This little gizmo infuses everything we cook on it with the most incredible flavor! Super easy to use, nice and portable too. Once the seasoning is complete on the griddle... it becomes nearly like teflon, even scrambled eggs don't stick! We take it camping and we use it at home on the patio, everything we cook on it is a flavorful treat! Could not be happier with the Blackstone Griddle!!!

I purchased this grill to use in our camper. I did season it which is not hard at all just use the oil that is recommended in the directions that comes with it. I tried it out at home before putting it in our camper to see how it would cook and it cooks great!! It's a light weight grill and it's a lot easier to take this along camping than a regular grill. One thing I love about using this when I cook outdoors is that I can cook so many things on it. On our recent camping trip, I cooked bacon, pancakes, eggs, and burgers. Clean up is a snap with this grill. I do not cook anything in our camper because I don't want cooking smells or messes in the camper. We have a Holland grill that we use at home but this grill is so much better in my opinion because of all the different things I can cook on it. It fits a lot of food on it and is just the thing we need for camping and I will still be pulling it out to use at home too.

Great stove. You have to season the grill before using. I recommend flax seed oil and putting in the oven. I followed instructions to a 'T' but because the burners don't heat evenly, the cooking service didn't have a consistent conditioning on it. On about the 3rd heat/cool cycle I turned on the oven to 500 degrees applied flax seed oil and heated it up in there. The last picture was after 3 cycles and you can see that the whole cooking surface didn't get conditioned. Get flax seed oil and follow instructions, but use the oven

I have been reading where these were warping and some people didn't like them. I am very pleased however. It did warp but only the slightest amount so far when I seasoned it and used it the first time. However I would buy it again tomorrow! It is very well made from the feet to the very top. Working with steel and cooking in cast iron my whole life I understand that it is virtually impossible for steel not to be effected somewhat by heating and cooling off. It is well braced underneath the grid and as good as I think is humanly possible to make it to lessen the warping.Metal expands and shrinks constantly fluctuating with heat, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a really heavy duty but yet portable grid to cook on. I also saw people talking about the weight being a little heavy, the truth is it is a little heavy, BUT, I wouldn't want it any lighter because that would mean it would have to be thinner and then there would be the issue of hot spot's, not holding heat and severe warping. The last thing I will address is the size of the griddle itself, Again some people thought it was a little small. It is plenty large for a family of four and as many as you wish since it will stay hot and you can cook back to back on it. I think it is a very good product and this was an honest review, no discounts or anything of the sort. I bought it from Amazon at their regular price. Enjoy!

I’ve worked in a kitchen before and always liked the ease of using a griddle to cook, but never thought about buying one for myself at home. Eventually, targeted advertisements showed me this product enough that I decided to buy the 22” version when it went on sale. When this griddle came I thought I made a mistake and should have bought the 17” version and almost sent it back because the box seemed so big and heavy, but i am so glad I didn’t. Anything bigger would be too much for me as i’d rarely cook for more than 4 people, but if necessary I could easily churn out burgers, gyros, cheesesteaks etc for 10-15+ people on this thing. I purchased the stand and love how good it looks. Depending on what you’re looking for the 17” may be just fine for u but having dual temperature control is great for warming buns/wraps while cooking the meats. The age old debate about what you should season a griddle/cast iron with will not be ended by me, but I would 100% recommend keeping it “simple” and using canola oil especially if you have never seasoned either before. I seasoned my griddle with two rounds of canola oil and then cooked a package of bacon for the third layer and threw some garlic, ginger, and scallions on the grill like id season a wok. The only slightly negative thing I have to say as some others have commented, the griddle surface could maybe be smoother, but In practicality the griddle is still super easy to clean and the slightly “rough” surface might actually help create a slightly better sear. I clean my griddle with a scraper (the blackstone one isn’t actually that good) and wipe clean with a layer of canola if I haven’t got it too dirty. If it gets really dirty I’ll use coarse salt, water and a scourge sponge.

i bought this unit for the Boosters club form my sons baseball team. This is one fantastic unit and everyone that uses it loves it. This is way better then a grill. When I got it the first think I did was season the top with peanut oit, after that it worked fantastic. very easy to clean up and very portable. it heats up fast and it is very easy to clean. I would recomment this unit to anyone that loves camping or cooking outside or as a replacement to a outside grill. This unit looks spmall but I can cook 8 hamburgers and a mound of onions and mushrooms on it at the same time. Definately a good buy and well worth the money. Just one note. I bought this unit for $99.99 from Amazon. i saw same unit at Ace Hardware for $79.99. So I would recommend shopping around for best price. Amazon did not have the best price...

I was skeptical of this $75 portable grill, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I'm impressed with the design and function. It now holds a spot on an outdoor counter next to my built-in gas grill and Big Green Egg. I also bought this gas hose extension: [DozyAnt 12 Feet Propane Tank Converter Adapter Hose Assembly Replacement for QCC1 / Type1 LP Gas Tank with CSA Certified Connects Bulk Propane Appliances to 20 LB Propane Cylinder Tank]. It connects to a typical, larger propane tank for hours of grilling. There's no real assembly required; just screw on the feet and place the heavy steel plate on top. The supplied regulator screws in the right side. You MUST follow the instructions to season the grill by lightly coating it with cooking oil and burning it off repeatedly. There are ample instructions on the Blackstone website as well as ways to keep it clean. The trick is to clean it and apply oil after each use. There are also Youtube videos to help with this. Using an infrared thermometer, the grill surface reached between 580 and 610 degrees on a 60 degree day.. You'll learn where the hotspots are while using it. If you're going to keep it outside or travel with it, be sure to buy the optional cover and travel bag set. Happy cooking.

I love this grill. The attached pictures shown are all from the first use. I seasoned it with a little oil and threw bacon on for good measure. My dog thanked me! Then came peppers and onions and squash. By the time I cooked the chicken the grill was perfectly seasoned. I bought the zip up carrying case and took the grill to the beach where we cooked bacon, sausage, French toast, shrimp, steak, hash browns, and onions. My husband said it was the best grill ever. I also have a Weber and I swear I like this little grill even better!

Received it the day before our camping trip this weekend. We bought the 2 burner. Followed the instructions on seasoning the griddle. Very easy. We got to our destination. First morning made breakfast on it. Pan sausage and eggs. Had 24 sausage patties on it at once. Cooked them just right but also quickly. Scrambled eggs on it. About a dozen all at once. Turned out great. Later that evening we did burgers. I had 14 burgers going at once. Very efficient. Easy to clean. Just just pour water on it while it’s hot. Everything comes right off! Best thing we’ve added to our camper. Could be used at home also. I think it’s a great product.

Where has this been in my life? Incredible... Bought it for camping (French toast, burgers, bacon, etc...) but have only used it at home on the porch so far (French toast, burgers, bacon...). Plenty of room for 8 big burgers. Heats as evenly as I imagine it could...Just fantastic. This WILL be the best camping gear equipment I've purchased to date if I can bear to remove it from its vaulted position next to my patio BBQ. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner.
