I highly recommend this one over the name brand

i absolutely love thia xbox one stand! it was very affordable and i feel like i got my money's worth. The plastic that the standard made out of is terrible it holds my Xbox up very good and securely. I was originally go with the stand made by Microsoft but when I saw the price for this one it was a lot cheaper and it seem like the same exact product. When I receive the package all I had to do is open it said the stand of my entertainment center and put the Xbox on it and done! Pretty much all I can say is I'm very satisfied with your side of mine recommended to anybody else as Xbox One and need to stand it's amazing And if I ever need another one I will be getting the same exact one thank you my life unit!

Xbox one is not designed to be set vertically. ...

This product does exactly what it was designed to do. It was a perfect fit and held the xbox upright in a stable position. HOWEVER Xbox one is not designed to be set vertically. It is clearly stated with the documentation supplied with the xbox but I only learned this after buying the product setting it up and my xbox not working properly after that. Once I set my xbox back in the horizontal position it worked properly after that. After researching this online, it seems that some xbox units do not have a problem working vertical, but it seems hit or miss. Maybe there some difference depending on the different configurations. I would suggest trying you particular unit out first before purchasing. That said, this is an issue with the Xbox itself and NOT with the stand itself. That said, it would be nice if this was more clearly stated in the product description.

Good stand

A simple stand for a simple use. OG xbox fits right in no gaps.. can even pick up console with the stand still snug. Not hard to remove tho.. so wont leave a mark.

Exactly what I was looking for. Wish it could stack on either end.

If you are looking at this listing, then odds are you need this exact product. It has worked great for me. Some reviewers felt the plastic could be higher quality, but it is exactly what I was expecting. It isn't some cheap plastic. It also isn't an Apple product. My only complaint is that the Xbox One only stands up in this one way due to the angled corner on the XB1. The reason why is that the intake side ends up on the top while the exhaust goes out the other side (against the shelf) and the top of the XB1 - opposite of the natural thermal flow. It has only been a theoretical problem so far though. My XB1 works just as well otherwise (since I only use digital download games).

Simple vertical stand with perfect fit.

Just a simple vertical stand for original Xbox one. It is solid and fits it perfect. No fans or anything like that which it doesn't need it, has vents on the bottom so it can breath. Only thing I feel could be better are the little foam pads on the bottom. They are a little slippery. Wish they could have had a little more grip. The system doesn't really vibrate so it's not really a problem. Only if you accidentally bump it at the edge of a table or something. But other than that, it's just what I needed.

Works great as described

Its a piece of plastic that makes the Xbox stand vertically more securely. No more, no less. Perfect since all my media is digital, no discs. And no I have not had any issues with overheating either. Its not so delicate a device that many make it seem. Microsoft officially stated cooling is not an issue for vertical orientation, just running discs.

Does its job

I just moved to a new house and had to put my TV (and therefore, also my Xbox) on top of a mantle. The mantle didn't have enough room for my Xbox to fit lying flat, so I panicked a little and then found this. There are plenty of variations, and I'm sure there are higher quality products than this one. However, for the price and the quality, I would recommend this one if you need to stand your Xbox upright.

The stand is PERFECT for the xbox one. This was exactly what my daughter needed and the quality of the product is great for the price. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that needs this. Also I paid for one day shipping and it came like it was suppose too. Thank you~

Works Well

I got this for my first gen Xbox One. I don’t use discs, only digital downloads, so I would bot recommend inverting your Xbox if you use discs because it’s not intended for that. No problems with my console, works well, is sturdy, and a great price.

Accessory every XBox One owner needs.

I’m very pleased with what I received. It arrived next, as advertised. The stand looks as if it came with my Xbox console. The fit and finish are excellent. The clearance for the rubber thing was a nice surprise. Real attention to detail, in my book. I would recommend it.
