Great purchase for under a swingset!

We used this product underneath a swingset (over outdoor pads) in our courtyard and it's held up surprisingly well with daily use by a household and neighborhood of boys. It does get rather hot in the direct sun but we do live in Puerto Rico and the kids don't seem to mind.

The artificial grass tiles are just as I expected based on others reviews. We're getting a new puppy and want to train her to do her business in the narrow side yard of our home. The area is shaded most of the day so grass won't grow. But we have good drainage over there and this will be perfect. After assembly, I fluffed up the blades with a whisk broom and I am very pleased with the appearance and color uniformity. 01/25/19 UPDATE: For a variety of reasons, we relocated this from the side yard to the cement patio area as pictured and placed it right over one of the drains. I clean it with a light spray of Simple Green two or three times a week and then hose it down, then use a yard broom to "rake" the blades back up to standing. Our puppy is now fully housebroken and it worked GREAT. I noticed the very tips of some of the blades are losing their color and turning white, but not enough to bother me. For what we purchased it for, I am very satisfied with this product.

Excellent quality product, surprised and impressed me. Although a little expensive.

The quality of these square artificial grass tiles are simply amazing. They are expensive and so I originally only purchased 36 of these tiles. But it came out so good that I instantly knew I had to buy many more to fill out the entire area. When you step on it you can immediately notice how great it feels. I installed them in a portion of my back yard, and now this area is perfect for doing yoga on them, or exercise, or having a small BBQ. My neighbor was also impressed and asked me a about it, said he didn’t even realize it wasn’t real grass. Even both of my cats absolutely love them. When I let him go out to my yard, the first thing this cat does is go lay down on these artificial grass tiles. You can tell he is so happy just laying there all comfortable. This product is not cheap. I had to spend somewhere around $600 to $700 in order for me to have enough artificial grass to cover an area of size 5ft by 13ft. So bottom line: it is not a cheap product, but it is absolutely worth the money if you want to have great quality that is a pleasure and comfort to walk on and show off.

They worked for me!

I was in a hurry so I got the older locking style. It still worked just fine. The trick is to push them together without any of the grass pointing down. Fluffing: yes, it comes very flat so you have to get a rake or the rubber thing I used (don't know what it's called, sorry... see pics). Even after fluffing I can still see the lines a bit. It's not bad and the group of 9 tiles still looks great. Initially both of my dogs just wanted to lay on it or sit on it. They thought it was a new toy. But finally one of them christened it and then it was all over. It took a day or so. Now both of them go out there and pee and poo just fine. Cleaning is easy with a garden hose, and the drainage holes lets the pee go right through. Great design!

Awesome for dogs and balconies.

Couldn't be happier!!! I received this 2 days ago and easily put 3 boxes of it together on my balcony by myself. We have 2 small special needs children and live in a primarily second floor town home. So taking our very large 3 month old puppy downstairs for a walk every other hour during the day isn't feasible for us. Our balcony is made of wood and these tiles sit on top of them and drain well. After a ton of research on different options, this was by far the best solution for us. We have a dog that will grow to be around 75 lbs so the porch potty and other outdoor dog areas that are marketed don't seem large enough for him. With these tiles I was able to make it as large as I wanted and saved at least $100 compared to what I could have paid for something marketed for dogs. Our dog really likes it and is using it well. It has rained hard twice since we've had it and the drainage flow is perfect. I worried most about this since we are renters. But it is exactly what I needed to keep us from causing any damage.

Awesome for my Apt patio.

Just needed a small area for my MinPin to lay and sunbathe on my patio. As soon as I installed it - she loved it. It’s great quality. Feels great. Great value. Super easy to assemble and is perfect for my patio. Highly recommend!! I will probably get more to expand area. EDIT: ordered more to expand the area. Love these patches of grass!!!

Good product

Easy to put together and just as described. I used it right outside my back door for my dogs feet before she comes into the house.

I wish it would Be cheaper :(

The Dogs Really Like it and Using it. :) I wish though it would Be cheaper or selling it in Bulk for a lower price. This way its very expansive cause 11 Piece covers Very small area.

Worked Perfectly

I purchased many of these, grassed in my entire back yard and patio. Such an improvement and water still runs fine underneath.

Easy to assemble this product little by little. It just takes time and patience while you align each square. For most 100% make sure you place each square the same stitched direction and combed once in place. To give you an estimate it took about 5 hours to place 45 squares accurately with the seams brushed and each square brushed.
