Simple design that works great!

I do a lot of gimbal work and am constantly running around, jumping into cars, and bumping into things. I broke about $100 worth of HDMI cables before getting this cable clamp and I'm kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. I now have one for each camera! It screws onto the side of my A7III an A7RIII cages and holds the HDMI cable firmly in place. Since purchasing the clamp I have not broken a cable. Prior to using the clamp I had gone through FOUR cables over the course of a few months...! I ended up swapping out the included mounting screws with a quick release screw so I can easily remove and/or adjust the clamp. I only wish Sony would have made the HDMI, audio, USB-C port covers removable...

Crucial part of the a7III cage, will save your hdmi port from snapping

Crucial addition to the cage for the Sony a7III... the hdmi port on the camera is very fragile and this keeps the cable from bending inside the port and breaking it. If you own the cage for this camera then you need this part. Do not skip it.

This is a must for cable plugs.

Works great im using the Sony a7iii and it fits perfect with the micro hmdi port to keep my ninja v cable tight - recommended!

Invaluable! A must-have if you use a smallrig cage. I am using it on my A7Riii cage. I'm certain I've already saved $50 in broken cables just from not bumping the micro HDMI connector. And probably a repair job on the camera hdmi port itself. Get this.

This + smallrig cage = same protection as a lockport for port, plus a full cage for less money

It works great, i wanted to set up something similar to the a7s ii lockport and this does the job as good as that as i can tell, and better than the sony supplied cable protector where the cable can still jiggle inside and possibly wear down the hdmi port.
