THREE times a Charm!

PLEASE read my review! This product is head and shoulders above the rest. Perfect really. I purchased TWO other magnifying glasses prior to this one and they were either TOO BIG, TOO HEAVY, Not enough power, Useless shape etc. THIS product gives you the best of all options. It's not too big, not too heavy and you can switch lenses depending on the situation. I noticed today that you CAN order 3 different lenses. I use mine EVERY DAY for either my iPhone 6 or iPod newest generation. SOooooooooo helpful. Although I don't need the LED lights much I keep the product nearby for a quick light for taking pills or other things such as FINDING my phone in the dark. HA ha. Seriously, this is THE product to buy. Don't be dumb and try to install 2 batteries just because that's what this battery compartment "looks like". READ the directions, 3 batteries please. They're EASY to install as are the other lenses. Manufacturer provides a quality lens cleaner and pouch as well. You CAN't go wrong with this one. DON'T buy the HUGE 2X product. It's TOO BIG and TOO heavy for almost any use. The tiny 10X bubble is useless in my opinion. Thanks for reading. Wish I had purchased this one FIRST! Nice quality magnifying glass

Just arrived today, and it's better than expected. For the price, this is a quality product! I've had many magnifiers that are "okay" at best, but this magnifier is a very nice optical product! It was very easy to install the batteries, I'm not sure why people have had trouble with it. It does need 3 AAA batteries, but that is VERY clear in the information. I had previously had another magnifier (at 2x the price of this one) that was very nice but it has "gone missing" in this house! That one did not have a light so this is even better. "Looking" forward to depending on this nice glass for all those times I need one! At my advancing age, those times come more often!! Nice that is comes with a storing "sac" to help keep is scratch-free!

The only magnifier my grandmother reaches for and uses successfully

I bought this for my grandmother who has macular degeneration as well as a few other issues which cause her vision to be a challenge. I wasn't expecting much and frankly was a little concerned that she could not change the lenses out on her own. Her doctor said a 10x magnifier would be best for her so I shopped for that. Having read that this was recommended to similar patients in the reviews and product information I took the chance. I am so glad I did. I ordered this at least a year ago or so, and to this day it's the first magnifier my grandmother will reach for when she wants to try to read something. My grandmother is very fussy and particular so I take it as no small complement to the makers of this helpful tool that she loves it and has raved about it at least a handful of times, each time saying it is the only one that works well for her and she can adjust it in any angle to get just the right reading. I strongly recommend this item (and Company) and I would certainly buy it again with no hesitation. Having challenged vision is not easy, but this gadget makes it much easier for my grandmother to feel some measure of help and control to try to read. I'm all for it. Read through the reviews and responses. I think you, too, will see this is worth the investment when needed.

UPDATED REVIEW

This product only worked for about 3 months,and then the light stopped working. (Yes, I replaced the batteries). Loved it while it worked, but disappointed in the short lifespan. I can still use the magnifying glass, but have to use a small flashlight to illuminate some of the small print. UPDATE: iMagniphy contacted me and pointed out that there is a LIFETIME Warranty on their products. They were concerned that their product was not working correctly and that they had not achieved customer service. They immediately sent out a replacement magnifying glass that is working great. I am SOOOO impressed with their concern for customer satisfaction and the quality of their products. It works great and makes my life so much easier to have a magnifying glass with a light that is so easy to use and so comfortably designed. I will absolutely use this vendor again and will tell me friends of the product itself.

I am so glad I bought this magnifying glass! I love it!

This is the best magnifying glass I have ever had. I really only use the large magnifier but I like that the diameter is just the right size. I was worried that it wouldn't be as big as I wanted. Once I started using it, I found the large magnifier was the perfect size. I was worried it might be too heavy but it's very light and I like that too. However, I don't hold it for long periods of time for reading. Usually I only use it for a few seconds or a minute or two but it's not heavy to hold. I wasn't sure if I would really use the light or not, but I actually have used it several times and it really helps. I really love this magnifying glass. I don't use the small magnifier but if you worked on stamps or something else that was tiny print, perhaps I would use it. I just don't have a need for the smaller magnifier, but I have it if I would need it in the future.

Best Customer Service You'll Ever Find

The product is great. I gave it to my 94 year old mother. She doesn't have strong hands but she is able to handle this glass easily. The LED lights on the underside provide focused illumination, which is as necessary as the magnification for someone with poor vision. The small 10x lens is actually large enough to use for reading a book. The competitive products only had small quarter size or smaller spots of higher magnification. Lenses are easy to change, secure when attached. the handle has a great grip and the overall weight of the glass is very manageable. Saving the best for last. The very day the glass was delivered I received a cheerful email from the company checking to see if the glass was in good working order and if I was happy with it. I explained it was a gift for my mother and I'd get her personal review after she tried it out. A few weeks after she received it, one of the two LED bulbs went out. Mom was still using it, but she had really enjoyed the light from both bulbs. LED bulbs, particularly small ones, are fragile and it's easy to see how there might be a defect or error in manufacturing, but I was still very happy with the product. I emailed the company only to see if I might get a replacement bulb or get the info necessary to track down a replacement on my own. I wrote the email on a Saturday night because that's when I remembered to do it. Imagine my surprise in a couple of hours when I got a reply from a human being, not an auto-responder. He was not in a third world call center. He asked for the address to send a complete replacement glass, without even expecting me to return the one with the bad LED. What?? I was flabbergasted. This company answered me personally, in a couple of hours on a weekend, not days or weeks, and wanted to send a free replacement without even being asked? He did it, too. That was several months ago and all the LEDs in the new glass are still working just fine, the lenses still interchange easily and often, while my Mom does NY Times crossword puzzles (at 94). Thanks to iMagniphy, she can enjoy activities that require magnification, which is about everything for her. I don't believe I've ever been the recipient of this kind of personal customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any product they sell. If they go public, I'll buy stock. Any company as concerned with ensuring a successful product experience for their customers as this company is deserves to be successful. Buy from them fearlessly. They've got your back. My only regret is that it took me this long to get back to write this review.

Worth the price

Bought this for my 85-year old ma. She's legally blind from the "dry" type of macular degeneration. Unfortunately, the larger glass isn't strong enough to help her much. But, in my experience, both of them magnify to a higher level than 95% or more of the competition. It the glass you're looking to buy doesn't make you pause and think "Damn--seems expensive," then, trust me, it's only a 2x or 3x strength magnifier.

Good Magnifier - Large 5x!1

I bought this magnifier for my 87 year old mother who has lost most of her eyesight to glaucoma. She has a 5x that was given to her by the society for the blind but it is so small, she can only read one or two words at a time which is a challenge to grasp the entire context of a sentence. I know the higher the power, the smaller the lens gets, so I was skeptical about the truth in advertising of this product. I figured I would return it if it was not any better than the one she has. I ordered it on a Saturday, had it delivered to her and she got it the next Tuesday. She called me to tell me she really liked it and it was a good magnifier. She said, "Dad put the batteries for the lights in and I can see more than just a word at a time!" I am so pleased that she is pleased. In my opinion, the 5x magnifier improved her quality of life by helping her to be able to read better. She is using the 10x lens without the handle, but the iMagniphy 5x is her primary lens. Thank you iMagniphy!

Beats all the other magnifying glasses.

I just received this magnifying glass and couldn't wait to write a review . It magnifies the smallest print and the handle is oh so comfortable to hold. There are two different size magnifying heads to choose from There is also a microfiber cleaning cloth and a nice soft velvet pouch to store everything in. I have never seen instructions that was so impressive like this company includes with their product. The sheet must have been about 10 x 12 inches with large colorful step by step photographs on how to install three Triple-AAA batteries. No wonder the company has a lifetime guarantee they will never have to worry about a return of this awesome, beautifully well-made product.

Absolutely perfect for my rather unusual purpose

First of all, I must say that I bought this PRIMARILY for a rather unusual purpose --- getting higly magnified views of the many many thousands of old Kodachrome color slides which I took in the 1970s thru 1990s, for deciding which ones should be digitally archived. Many are family, some are friends, and a great many others are nature landscapes, primarily Yosemite/Sierras and the Big Sur Coast. And I couldn't be happier --- the 10x secondary lens is perfect, far better than the professional "lupes" I have used with my very-large light-tables for years. I can scrutinize an image much more closely, in different regions, and can also use sunlight coming thru a window (or white-shaded table lamp at night) as the light source. At the moment, all of the slides are in archival sleeves in binders, and I can quickly note the "candidates" for later removal to put in a slide projector for making final selections. In the end, probably two thousand will be digitally archived, and then the work "doing things" with them can begin. I may not even use the LED feature, for this massive project. VERY happy customer!
