Best Ear Plugs for Those Hyper-Sensitive to Sound (PTSD, Autism, etc)
I struggle with PTSD and am hyper-sensitive to sound making everyday outings, such as going to the grocery store, a challenge. I have bought at least a dozen different kinds of earplugs, from the basic foam style, to the moldable silicone type (similar to silly putty), to Earplane ear plugs. Some block out too much noise, others not enough, and most are only comfortable to wear for an hour or less. These are hands down the BEST ear plugs I have ever purchased. They a discreet (not hot pink), easy to insert and remove, easy to clean, and most important they are comfortable. They come with 3 different sized tips to attach. This works perfect for me, as one ear requires a smaller size than the other. They fit a bit like earbuds, but are much more comfortable. I can wear them for hours and they don't hurt my ears at all. They block out just the right amount of background noise, but I can still hear well enough to not be startled by someone walking up beside me that I didn't first see. I don't know exactly how to quantify the difference, but I would say, things sound half as loud (both for background noise, and when people are speaking to you). I can push these ear plugs in deeper for more noise control, or easily pull them out a bit to hear someone talking to me. I am so thankful for these ear plugs, they have given me the freedom to be in public places without feeling overwhelmed by everyday sounds. While they come with a small plastic storage container, I found it easy to lose. Instead, I purchased a Waterproof Aluminum Pill Box Key Chain Case (for around $7 for 6 on Amazon) so that I always have them on my key-chain or hooked to my bag whenever I need them. Foo Fighters Approved!
I remember going to concerts as a teenager and having ringing ears for hours or even a full day after the show. Fast forward 15 years, and I'm sure my ears have aged, and I'm more concerned about the health of my ears than I was then. So I ordered Vibes after seeing them featured on Shark Tank. I just tested them out at a Foo Fighters arena concert last night. The earplugs are amazing! They made the concert enjoyable but still audible as they didn't muffle the sound too much. (A little bit of muffling occurs, but I think that's expected.) The concert was still plenty loud for me; it's not like the earplugs made the sound quiet. I took them out at one point during the concert just to see how loud the concert really was. The difference was amazing! I couldn't believe how much louder the concert was when I took the earplugs out; I gladly stuck them back in and left them in during the remainder of the show. These are very low-profile and are not really visible, and they were hardly visible on me since my hair covers my ears. Don't feel ashamed or embarrassed to wear earplugs to a concert -- many people do it, and it doesn't make anyone any "less cool." Looking forward to my next concert with my Vibes earplugs!

These have been life changing for me. Due to ...
These have been life changing for me. Due to personal health issues I have become very sensitive to sounds. These are a way to get through loud birthday party’s, my daughter activities, concerts, or even church services. I can hear what I need to hear without being bothered by all the accumulation of background noises. All doing so discretely. Thank you for inventing this product. Also l love the tiny hard case. I keep them in my purse at all times.

Allows autistic man to comfortably speak with HoH father, and sit comfortably in loud restaurants.
I'm autistic with noise sensitivities and have tried other earplugs but they always muffled conversations, and have tried earmuffs but I really don't like standing out as "that developmentally disabled guy" when I'm in public. This was a really serious issue for me, because my sound sensitivities make it very difficult to walk alongside busy roads or sit in loud rooms like restaurants without having a shutdown or meltdown. I was debating saving up for electronic earplugs, but I came across this and decided to give them a chance. I am SO glad I did! Not only is it discreet and comfortable, but it works great. I can actually sit in my living room, watch TV with my family, and talk to my dad without having to grin and bear the volume. My dad's going deaf, and he tends to yell-speak, which is horrible when combined with my sensory issues. Either I have to reminded him to quiet every few minutes or I have to pretend that I don't want to take several steps back and cover my ears (because that would be rude, obviously). No one wins in the situation, but with these earplugs it's not an issue anymore. I can talk to my dad and honestly fully enjoy the conversation for the first time since his hearing started to go. It really is amazing. (Only problem is how difficult they are to find if you drop them on white carpets, but that's not enough to dock a star)

Small Ear Approved
I saw these on Shark Tank and forgot about it until I was ready to go to a concert and realized I couldn't handle another concert with foam plugs that muffle all the sound so badly. I have tinnitus/ear ringing and VERY sensitive hearing, but still love to watch live music, so I have to do SOMETHING. So I went a-searchin. That's when I came across these, remembered seeing them on Shark Tank, and took a chance on buying some. I have REALLY small ears and usually need children's versions of anything for ears, so I was worried these wouldn't fit. Guess what? They did! Somehow without shoving them entirely into my ear, I was able to get a seal with the plastic part propped onto the inside of my ear. Wonders never cease! They're meant to create a seal, not just be shoved into your ear canal like others. It feels SO much better. So all ya'll adults with small ears and/or ear canals, get you some of these. They'll complete you. I digress. These are awesome, and I am so happy I bought them. I could hear the sound well (don't be thinking you can wear ear protection and not lose ANY sound quality, it's just gonna happen...), could carry on a conversation with them in, and was so happy overall. Best ear protection experience I've ever had! They weren't uncomfortable or falling out. They just stayed in, discretely, and were easy to wear the whole show. I am a fan. A big, big fan.

Comfortable and worth the money
I am autistic and without these I would be wearing earmuffs everyday. I have extreme sound sensitivity and mild touch sensitivity so I struggle to wear regular ear plugs. These are so comfortable that I can wear them all day. They allow me to hear other people speaking and just lower all the volume of everything which is exactly what I need. I lost a pair and had to rebuy them immediately because I have a hard time without them. A+

Good hearing protecting that doesn't sacrifice sound quality
I purchased three sets of these for a (very loud) rock concert. All three people who used them (including me) were very happy with them. They reduced the overall decibels, but the music remained clear and enjoyable.

Great for kids on the autism spectrum
I decided to buy these noise reduction earplugs for my 7 year old daughter on the autism spectrum after reading an article saying it has helped some kids on the spectrum when it comes to dealing with loud places. She has been using them for the school cafeteria and her bus ride. I like the fact that it's not like regular ear plugs where you hear different and echoing, she can still hear well, just not as loud. So it's perfect for her. I'm not sure how long they will last, since she has to use them on a daily basis and they are very small even with the string, they can get lost easily. But so far she loves them and it gives me peace that it's helping her when I'm not around.

A Lifesaver for Sensory Overload
These are a lifesaver for me! I have sensory processing issues & get easily overwhelmed/overloaded in noisy environments. I keep these on a neck cord that I bought under a separate listing. They are always around my neck and hidden inside the top of my shirt. Whenever I get into a situation where there is too much noise, I am able to quickly put them in my ears because I always have them within reach. I also make sure I use them proactively before I walk into a store. It's so much more tolerable shopping now because I can tune out all the overwhelming noise. The nice thing is you can still hear if someone is talking to you (i.e. across the table in a noisy restaurant), but it knocks all the deafeningly loud background noise down tremendously I feel like these ear plugs have given me a bit of freedom back again. Thank you!!!!

I was very pleased with the results
I purchased these after hearing about them on the Modern Drummer podcast. I am a hobbyist musician (drummer and guitarist) and am around loud music quite a bit. I also go to a few concerts. I received these yesterday and tried them out last night at a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert. I was very pleased with the results. They allowed me to hear the music just fine while blocking out a lot of the ear-splitting volume and unwanted overtones within the arena. I've tried similar ear plugs in the past and always felt like they were blocking out too much of the sounds I wanted to hear. I'm 55 and have been noticing more and more ringing in my ears, so I really want to start protecting the hearing I have left. Wish I had started using these years ago. If you are a performing musician or a regular concert-goer interested in preserving your hearing, I highly recommend giving these babies a try. I don't think you will find a better value for an as effective product.
