Tell Amazon to pack correctly

These are really nice baking dishes. Love the big handles and seem to be really good quality, overall. HOWEVER, Amazon threw these in a box with absolutely no padding and 1 out of the 3 was shattered.

Made like the old Pyrex was made using the same type of Silica. It withstands the extreme temperature changes and is safer to use than the modern day Pyrex that uses a cheaper form of Silica.

I was tired of my Pyrex baking dishes exploding when I took them out of the oven (happened 3-4 times!!) so I invested in some of these. So far no exploding dishes!

Nicer than I expected

These baking dishes were nicer than I expected. The lids fit very tight, which gives me confidence the contents aren't going to spill in the fridge or freezer. The first time I used it, I made an egg bake and forgot to spray the pan with Pam. I didn't even need to! It washed up beautifully baked very evenly. I ordered 2 and they stack nicely in the cupboard.

I wanted a cake pan with a cover which allowed for toppings that were higher than the pan without messing them up. This pan and cover do the trick.

Love, love this pan

I love, love this pan. It’s sturdy and cleans easy. Stuff doesn’t stick. The lid is also well constructed and makes the product perfect to take food away from your kitchen. And it’s reasonable. What more could you ask for!

Used it for the first time tonight and it did not break

I was reading the one star reviews and nearly shat myself because I didn't bother to read them before I ordered the glass. The glass just went through 400 degrees temperature for about 35 mins and did not break. I was anxiously awaiting for the glass to explode inside of my oven and even anticipated being admonished by others whom I shared the kitchen with. I'll have you know that my glassware is completely in tact, I used a baking sheet on top of the glass and successfully baked some chicken. I don't know what these one-star reviewers were up to, but just because this type of glass could withstand high heat, doesn't mean it isn't glass. Handle with care, I guess?

Meatloaf Dedicated Pan Extraordinaire

Excellent pan for meatloaf, it's a bit larger than a regular loaf pan. I do bake homemade bread almost daily, but normally use a Dutch oven or a Pullman pan. Yet, this OXO glass pan made a superb Sourdough Banana Nut Bread loaf.

Every home should have some!

This is the cooking set I've been waiting for all my life! I love the ease and lack of worry about whether the glass might break.

Great Baking Dish

Great baking dish. Made of borosilicate glass, so very safe to use. Nice glass color and good handles. No little extra crannies to collect food, making it easy to clean.
