Lost arrows came home

I bought this because I took up archery. Forgot that I might miss the target. Shooting in my backyard slightly elevated The arrows would go just under the grass. Arrived on time took 15 minutes to put together works like a champ. You’ll need two 9 V batteries. It took about 20 to 30 minutes but found the two arrows that I had lost earlier. There’s $12 saved. I would have never found them without this to detector. Works great for me, and I bet my grand daughters will have a blast with it also.

Great for Scanning & Searching for Lost Items

For my purpose, this product is perfect. I do not plan to use it to locate buried treasures or artifacts but just skimming over areas were there could be lost coins or jewelry, ie parks, playgrounds, beaches, etc. Works great for that purpose at the few park/playgrounds were I used it. Also worked well for locating/finding spent ammo casings to clean/police shooting area. Trenching tool not all that useful, nor was booklet. Instead a collection bag/attachment would be more useful.

Lightweight

The unit arrived packed in a a box with formed packing to protect the lightweight metal detector. You will need to provide 2 9-volt batteries. After the easy assembly, I was off to find my buried sprinkler heads! Who thought this would be so useful in the garden? The shovel is a nice add-on to the kit with a carry bag for it. Detecting works as expected, finding all my irrigation devices. Use headphones to hear the beeping and on very low volume as you can hear it very clear. Easy to disassemble to place in your trunk and use on the beach to find buried treasure! Overall great unit for the price.

Fun for grandson

Grandson loves it, bringing home all kinds of metal objects, not sure whose yards all the stuff is coming from. The shovel is still working well, gets plenty of use. Bought in 3 months ago, still going strong, passed the grandson test, good gift.

Perfect beginner metal detector

This was the perfect gift for my niece, she loves it. We had it set up in less than 5 minutes. You can adjust the length, so its suitable for kids and adults. It seems pretty robust and well built and I like the extras that came with it, especially the beginners guide book. We tested it out in the garden and it works great. I don't think you'll find a better metal detector for the money. Looking forward to finding some treasure with her. Recommended.

It works perfect for my use

I bought this for finding property markers and cleaning up some woods of trash. It worked for maybe ten minutes and then the needle would stay pegged and the alarm wouldn't shut off after it sensed any metal. I had to turn it off and back on to reset the detector. I thought it was broken. It turns out the first set of batteries I used were not as new as I thought. I put in some cheapy new batteries right from the store and it worked perfect after that. With the low power batteries, it also had about a 1-2" diameter search area. With the new ones, it used the entire 8" diameter detector and then some. I am happy with it.
