We have 4 between our two girls. I was always taught that your car seat is only as good as the install and these car seats are wonderfully easy to install. They are also super comfy rear and forward facing. Someone did mention that there is a sticker right smack dab in the middle of the seat - on the child's back and that it gets hot in the summer. That's right we live in Phoenix, AZ and we leave ice packs covering the plastic and metal parts of the straps while we run errands etc during the summer, and I just have a small washcloth I will cover that sticker with to avoid burning my children. It’s fine, no big deal. Yes, the straps are hard to adjust at first until you wear them in. No big deal. I think car seats are like that. Great seat otherwise. I researched so many seats and this one finally made me feel comfortable.

I bought this in target when it was on sale and I couldn't ask for a better and safer car seat! My daughter is 16 months old and still rear facing, she's so comfortable with the extended leg room! We were in an accident where my now totaled car spinned from the road into a neighborhood sign and she was laughing and playing in the back seat like nothing happened! Just added to cart and will be buying it again for my new car!

I am going to start this by saying I am a strong supporter of extended rear facing. As parents, this is something we should all look into. There are groups on Facebook who can explain why this is necessary and help us all find the best seat for our kiddos. Before my daughter turned 4, she outgrew the rear facing limits on her car seat. She was borderline 38-40lbs, so we decided to turn her forward. This did not sit well with me, so when this seat went on sale, I bought it. The Extend2Fit (E2F) has a rear facing limit of 50lbs, so my now 4yr old can sit in it easily. The seatbelt install was tricky but since she meets the limits of the LATCH, we used that. The cup holders are quite small, so we took them into Target and found a cup that works for it. The piece that extends out for a foot rest is absolutely amazing. It makes the install seem funny, but it is absolutely awesome. This is a seat I would definitely recommend for people who want to rear face for awhile and/or who have bigger kiddos. The picture is of my 4yr old, who will be 5 in July, happily rear facing. And no, her legs are not at a big risk for being injured. If you want more info on this seat google Graco Extend2Fit CSFTL review.

My Wife and I don't do the best at planning ahead. So when our kid was upgraded to a convertible car seat, we were extremely worried. My wife has a small coupe and we weren't sure if we would be able to find one that could fit. So when we went looking for car seats, we looked for the following: 1) we wanted something budget friendly because we are already spending an arm and leg for diapers. 2) we wanted something to keep our son cool. We have three digit temperatures where we are located at 3) something that could fit in a toyota corolla and the passenger didn't have to move their seat to the point where they were kissing the dash We were able to get all three elements taken care of. This was a very budget friendly convertible seat and the fact that it grows with the kid makes it that much better of a financial investment. The fabric allows a lot of breathing room for our son during the hot days. He does get a little sweat still on his back but that is normal with all car seats. I know he isn't bothered by the seat with the fact that he always passes out with each car ride. Lastly, we were able to still move the front passenger and driver seat all the way back with the baby seat in the middle. I am 6'0 and enjoy any little leg room I can get. We highly recommend this seat for your child.

This is our 5th child and our 8th car seat. We have had Sunshine Baby/Diono (2), Evenflo (2), Britax(2), and Graco (one before this one). I had to review this because it's my favorite of all the car seats we've ever had. Seriously. The Diono is heavy and very difficult to adjust, the Britax was alright but cumbersome, the Evenflos are the *worst* - cheaply made, stiff and cheap and thin and awful. And NONE of them have covers that are *easy* to launder. The Graco covers come off easily and are intuitive to put back together. The parts you want to be sturdy and safe are metal; latches, tether, etc. Yet the adjusting pieces are a sturdy plastic, sizeable, and easy to grasp. OH! That's the other thing. I could not, not, not get my hand into any of the others in the way I needed to; not for adjusting, not for installing, not for moving stuff around. I can get my paw all the way through the appropriate areas. The harness adjustment feature alone is enough to give Graco repeat business. And, I did not say any dirty words while installing. ;-) heeheehee

This is a great carseat! I love it. I have both my 3 year old and 1 year old in it. One is rear facing and the other forward facing. They both love their seats and are always comfortable looking. Their heads never fall forward while sleeping either. We were recently in a 6x rollover accident at 70mph with our boys in this brand of carseat. Neither of them were injured at all! I will never own another brand of seat.

I love this car seat. I have bought 3 so far!! One for myself, my husband and my mother... we all have this car seat in our cars and love it. My son grew quickly out of the Chicco infant car seat and I was scrambling to find something that would grow with him. He sits very comfortable in it. He also doesn't sweat a lot in it. I live in Florida and it is pretty hot year round. I wanted to find something that wouldn't make him too hot. So far this car seat has done an awesome job! I would recommend this car seat, I am very happy with it.

This seat saved my 11 month olds life in a serious collision. Three days ago, my husband, myself and our two youngest children (3 years & 11 mos) were hit head on by a drunk driver at highway speed in our minivan. We were hit and the spun 180 across two lanes and into a ditch and embankment. My 11 month old was in this car seat, middle row, drivers side. She is the only one in our vehicle that was totally and completely unscathed! When I pulled my baby out of her seat and saw that she was completely unharmed...not even a bruise I just kept repeating “the car seat did it’s job! It did it’s job!” Over and over. I am impressed. I am thankful. I will be buying this seat all over again to replace the one we just lost.

There are a few things about this seat that are total game changers: -50lb rear facing weight limit and NO standing rear facing height limit; all other seats on the market that rear face to 50lbs are so much more expensive and not nearly as compact -SO MUCH LEGROOM -affordable at $199!!! -super comfortable, just enough cushion, shoulder pads, infant head and body inserts -6 recline positions, 4 of which can be used rear facing -EASY TO INSTALL This seat just takes the cake. This is THE CARSEAT. If you're wondering if you should buy it, YES, buy it!!! Extended rear face! Rear facing is safer!! Rear face to 4 years!!

5 stars all the way! We switched my son into a convertible around 6 months when he could sit up. I first ordered the Evenflo Symphony when it was on a big price drop on Amazon because it had high safety reviews. I installed it in my vehicle, but still needed a second convertible for my husband. I liked the Symphony just fine, but as a FTM I had nothing to compare it to. I hate how my passenger seat is so far forward, leaving very little room for a front passenger's legs, so I spoke to a CPST about a more narrow seat. She recommended the Graco E2F as one of the more narrow seats on the market. So I watched Amazon and ordered this when the price dropped. I installed the E2F into my husband's truck. My son seems 10x happier and more comfortable in this seat!! It's WAY easier to strap him in and overall looks so much nicer. It also does take up considerably less space than my Evenflo Symphony. My son rarely rides with my husband so he's always stuck in his uncomfortable Symphony in my vehicle. I plan on swapping them out ASAP (when it warms up a bit) so my son can spend all his car time in this wonderful car seat in my Vehicle!!! For reference, I drive a 2010 Jeep Liberty. Before installing the E2F I set it on the other side of my back seat could tell it was noticeably narrower than the Evenflo so I knew it would work better. Also, my son is currently 29 inches and 21 pounds (10 months old) and he just sits so comfortably in this seat.
