Shampoo review from a pet groomer.
A friend of mine asked me to check this shampoo out for him and give a review. I'm a professional pet groomer so pet shampoo is serious business for me. I really like this shampoo! I bathed several dogs and my cat with it. First thing I noticed was the smell. It's very fruity and while it's not my favorite scent, it is pleasant. Even better is that the smell that stays on the dog after drying is very light even though the smell while lathering up is strong. Speaking of lathering, this stuff gives massive amounts of suds! My issue with a lot of shampoos that I get that aren't professional grade is that they're very dilute. If I'm bathing dogs for a living, I need a shampoo that I can either dilute or can use a small amount of. A little bit of this shampoo goes a loooooong way! This shampoo did a great job getting my dogs and cat clean. I used it on a black lab and the coat was very nice and glossy. I also found that this shampoo did a good job helping me get undercoat out in the tub. The key is to wet the dog and do a light shampooing, rinse that shampoo (you don't have to get it all out) then shampoo the dog again and really work it down to the skin. If you're treating a skin condition, let it sit for at least 5 minutes. The reason for the two shampoos is that the first one breaks the oil the dog or cat naturally has while the second shampoo is able to penetrate the coat more deeply and get to the skin. If you're only shampooing your dog once, you're not getting your dog nearly as clean as you could be. I like the results for my cat as well. She's 16 and has dandruff from not grooming herself as much as she used to. This product cleansed and conditioned her coat without leaving her greasy looking. The smell didn't bother her at all. The rich lather also helped me to release a bunch of coat and the finish was soft and clean. I'll be keeping this shampoo on hand and will be trying it out on any dogs I see with sensitive skin or hot spots. All in all, I think this is a great shampoo and you'll get a lot of uses out of it which makes it quite economical.

Finally found a dog shampoo that works on my sensitive, itchy puppy.
I have a black lab and beagle mixed rescue puppy with sensitive, itchy skin. He has a history of skin bumps and he scratches so much we're constantly checking him for fleas. I've tried a few different organic, sensitive-skin dog shampoos and we've gotten him to itch less with an oatmeal-based shampoo, but it didn't do anything for his "lab smell" and coat. So we gave this shampoo a try and loved what it made Kylo's dark coat shine. The smell is clean and not chemical, and he's not scratching. I would strongly recommend this product to any dog lover (it says you can use it on other pets as well).

Less scratching with one use!!
Our Toy Poodle Casper is always scratching. The Vet says it's either allergies to human food or dry skin. We used to give him eggs sometimes with his food as a treat and for a nice coat. We stopped doing that and he still scratched so it must be dry skin. He goes to the groomers every 4 weeks and they say they use an oatmeal shampoo for itchy skin, but he still scratches. We also give him one bath ,unless he has to have extra, in between with an oatmeal shampoo from our local pet store, but he still scratches. Then I found Pro Pet Works Hypoallergenic Shampoo. Because it claims to be all natural I thought we would try it, maybe this would work better than what we buy at the store or than what our groomer uses. Well, my husband bathed him for the first time and I could smell him from the bathroom. He came out running around after being towel dried and he smelled like cherry candy, I absolutely loved the smell. After I blow dried him and combed him out he smelled and looked beautiful, but the biggest thing was that he didn't seem to be scratching as usual. We watched him for a few days. He had the occasional scratch here and there, but nothing like normal for him. We were very pleased. Thank you for developing this product. We can tell Casper feels better and we feel better knowing he's not agonizing anymore with all that itching.

My service dog thanks you!
I got a chance to try this product, I really liked it! It can be used on so many different types of animals from rabbits to horses. I chose to use this on my dog and cat. The initial scent of the product is kind of off putting (smells like the black cherry car wash scent) BUT once its on the coat and rinsed out the coat smells amazing! This product does not dry out the coat or irritate the skin. I washed my animals and left the product in for the recommended 5 minutes. Their coats are nice and glossy and soft, great product! The dog is my girl Anabelle, she is a 4 year old beagle mix and my service dog, I love to bury my face in her fur when I'm upset, or when she's doing a task.. or just during cuddles and I'm in love with this product :)

Softens, and relieves itching.
I washed my shorthair cat with this shampoo, and she is so soft now. She has coarse hair and has dandruff like dander. It is very easy to see because she is a black cat. Her itching seems to have lowed and dander is a bit better. I'm hoping it gets less with more washing. I usually bath her every 2 to 3 weeks as she is a big girl and can't groom her hindquarters very easily. The scent is very strong straight from the bottle, but made her smell very pleasant.

Try it before you judge.
I have to be honest...when i first opened the bottle, the smell made me sick to my stomach. I can only describe the smell as that of cherry cough syrup. But i just spent $15 and the cats needed baths so i decided to use it. Seriously COULD NOT BELIEVE how much dirt came off the cats! I have 2 indoor long hair cats and my home is cleaned every day. That much dirt has never came off of them so it clearly did a much deeper clean than the cheaper stuff! Also, after washing them the smell somehow turned from awful to good. They seem pretty happy too! Their coats look so healthy!🤗

Very effective natural shampoo that kills fleas!
I needed a good, natural shampoo that kills and deter fleas. My yorkie looked like she had a couple of really itchy spots and I used this shampoo generously to cover her coat and let it sit for 5 min per directions. This shampoo also washes off very easily and you can tell when all the shampoo is washed off! When I was toweling her off and inspecting her itchey spots, I found one dead flea tucked in a hard-to-reach area!!! I am very happy with the result. This shampoo smells good and seems gentle on the skin! My dog has very dry flakey skin, and I have not seen too much dandruff since I used this shampoo.

No wet dog smell, no perfume smell, no itching
My dog was itching a lot, so I did some research and found this. It is a different kind of shampoo. Soap free. Anyhow, it did take less shampoo than I have to use with other brands, there was no over powering perfume smell, not even wet dog smell. The shampoo rinsed out really easy (usually takes a lot of rinsing), and his coat dried really fast. His coat was and remained much softer. When he starts itching again, I bathe him with this and it’s stops. I’m glad I found this. I still can’t believe there was no wet dog smell. The smell it does have is very mild and natural.

BEST Shampoo for Multilple animal households
First off this shampoo is AMAZING for multiple pet households! Yes it has a strong scent straight out of the bottle but afterwards there is NO fruity/floral scent, just a clean version of your animals scent (if that makes any sense?) I have a 100lb black King Shepard and he developed sensitive skin from a gluten/grain sensitivity and being allergic to flea saliva when they bite (yes I know it's weird). If a bite goes unnoticed for more than a day he will nibble and scratch at it toll he is raw. He is on a special diet and gets regular flea treatments but fleas will always find a way! Bath time for Koda is usually a 2 hour ordeal of washing twice and using 3 beach towels and a hair dryer (cool setting only) to get him completely dry (being wet/damp for long periods of time also irritates his skin). I washed him twice with this shampoo but from now on only one round is needed since it lathers like expensive shampoos you'd get at a hair salon! Drying time waa next to NOTHING; all he had to do was shake himself off and I did one thorough toweling that yeiled a slightly damp towel afterward (with minimal hair attached). He missed his toweling routine so much that he grabbed the other two towels and to have me "finish the job" lol I appeased his request but no water came off him! He was completely dry in less than 30 minutes! This shampoo also helped loosen the excess undercoat and his Furminator brush went through like a sharp knife in butter. He is short/medium haired and it's always been mostly course/dry feeling with or without baths, after this bath his fur is thick and soft and not coarse/dry. His skin looks AMAZING and the allergic reaction from the flea bites is gone, plus Koda isn't liking himself endlessly like he usually does after a bath. My cats is the same story except they HATE bath times lol they also do not have skin allergies like Koda but they get flakey dry skin during seasonal shedding. It usually takes a whole day before I'm able to use their Furminator brush but little more than an hour later they were COMPLETELY dry and this shampoo also helped loosen up their undecoats so much, that I got 2 cats worth of fur and dander off of EACH cat! BONUS: they are SOFTER than the plush blankets Costco sells during the holidays and they've never been this soft before. It is hard to see in pictires since all my animals are black, but their coats are super shiny and healthier after one bath with this shampoo! My animals are customers for life!

Life long customer
We adore this shampoo!! We have a staffy mix and they tend to have pretty bad skin allergies. She has to go in every 5 weeks to get an allergy shot. BUTT. When we started bathing her with this shampoo once a week, it has stretched the time between shots from 4-5 weeks to now 8-10 weeks apart. It helps with her itchy, dry skin. It reduces her dander to none and she is the softest staffy I have ever touched. Everyone who comes over always says how she never smells like “dog” and how she still feels like a puppy. 2 things I love! This is our second bottle and we are now subscribed to make sure we receive one every 4 months. You don’t use a lot when you are washing them. She is 60lbs and I use maybe two golden dollar size Dollops. It also got to us before the date it said it would be delivered, so that’s an added bonus.
