camera on my other vehicle, and is almost noticeable; truly the size of a large caliber bullet! I have recommended it to a few other of my Corvette buddies who have also bought it and loved it!

I just installed this camera in the hitch of my 2016 Jeep Wrangler with a PAC interface and my factory 530N radio. The camera works great right out of the box. I tested it with a small 12V led acid battery and pugged into the green component input of one of my TVs. Worked great right out of the box. The only issue I had was in several locations on this site and their website, they have the color code wrong for the loops wires. I wanted to make it a backup camera, and I didn't want the backup lines. I looked the color code that was incorrect and cut the green wire to reverse the view. I cut it flush, which is my fault, because I would only ever use it as a backup camera. Well, that was the wire for backup lines, so now I'm stuck with the lines because the wire is too shorts to solder back. Other than that, it's great! Just make sure you just snip the loop wire instead of cutting it completely off like I did.

Good quality camera for an unusual low price. I have not yet mounted it in my motor bus but have powered it up on my work bench and I beleave it will do the job. I also am thinking of making it mountable near my fuel tank door on the right side so that I can line up with the fuel pump when I stop for fuel as the fuel door is 37 feet behind the drivers position.

Picture quality is decent for a $22 camera. Color is good but a little grainy. Actually not that different than the factory backup camera on my 2017 F-150. I flush mounted it in the plastic piece just to the left of the handle on the rear of a 2007 Sienna. Looks very professional flush mounted. Don't forget to cut the jumpers if you mount it in the rear, otherwise you pic is reversed. Camera itself looks sturdy and well built. Much better than one of the license plate models I had bought previously for around the same price.

Wanted a front view camera for my truck for parking and this camera works and looks great in my grill just under my Chevy bow tie emblem. Gave it 4 stars for material quality because mounting bracket seems a little soft. I had to bend it a little to fit, but it was very easy to bend. Hopefully nothing hits it too hard and beaks mount. Can’t say how good the picture quality is because the monitor picture is not the best (Chuanganzhuo 3.5”) but exactly what I needed, small and not distracting since I only use it for parking. You can have the guide lines on or off. If you want the lines just cut the green wire. Make sure you want the lines because the wire is so thin it would be very hard to connect them together again. The 20” RCA video cable was plenty long enough to reach the monitor. With it paired with the monitor I purchased I was able to power camera with my fog lights. The monitor has constant power from the cigarette lighter I connected it to, but won’t turn on unless it sees a video signal. So if I want it on I turn on my fog lights, turns off when I turn fog lights off. Not constantly on and no extra on off switch to install.

This is the second Jeep I have put this camera in - it is great! Easy to mount (I 3d printed a mount that goes in the receiver hitch) and the day and night images are clear and bright. A bit of fisheye but all wide angle view cameras get that. Backup lines and reversing image by cutting the correct wires. I would buy this again (and probably will)!

This is the second time that I have purchased this camera. Not because The other one was bad, but because I put this camera in another car. So now I have two cars both with the same camera. I like this camera, since i have had this since 2017 and it is still working great. The scratch marks on the metal part of the camera were my fault. If I didn’t scratch it, it would still be perfect. Old review 2 years ago: I already installed one this install went a lot quicker. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a back up camera. Sorry, my car is really dirty I need to watch it. LOL

Camera is fine - the bundle of features and cables and bits is great - but I had a manufacturing defect on the unit I received. The white wire was wired to the gridlines, while the "blue" wire (which looks more green, really) was the one wired to reverse the image for rear-view usage. I had to troubleshoot a bit to figure this out, and I needed to cut both wires (which I didn't want to do) to figure this out. In the end, I re-wired one of the little 24 gauge wires to get it set up correctly. So I had to subtract one star in this review. But it's a cheap camera, and it comes with everything you need to install it: cables, connectors, stickers, a drill bit matched to its diameter (which is really quite impressive that it's included), etc. - so I'll give it a solid recommendation to anyone looking for a camera to use in their vehicle.

Great picture and came with all kinds of parts and tools to help install the camera in many different scenarios! Be aware that if you're using this to replace a pre-installed backup camera that went bad like I did you'll probably have to cut off the RCA jacks on this setup and splice the wires to the existing cable. I just matched all the colors on this cable to the existing wire colors and it worked great! The wires straight out of this camera are BK, RD, YL, BL, GN, and WH. I only used the POS and NEG wires (BK & RD), the video wire (YL), and the white wire. My view ended up being correct and I see the backup lines as I did before. Hope this helps anyone swapping out their existing backup camera. Mine was installed by a shop only 4 years ago and already had gone bad. Glad this was on amazon and was a great price! I'll try to remember to update this review in a couple years to let everyone know if its still holding up! Take care, Jesus loves you!

Great product. Used it to add a back up camera to my JK navigation system screen. Just bought this, a male to male adapter and the harness for the nav. I had a small issue with the image being reversed. I emailed the manufacturer, got an instant reply, and it fixed the issue right away. Need to cut one of the attached wire loops. The reason for this is so it can be used as a forward facing camera instead, if you do not cut the wire. Even the drill bit was of decent quality. You can also choose wether to have the back up lines in view or not. Again, just cut one of the wire loops and your done. Good picture day and night time. The cable was plenty long enough to run from the camera, up through my roll bar and to the nav with still a little to spare. Very happy with this camera. Whole camera system cost less than $45. You will need the dealer to flash the nav to let it see the camera. I did this along with a recall Chrysler had sent out so it was just a 10 minute "add-on" job. Recommended
