Great Tag! Great Price! Despite bad reviews.

I noticed this tag had some bad ratings so I decided to take a risk and buy it regardless. I also waited over three months to write this review so I could see how durable the tags were. As you can see from the photo, the text is PERFECTLY READABLE AFTER 3 MONTHS. You can see some wear on the very outside edge of the tag, but that is about it. Great value for the money you spend. Also if your dog is scratching so much that they take off the text, you may want to give them a flea bath or take them to the vet. This product is great.

Best price I’ve found and made in U.S.A. of Quality Materials!

My Dogs are microchipped and trained to stay on my property and come to my command, but if they happened to get off somewhere while away from me, like while being boarded when I was on vacation. I was worried that most people who find strays don’t bother taking lost pets to facilities to check if they have a Chip! Your lucky if they post a pic on local FB pages. So it’s good to have updated I.D. Tags on your pet so they can contact you directly. First, thing I Love about these Tags are the Quality Aluminazed made in U.S.A construction and laser etched engraving that is very legible so should last a lifetime or until I change any info. That brings me to the second thing I like, which is the 3 lines off available info! Most Pet Store tags I’ve seen in the past only offered me 2 lines. Next, is of course the price. I doubt you can find any Tag at a better price even cheap quality material made overseas ones cost more these! They, have a decent selection. Nothing super fancy but with additional color options you shouldn’t have a problem finding one too match your Dog’s Collar. If I could think of any negative at all it’s the tiny Split Rings that come with pretty much all Pet I.D. Tags, as a guy who trims his nails I can never get these things a part and on to my Dogs Collar Ring. So I always just use a GOOD Strong Zip Tie. Finally, with Prime my Shipping was Free and the seller took no time personalizing the Tag completing my order and it was shipped/delivered well before the expected date I was given when I placed the Order.

Edit: I've had this tag on my cat's collar since 9/2016 and it's still perfect. The only place where the color wears off is the opening where the ring goes, just from it moving. The tag itself doesn't have any issues. Will be moving in 6 weeks or so and will be ordering another one (or 2). My cat has a habit of squeezing his chubby butt past us and running out my apartment door and into the hallway. I'm always worried that someone might open the outside door and he will get startled and run out. I really needed a tag for his collar. The ones at PetSmart are nice but too pricey for what they are. So when I found these I was thrilled. I wasn't sure how they would look considering how much they cost, but they are actually really nice. My only complaint is how small the font is on the bottom row, but it can still be ready easily. I think they bigger tags wouldn't have the problem. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the tag, it's the perfect size for him and very legible. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced pet tag!

Great tag for the price!

I have since ordered 3 more for each of my three corgis and just love them! My cats are strictly indoor cats but my cat Nala has taken to trying to run out the front door since she turned a year old. She wants to chase bugs and such and I just don't feel comfortable having her outside. I did want to safeguard her in case she did take off though so I got her microchipped. A lot of people don't check for chips though so a tag was a necessity too. I thought $3.50 was an amazing price so ordered one from here for my cat. It not only arrived 2 days before the expected delivery date but it was the perfect size and such for her. It came with the tag and a loop to affix it to her collar. Now it is not engraved as they say in the listing because engraved means to have actually went into the tag with an engraving but it is still a quality piece and I really like it. It went on my cats collar easily and looks really nice on her. Even though my other cats tend to stay indoors I will definitely be ordering more so they each have their own. If you are wanting to get a tag for your pet. Whether it be dog or cat, then these ones are great quality for such a low cost! They also donate food to shelters which is another bonus in my book!

Just what we needed.

One of my 2 pups decided to escape the yard on Dec. 23, and was missing for over 5 hours. I spent 3 hours in the car with my 2 babies calling for my dog. He had a collar on, but unfortunately he had previously lost his id tag. Thankfully someone found him and we were reunited. But that made me instantly need to get both pups new id tags in case this ever happens again, but I didn't want to break the bank on new tags (you know the ones in the pet store that are $20+). Found these, and figured for the price it was worth trying! Glad I did. These are just like the regular tags and holders. I got the paw print in green and pink, and though it says large, its perfect for both my Lab and Shih Tzu. It allows for enough room to be able to read the tag and hopefully get them home if they are ever lost again. Feels to be made of the same metal material that all other tags are made of. Is nicely engraved and clear and easy to read.

VERY good product for the price!

This tag definitely met our expectations. We have a German shepherd mix with long coat so we wanted his tag to be visible. We ordered a large blue paw shape. His name is very clear, with a bigger font, and so is our address and phone number (smaller font). It has a nice color, too (my dog may be color blind but he's still fashionable ;) ). Also, it was delivered 3 days before expected and the customer service was very efficient (after customizing the tag I had to refresh the page and wasn't sure if the changes were saved. I emailed the company and their staff member double checked all the information for me within an hour of the original email). I'll definitely order again in case he loses this one or we move!

Cute! Perfect

Fast response to my email! I was worried if it was going to be too big and heavy for my cat but it's nice and light! Good chrome base. Excited to put on my cat after he comes back from his spontaneous adventure outside. :) P.s it doesn't come in a package so look for a white envelope! I almost threw mine out.

Fit the Bill Perfectly

Be careful not to add too many characters on each line as the font gets smaller to make it fit. For my pets Bob and Tom, it's perfect, but for Prometheus, it was a bit small. They are still beautiful and serve the purpose perfectly. I wanted the tag to say "I'm Microchipped," so that if my kitties get away from me, anyone who finds them will know to take them to a vet to have them scanned. Not everyone chips cats, so it was important to have that on their tags. This product allowed me to give their name, phone number, city and state, and "I'm Microchipped." Now I feel safer letting my kitties outside. Also, each kitty gets a different color to match their collar. They look very stylish!

Lifesaver

I have three pets; two dogs and a cat. I've had bad experiences with my eldest dog running away (one time of which I ran into a busy street to get him) and I panicked, knowing he didn't have any identification aside from his rabies tag. My cat and chihuahua are my newest additions, so to avoid all this mess, I got all three of them their own tag with their name and my phone number in case they get lost. It's not a guarantee that they'll be returned if they do get lost, but it definitely maximizes their chances. I feel safe knowing they have their tags on. The only minor issue I have is that my chihuahua likes to shake her head, and the tag scrapes against her rabies tag and the ID tag chipped a bit on the sides, but the text is still bright and standing even after such brutal use! She's very rowdy and wrestles with the cat, and both their tags are still in very good condition. I couldn't be any more grateful for these tags. Definitely recommend.
