Holds more than 300lbs!
I saw the weight limit on this and was discouraged. I knew that there would be times where with gear and other tools, i'd be amassing 300lbs. I realized that this was probably just a guideline and decided to order anyways. I'm so grateful I did! Wow! This chair is incredible. Very durable, very reliable. Doesn't make any sounds. The tray is VERY helpful when working on a car. I highly recommend this to any other big boys out there looking for a solid mechanic stool.

Great tool for any application where you sit and move.
This roll around seat is great for me to work at the different levels and moving all of the time. And you can see it has a carrier on the bottom for tools while you are moving, it has been a great tool for me and the tray underneath (DOES NOT) get in the way of my feet as I move around. It appears to be strong and it says it will hold 300 pounds while a friend of mine goes over it still held him. Worth the inexpensive price. I got it real fast.

Nice height!
The stool was easy to put together and works well. I used it to go into a 5 foot high crawlspace to install lights. It was a lot easier to sit and roll around on the stool instead of bending over and reaching up. There is a tray on the base where you can put material or a flashlight that allows you to work with both hands. Nice item for the prices. Seems well built and I expect it to last.

Wen again...
Big fan of the WEN name brand. After starting out with their dremel tool about a year ago I now have, the chainsaw, detail sander, angle grinder, and now a very sturdy stool. They are just quality, affordable, products that I use on a daily basis. My wheels came in orange not black.

EFFORTLESS ASSEMBLY
This appears (it just arrived today) to be a very sturdy, rugged product. It's rated for 300 lbs of weight; that tells you a lot right there. I like the fact that it has an "elegant" look...black baked-paint metalwork, black upholstered seat and a very tasteful WEN logo on the seat face. The truly stunning part was the fact that the right-out-of-the-box assembly required NO TOOLS; the base already has the wheels factory-installed, so just place the upright stem into the mounting hole in the base, position the seat onto the stem top. then gently set down on the seat and all three pieces will be "fused" together. BRILLIANT!

Perfect weekend mechanics stool for the money.
wow I thought this was going to be a super cheap mechanics stool. I was wrong. It is the perfect height for me and I find myself using it all the time. I am 6'5" and not a light person. It is just perfect for me. I use it maybe 3-5 times a month. I just used it this past weekend while working on my 911 and it was the perfect height and comfortable to boot. I cant believe I have not had one of these before.

Grocery date auditor finds this great to use....
Best decision I made. I work in grocery retail as a date (expiration date) auditor. When it comes to the lower shelf’s this stool comes in handy. Being able to sit rather then kneelling for extended periods of time on my knees or slouching over for extended periods of time has saved my back and knees. Im chunky gal. But have found the seat to be sufficient. I also like the flexibility it offers. I’m able to roll and easily adjust my position when it comes to reaching deep in the shelves. When the stool isn’t in use I’m able to turn it upside down and place it on the bottom shelf of my rolling table.

nice stool
I use this in the bathroom by the sink with a make up mirror to apply my make up in the morning. I can move around easily in the bathroom on it. It is light weight and comfortable. My feet easily rest on the bottom portion of the stool. I highly recommend this stool for whatever purpose you might need it for.

A true gem that turned out to be much more useful than expected
After a move I purchased this stool to save my knees grief when running ethernet cable along baseboards. The stool turned out to be very useful for nearly all tasks typically requiring the need to get on the floor such as installing baseboard cabinet shelf paper and organizers, stripping floor wax in corners and baseboards, trimming carpet padding under oriental carpets and vacuuming under the bed and low furniture. I hit the convenience jackpot when I discovered that the stool was perfect for doing laundry with my new front loading washer and dryer. A stairwell in the laundry room precludes the use of pedestals even if one was willing to cough up the ridiculously high price for them so I use the lowest setting on the stool to sit down to load and unload the laundry. The stool's low seat allows me to easily reach small items such as socks that are fond of plastering themselves to the back of the washer and dryer. I can even sit on the stool to hang laundry to dry on a drying rack or a low pole to hang things on hangers coming out of the dryer. This has actually made doing laundry such a pleasant, relaxing task that I will never go back to standing wile doing laundry. While it rolls easily, even over areas where the oriental carpets with pads make for a high bump, the stool is so lightweight that it is no trouble to just pick it up to move it from room to room. I did find that the slick seat made the stool inclined to want to slip out from under me if I leaned far forward on it. I solved the problem with this baibu Super Breathable Round Bar Stool Cover Seat Cushion Black 13" which also adds extra cushioning to the seat. Also, the metal base has no bumper to prevent it from potentially marring furniture, baseboard molding or my washer and dryer. I used this D-Shape Weather Stripping Door Seal Hollow Black (5 Feet) to solve that problem.

Good garage stool for working on the side of a car...
Nice little rolling chair for when I work on the side of the car (currently sanding / rebuilding an old MB). I haven't seen any weakness on the weld joints or other areas that were referenced in another review. I'm 6'6" and weigh close to 260 and it supports me fine. Rolls on concrete easily and I'm able to move from the front to the back of the car without issue. Wheels seem to track well and don't bind. Cushion is comfortable - not that I would spend a day in the office with it. Nice chair for the price. I'd buy it again.
