wow expensive

okay i loved this for my newborn. safe co sleeping and all. BUT oh my god. so so expensive even though i loved it and used it every day for about four months, i still don't think it was worth the amount they are asking.

Just an unadulterated review from a desperate mom.

We got our dockatot off the actual website, not Amazon. But considering how a lot of people are skeptical of the website's "incentivized reviews" and the degree to which Amazon permeates our lives, thought I'd leave my experience here. I have a 4 month old, who up until today, napped exclusively on my chest. We've owned the dockatot for about a month. It didn't seem to make a difference until now. We just took her from San Francisco to Toronto to visit grandparents. Being really turned off to overpacking, we decided with the dockatot vs the pack n play. Couldn't be happier with the decision. All it took was some gentle no-tears sleep training, she took 3 naps in a row in her dockatot. And given that she's got mild plagiocephaly from refusing to turn her head when sleeping in her crib at night, the dockatot is the perfect SUPERVISED "nap positioner" (see attached image) - yes its breathable, but why take the risk. I never thought I'd see the day I could get my little girl to sleep on the side of her head, but TA DA, here we are! This thing is a godsend for us. While I realize this won't work for every baby, but if you were as desperate as my bladder is during every nap time, give this a shot. PS. My daughter is 4 months old, super active kicker, 60th percentile for length, so we open the buckle at the bottom, and she's happy as a clam.

Buy it, its worth it! You will sleep better and so will they

Best product EVER for Co-sleeping. Our little one still sleeps in it and they are 10 months old. Use crib sheets to cover.

Pricy but saved my sanity, a few blah things as well

This is one of those products that works so well it creates unforeseen problems. Ok so my daughter was born and the joy of being a new dad all over again (have a little boy) was great. Than something went wrong, she would cry, and cry, and cry, and cry. This was not going to be an easy girl and she has proven to be very difficult. HOWEVER the DockATot was the ONLY thing she would sleep in. We tried everything you can think of and she would just wake up screaming after an hour. Bought this thing on a crazy whim after an advertisement showed up somewhere with one of Brad Pitts kids in it. Sure the price was high as heck, but this thing has saved my sanity. The problem (Aside from taking it apart to clean and trying to stuff it all back together again) is that my daughter who is now 8 mos will not sleep in anything but this. SO I guess I created an addiction or sleeping aid of sorts that was unforeseen. This may not be a cure all for everyone but the darn near 200 bucks saved my sanity. I will also add that my daughter would drool/sweat a lot and I would clean this thing weekly. It reached a point that the pad even after cleaning it was stained dark (not sure it was mold exactly) but would be great if I could have bought another pad or if they can vapor lock those pads somehow to prevent what may be mold (But maybe not).

When I saw the price of this thing and what it was I almost told my s/o we weren't getting it. I'm so glad she convinced me otherwise. This was the only way we could get our son to nap during the day for the first few months. All three of us absolutely love this thing and highly recommend giving it a try

Lo mejor que pude comprar para mi bebé! Dormía delicioso!!! Se sienten muy seguros como en brazos de mamá! Te lo llevas a todas partes y es mucho mejor que llevar una cuna, puedes hacer colecho seguro, lo pones en el baño, en el comedor, un día de campo, en un restaurant, donde quiera que vayas esta increíble y fácil de cargar, no pesa nada y te cabe en cualquier espacio. Mejor imposible !

Highly recommend for travel

Total lifesaver. We use the dock a tot every night for co sleeping and it allows us all to get more sleep! Highly recommend for travel.
