Very happy with unit
I purchased this because my leupold 750 would not range a deer beyond 300 350 yards. This ranges well beyond that. I have ranged a large rock across the lake at 633 yards. Very happy with unit.

OPTICS AREN'T GREAT BUT THEY GET THE JOB DONE AND FOR THE ...
HARD TO BEAT FOR THE PRICE. DEAD ON SO FAR CHECKED IT OUT AT THE RANGE WITH MARKED DISTANCES AND WAS ON THE MARK EVERY TIME. HAVE RANGED OUT TO 1000 YARDS SO FAR AND IT HAS BEEN ON THE MONEY. OPTICS AREN'T GREAT BUT THEY GET THE JOB DONE AND FOR THE PRICE I AM IMPRESSED WITH HOW ACURATE THIS LITTLE UNIT IS. MY LAST UNIT COST ME OVER SIX TIMES WHAT I PAID FOR THE UIEYE AND WHILE IT WAS A VERY GOOD UNIT IT WASN'T ANY MORE ACURATE AND MUCH HARDER TO TARGET OVER 600 YARDS. THIS UNIT IS FAST AND EASY TO USE.

For the price, this thing is awesome. Quality is pretty solid and it works really well. Directions are simple and its easy to use. Only one issue. Do get accurate readings on angles and adjusted ranging due to angle of elevation, you need a tripod with a level to caliberate it. Otherwise highly reccomend

so it has a good degree of precision
I had reservations with this product, but it has performed quite well. It can range certain surfaces well over 1 km away (the furthest I have gotten is 1.4 km). It has repeatability, so it has a good degree of precision. This is a great inexpensive laser range finder for golfers, shooters, or anyone who wants feedback when practicing estimating range.

It worked great for me
I bought this to do some surveying of my friends' property they just bought to find their property markers and to find the markers on some land I was looking at buying. It is as accurate as the description states. I was able to get within a foot of everything I was doing. I was measuring distances from 50' to 1300' and did it with ease. Some comments disagree, but read how it works and you will be very happy with it. Hint: I read how it works. It's common sense. The further away, the bigger the object needs to be to get an accurate reading since the slightest movement could point the laser at the wrong thing without knowing it. A few times my readings were way off. Upon inspection, I realized there was a tall weed or two far away that I didn't notice. I stamped them down and everything was fine. Next, I used a tripod. This got rid of most of the movement. I just had to be careful when I pushed the buttons. Lastly, it uses a laser. The more reflective the object is, the better it can see it. If you pointed one of those red laser pointers at an object 1000' away and you couldn't see it with a scope, don't expect the rangefinder to. I used an 18" square piece of sheet aluminum. In the center, I put two strips of reflective tape making the spot about 4x6". I just placed it where I was measuring to and aimed in the center. I could tell if I hit the tape because the measurement didn't change. If I hit just the aluminum, it would change by up to a yard. If I hit the grass, I could be off by a few yards, easy.

Awesome, affordable rangefinder for shooting/golf. Pics for refference
I plan to use this for long distance shooting (unknown distances from 400-1300 yd) - This is my first laser rangefinder, so its hard for me to compare to a more expensive unit like a sig Kilo or Leupold but so far so good. Build quality feels slightly on the cheap side, have yet to test its durability, but seems to function pretty accurately. Image quality is not perfect but on par with most binoculars/monoculars. I can't really complain since all the other laser range finders in this category (1600 yd) costs at least $250 and up. I took it out to a local park with a large hill and was able to range some targets consistently and even was able to get out to 1500 yards in scan mode, but having a sturdy tripod or monopod will help tremendously. I tested out by looking at a golf course in the distance: the sandtraps were about 30 yards from the laser point (1130 yd). I ranged the general spot of just beyond the sand traps about 3-4 times, and each time read within 1160-1170 yards (it was using a light tripod that wiggled a little - but still pretty impressive!!) The first image is from a set of 10+ year old Bushnell 10x24 binoculars for picture quality comparison (Bushnell still kicking strong!)... All these photos were held to the eyepiece as best as possible so its not true to what you actually see (much clearer!) Will update in the future after actual testing in field conditions.

Good choice
Arrived in perfect working order. Field tested 100 meters. I recommend it.

Buy one! You won't be disappointed.
I waited a month before I wrote this review. This thing is amazing and accurate. It certainly works to 600 yards in real life conditions at the shooting range. Like any range finder, it must be mounted on a tripod to work properly. The angle meter is accurate.
