Great quality, thick for a flour sack towel, nicely hemmed on all four sides. Well worth the added expense. I bought these for embroidery and they're just perfect for that. Nice, tight weave, excellent construction and quality. These feel more like high quality napkins than flour sack towels. These will make amazing gifts. I'll be buying more when I use these up.

I bought these so that I could add vinyl to them for gifts. The material is much heavier than I was excpteciting, in the past I have purchased similar towels that have been odd shaped and see through. These has a nice edge and are fairly square. Will definitely purchase more as the need arises.

It is a joy to have real dish drying towels again. I'm an old guy, so I remember when the standard was converted flour sacks, which I still prefer. Compared to those, these are just a bit less soft, but the added absorbency makes up for it.

I use these for HTV towel designs. I had purchased Walmart's flour sack towels and they were super thin, poorly stitched and super wrinkled. I tried these based on reviews and they are AMAZING. Still thin, but a much thicker weave. The stitching is even and it has the back loop for hanging. This is the only brand I will buy from now on! The slightly increased price per towel over Walmart is well worth it for the quality.

I bought these to use instead of paper towels in my house. They are working great as every day napkins or wiping the counter etc. They are light and easy to throw in the wash with any laundry.

I bought these for making bread and proofing it. I needed a covering and flour sacks are my top choice. These towels came out of the dryer in perfect condition after I did not follow the washing/drying instructions. The instructions for care as per the item description and the wrapping around the towels were incorrect. The towel labels say 40 degrees C. That's 104 degrees F, the temperature for a hot bath. I washed them in warm water and dried them on a normal setting and they look great. So much for cold water washing and drying!

The best quality I have found in the vintage look Flour Sack Towel. I used them to adorn with vintage machine embroidery designs..such as Days of the week Flamingos and they were a hit with my daughters and granddaughters. Reminiscent of my days as a child, drying dishes for my Grandmother, with genuine FlourSack towels on which she had hand embroidered simple designs. She actually would embroider on Saturday evenings as we listened to our favorite radio shows....Amos and Andy, Our Miss Brooks and of course Jack Benny.

These towels may be more expensive, but the quality is miles ahead of the others. They have a tighter weave and are much more heavy duty. They also have a nice little cotton ribbon sewn in one corner to hang them to dry between uses (or just to keep off the counter). They do their jobs better, they are easier to fold (and therefore store) and have a nice weight to them. I HIGHLY recommend these towels!

This is my third order for these flour sack towels. I like the size, and the weight of these towels. For the most part the corners are square so they fold nicely. I've used fabric paint on them and silk screened them. I would not hesitate to embroider on them. The are more expensive than others but it's nice to know that their quality won't disappoint.

I recently purchase the Flour Sack towels along with the Vintage Dish towels. As I do my own cooking, I intended to compare the two types of towels. I followed the instructions to wash them in cold water before using them. There was minimal shrinkage. But that is to be expected with cotton that has not been preshrunk. Both towels absorb water and dry my, tableware, silverware, cookware, and prep tools. I also had occasion to use a flour sack towel as a replacement for cheese cloth. It performed admirably. Thus far they are a better option than the supermarket, discount store, and upscale cooking retailers towels, which often just pushed the water about. I like 'em.
