I replaced the rear step bumper on my 2001 Sierra after an accident. The MAP replacement bumper was delivered quickly and went onto my truck without any modification. Everything fit well and looks just as good as an OEM bumper for much less. The fit was excellent and looked like it had never been replaced after all was done. . Super pleased, would recommend MAP to anyone needing a bumper.

Fit as expected 05 Silverado 1500

We brought the truck to a shop to have the bumper installed. The only problem with installation they had was not relevant to the bumper, but the existing rust on the truck. Less than $150 on a well loved truck to have a bumper that likely will outlast the truck, can't complain. It looks good, I expect it to rust over time, but hey you get what you pay for.

Good replacement for a rusted bumper. Looking good now.

This was a pretty good match to my old bumper. It took me a few hours to change out, mostly time taking the rusted and tight bolts off. The new one went on pretty smoothly. My only complaint was with Chevy for making the installation more complicated than it needed to be - brackets that have to be removed completely etc. But this new bumper looks good, complete with all the plastic trim and new bolts. Although I used the old bolts as much as possible because they appeared to have a better corrosion protection than the ones that came with the new. The only difference was the trailer hitch connection bolts to the bumper were a bit different size. Other than that the only other issue was a missing bracket, but I used the old one and kept on going. I hate to drive a rusty truck.

Purchased this rear bumper for my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500. Old bumper was rusted through. Had a slight delay on the shipping but product seemed to be decent quality and it went on smooth and fit my truck perfectly. Had all necessary brackets and bolts for the install. It also came with plastic trim and pads, new wire harness for plate marker lights and new bulbs. It's a complete bumper package so for the money, its seems like a great deal. Would recommend for an inexpensive replacement that looks great.

The bumper was delivered on time,& was very easy to install. I do have auto repair background,& was thinking as I put it on,If I didn't know auto repair this might not be as easy,because there were no instruction. I was very pleased with the quality, the price,& delivery time. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a replacement bumper !!!

Good quality, looks and feels the same as the original.

It looks factory correct, and comes with everything except the lock cylinder and plastic for the spare tire tube. It comes with license plate lights and screws, but as someone else pointed out, its missing the little holes the factory bumper has to ziptie the license plate wiring to the bumper. No big deal though, just pointing out the only difference I noticed. It takes at least one if not two people to hold it up and position it while you put in the bolts from underneath, and there are several bolts that need to be put in. It took longer than I thought it would to install--maybe an hour. Overall, I am happy with this and happy I didnt buy a used one instead for a little less money.

great price on a good replacement for the Chevy bumper that is known to rust. Looks like the original. Includes everything you will need, even new lights and wiring if you don't have the originals. No need to chase down new hardware or use the old ones - everything is included. You will need the two bolts for the platform hitch to the bottom of the bumper if your truck has one. Sinister is a great seller to deal with in the event of any issues that may arise.

Functionally identical to OEM

My OEM bumper had rusted out (1999 Silverado 2500), replaced it with this. There are very few differences between this and the OEM bumper and this...structurally and functionally they are 100% identical. I can't speak to the longevity of this bumper, but I sprayed the back with CorrosionX, I suspect this will outlast the rest of the vehicle (it's a 20 year old truck). For the money, this a great value.

Perfect. I Could Not Be More Satisfied.

I put this on my '03 Silverado. It fit perfectly, and it looks fantastic. It's identical to the original, and just as heavy. All the brackets, bolts, lights, wiring and other accessories were there, and fit perfectly as well--the only exception being the tube cover for the spare tire crank, I had to move the old one to the new bumper. The height is adjustable, just tighten the bolts holding the brackets to the bumper last while positioning the bumper at the height you want. TIP: I started dousing the old rusty bolts and nuts with Kroil a few weeks in advance, and they came off with an ordinary socket wrench.
