Remarkably Powerful

A really good quality immersion blender. This device has power to spare when it comes to making a fantastically smooth soup. Easy to clean, good feel in the hands, and the whisk attachment is extremely handy when mixing batters, or meringues.

It does get the job done.

I bought this not thinking that it was going to be what I wanted it to be. Was I wrong, this blender gives me exactly what I wanted for half the price of others. Just treat it with care, cause it's not the best of quality but it will get the job done. I used it to blend my tomatoes for my tomato soup and it did a fantastic job. I havent used the wisker part yet but I am soon to make some brownies and then I will come back and add to my review.

Surprise after surprise. Great blender.

I totally did not expect that this blender would be so good especially for the low price. At first it seemed like the material was cheap and would fall apart, but no. It is very sturdy and the motor or packaging makes it quiet. I got this to replace a more expensive Oster which became unusable due to the motor shaft bending. The whisk is the best part of this. I use this almost every single day making waffles. I absolutely did not expect the whisk to last as it is a non-trivial packaging of gears.

Surprisingly good quality

I think I bought this originally for a gift last Christmas and ended up keeping it, so I've been using it for about a year. It is big and powerful and so far it has met the requirements for any job I needed it to do. The fit and finish are great and exceeded my expectations based on the low price of the unit. It can whip up any sauce, make a decent smoothie, and milk shakes are a piece of cake. I would recommend getting a steel cup to use with it. I haven't used the whisk. Overall, this hand blender is a very good value in my estimation.

If it lasts, best bang for your buck!

Does the job well. Have made some delicious, creamy soups with it and puréed sauce with it. You give it a go for a few seconds, pause, continue, pause. We tilt the pot to get it all through (8 cups of veggies in broth or so) and the process takes less than 5 minutes. Haven't timed it, but I'm quite sure it's 3-4 minutes. As a home cook that uses this 3-4x a week, I wouldn't pay another big premium for a larger motor to save one minute of time, if even that. This feels sturdy and does a great job. I don't look at fancier models thinking "I can't wait to upgrade" (though I mostly have top of the line kitchen gadgets and value them). Definitely worth the price if it lasts long enough and if it doesn't I'll update my star count.

Worth more than it cost!

This hand immersion blender is all, and more than I expected. It's a very good buy. It's well made and works superbly. It takes a little of getting used to but once you try it for a few times, the blender and you are going to be good buddies...

Very good value, great tool.

Great little tool for the kitchen, very portable and handy. Easy to clean. I thought it was going to be batter operated, but this is actually better. The little soup beater. Guacamole, mashed cauliflower, scramble eggs, there's no end to its possibilities in the kitchen.

Great Product at a Great Price

Can't believe how great a price this was for the product I received! It looks like something for a professional kitchen . I thought from the picture (and price) it would be flimsy, but it's very sturdy and well made. I feel like it will last for many years, and reminds me of the quality of my Kitchen Aide (which was quite a pretty penny more ;) I usually forgot to write reviews, but I wanted to for this one, because I think it's a really great product for the price. And note, I didn't receive this for any promotional discount or anything, just thought it would be fun to learn how to make a chia tea latte and someone recommended this.

I looked at a ton of products and read countless reviews before finally deciding to purchase this unit. Even the most expensive name-brand stick mixers get tons of bad reviews -- breaking, falling apart, failing, burning out, low quality materials, you-name-it. I needed a stick mixer for making soap -- sure, you can make soap without a stick mixer -- people have been doing it for a very long time -- however, it greatly shortens the time required to obtain "trace." Your choice: stand there mixing by hand for hours or use a stick mixer and get trace in a few minutes. This mixer works beautifully. I've never used it for anything besides making soap. I make about 3 cups of soap at a time. I don't know how well it would handle large batches of soap -- but it would probably work fine. One thing to remember, this unit (like all stick mixers) isn't a stand-along mixer that can be turned on and left on for extended periods of time. It's designed for quick mixing. Pulse a few times, use it to stir like a spoon, pulse a few times, stir, etc. Leaving it on for very long will likely burn out the motor. If you need a mixer than can be turned on and left on for an extended period of time, then you need something other than a stick mixer.

Great for when a stand mixer or processor is too much hastle.

For smaller quantities the power of stand mixer or processor is not needed, but the cleaning is still considerable. Wanted something quick and easy to clean. Bella has been excellent for pureeing soups and sauces. Power and speeds just right for small batches. Usually done in 1-2 minutes, so overheating not an issue. Both heads attach/detach solidly, are dishwasher safe and clean up well.
