Make sure to adjust the needle and low speed screw for best idle/full throttle

This replaced a carb from a Tecumseh on a simplicity snowblower that was not running right even after a cleaning. This fit exactly as the one it replaced and worked after a bit of adjustment. The taper on the needle that goes in the bottom of the float bowl was more blunt than the stock needle and didn’t allow as much adjustment. I used the old needle and was able to fine tune the adjustment easier.

Worked perfectly

Went on fine, minimal adjustment needed. The choke plate/post needed to be installed, and was made of cheap plastic Once together it seems fine, overall,very happy with purchase.

Saved an old snowblower from being scrapped

My decades old snowblower finally didn't cut it anymore. I tried to get a new carb or a rebuilding kit from the normal sources but the price was ridiculous and not worth it. I took a chance with this very reasonable priced carb figuring "what do I have to lose" the snow blower was no good anyway. To my surprise I put the carb on which took about 5 minutes and started it up and it ran perfectly. I'm now good for another decade.

Stunningly priced part that actually works!

I may never rebuild a small engine carburator again! Right out of the box it was ready to run, and did. Tuning is required, and the only downside is that it required a thinner screw driver than the original Tucumseh carb, so, I had to get that from my tool box. Phenomenal price. I might order a second to have in the shelf.
