• Securely hold your camera to the tripod to film or shoot at different angle, less rigidness, more flexibility.
  • Swivel ball joint to ensure 360 degree horizontal rotating fluid movement when adjusting the angle.
  • Rubber-padded mount with a 1/4" screw to protect your camera from protential scratches between your camera and the mounting part.
  • Can be used with many brands of DSLR camera such as Nikon,Canon,Pentax etc. or Smartphone or Action Camera such as Gopro.(Need to purchase adapter additionally for smartphone or action camera)
  • Better compatibility with an included 1/4" to 3/8" screw and an industrial standard 1/4" female thread at the bottom allows for mounting to most tripods or light stands.

I bought a Neewer brand adjustable articulating mic stand arm that attaches by clamp to a counter or table. I wanted something that could capture POV shots of products that I'm working with from my eye level that I could mount my iPhone or my Osmo pocket to. The arm is perfect for that purpose but is meant for a microphone. This little ball joint was exactly the piece I needed to make it come together and use it the way I wanted. it's VERY high quality and sturdy and versatile and does exactly what I need! See pics for my set up. I can definitely recommend. And yes, I paid full price for this!

Wow, is this thing sturdy or what. All metal, heavy as heck, indestructible! Great piece of work, but if you wanted something lighter, you should look elsewhere. That said, if you have a heavy item to be mounted, this will be for you!

I use this ball head on my light weight ape case monopod and the combination works well for light to medium weight cameras and lenses. My heaviest camera and lenses are an Olympus M5 micro 4/3 mirrorless camera with several light weight micro 4/3 lenses. So far so good; the ball head is much better made than I expected for the price. The ball head and monopod are a good light weight combination for travel or hiking with a backpack. Should also work well on a tripod.

This turned out to be a great buy. I was looking for a highest quality, or best of the worst mount with a dual swivel base w/build in level. This did not disappoint for the 21 spent. The knobs are sturdy and highly adjustable. It has a cool textured spray paint like grey or black tough coat almost smooth bed-liner.

I really needed it to hold my camera to film nail tutorials, I found my self surprised by the size because I thought it would be smaller but it isn’t, which is great because I needed something of good quality that would support the weight of my camera. I tried it as soon as it came in, and it is just fantastic! Will totally recommend to someone who needs it for overhead filming.

Surprising good small ballhead for the price. Mounted to my monopod to allow for flexibility in positioning while using the monopod. Do not think ballhead will hold my DSLR without the support of the photographer, such as on a tripod, but for a monopod it’s perfect, moves and locks smoothly

I ordered three pieces and this was one of them. All pieces fit perfectly for me to do my youtube(Sunny Modifier) videos! I created a stand to hold my phone/point & shoot for overhead shots of my Vegan recipes. I also do Reviews on my channel so this is great!

I’m using this in an unconventional way, made possible by the availability of a 3/8 thread in the base: at the end of a boom pool, to give me some pointing flexibility with some of my mics. It’s well built so I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for its intended purpose, but it does work great for my use case, too.

I'm using this to suspend a monopod perpendicularly from my tripod so I can film a top-down view of my table. I was concerned that because the wing nut is large that it would prevent it from mounting flush to my tripod, but that is not an issue. It feels well made and works for my purpose which is simply to use as a 90 degree adapter.
