Super quality for a very affordable price

Very nice product for the price. I am in the process of building a vloging rig for my GoPro Hero 5 Black out of accessories here on Amazon. One of the key items needed were a few hotshoe mounts and these worked perfectly. They tightened snuggly into the base mount and to the camera. It's nice to have a few of these extra lying around as you'll never know when you may need one and at this price you could have several for backups on hand.

Work precisely as they should

Nicely machined. I used the nut on one to replace a missing piece on the ‘selfy-stick’ I use with my action cam. I used the other in its entirety as part of the mount for a raspberry pi camera I’m using with octoprint. Fair price. Zero complaints.

Well built, excellent quality for the price!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product for the price...well built, and high-quality material. Fits perfectly on my Canon hot shoe and have used it to mount my action camera with no issues. The two thumb-knob tighteners allow secure tightening to the action camera mount and very tight/secure tightening to the camera hot shoe. The extra two-piece mounting gear included was a great bonus! Highly recommend!

Good quality product

Not much to say about these other than stating that they are good quality and do the job. Metal construction seems solid. Thumbwheels turn easily. Bottom plate fits nicely into cold shoe. Given good treatment, I see no reason these won’t last a very long time. Jerry

These are very inexpensive but they work extremely well. What makes me give them 5 stars is that they actually come very well finished, with big knurled knobs that made them easy to reach and tighten under equipment, and the tripod screw tip is also slightly bevelled that helps make installations a bit easier.

Great quality material - a little overpriced.

These are made of great material and have really helped me fix a lot of accessories to the cameras I use to film mannequins for this online streaming channel I manage. They are a BIT pricey but because of the quality and the versatility I think it’s fine. I’ll probably end up buying more of these because they just work SO WELL. Great little product.

A great cost effective substitute

Bought this to connect my GoPro Hero Session to a hot shoe mount, on an Opteka VB-20 Splitter Bracket. Didn't want to buy an expensive mount so this saved me a lot of money, the camera is on one side and a video light on the other. Will buy again if needed :)

Handy for mounting things to 4040 extrusions

These are great for sliding into T slot 4040 extrusions to mount your flashes, dslr, etc to a common rail. The flat bolt fits into the T slot with a little slop and you can run down the bottom nut to your extrusion to lock the extrusion. The second thumb screw can then be tightened to your photo device to lock it to your rail. If you order the T slot 4040 you may want to see if they have a lighter duty 4040 if you are mounting it to a tripod. If you are using this to build a photo booth out of 4040 extrusion the standard extrusion would work amazing for mounting flashes and accessories. It does have a little slop in the slot but for a cheap option it works amazing.

More sturdy than I thought they would be

After reading reviews and hearing that these things break easily I was a little worried. They're actually pretty sturdy (I used with a lightweight mic on a boom stand) Worked great and was happy to have 3 extras if one of them broke.
