Bought this to replace an old bathtub mat that was past its prime. Our old one constantly trapped water (and assumably, bacteria) underneath and was causing little bubbles to form under the bath surface. This one is great! It's super easy to pull up and drain after bath time so that the bath surface and the mat dry well. It's also cute and cushy and the kids really like it.

I have a small, non- textured tub. It fits like a glove. From the other reviews on here I just cut the chase and added about half inch of water and stuck it to the bottom starting from on end working my way to the other end, trying to hit all the suction cups I could. I have to really yank on this thing when we're done with the bath to get it to let go! I feel like its cushiony enough to be comfortable for my son as well as safe. He sure doesn't slip and slide all around. (Btw he just decided he wasn't gonna sit in his bath seat anymore 😭, he wants to crawl around in the tub, and that's why I bought this.) The mat was rolled up when it came in the mail but after 3 baths now its getting flat and trust me, it is having NO problem sticking to the floor (again, non-textured tub). Also, slight smell, also gone, nothing to cry about, it IS plastic. All plastic smells. Ever smelled a burning tire? 😷 And to the one person who said something about a black mark/stain, mine had one too.. Also washed off.. Wahhh.. I love this mat. Glad I found it. Makes bath time fun and safe. And saves me a nightly heart attack.

Since about six months old, my son has wanted to stand. Stand in bed, stand on the fireplace, stand in the tub... So we've been looking for solutions for the slippery tub. We actually had some of those stickers that you 'stick' to the bottom of your tub added to our shopping cart. They only had a 3 star review but it was the best we could find. And then I saw this! This is brilliant. Well, I mean, it's simple but certain features make it extra nice. *It isn't one solid surface. There are ripples and gaps throughout the mat to allow air and water flow to discourage mildew and mold. *It has a hook so you can hang it up. Brilliant! Now, we rarely do that and we have had no issues but that extra feature is a great idea. *The size is perfect. It's not so big that you have to place it juuuuust soooo in the tub but it's big enough that it covers the majority of the bottom. My children are super solid on this mat. I have never once felt like they were going to slip or fall while standing in the bathtub. Now this might just be my next go to baby shower gift...

Serves its purpose well. It takes some hot water and time standing on it to get it to flatten out completely, and I recommend warming and moistening it with bath water to get it to stick to the bottom of the tub better. That said, the bottom of my bath tub is a little bit textured and most of the suction cups do in fact stick to it, not all, but enough to keep it it place. The hanger notches on the ends are wonderful. I blame the imperfect suction cup stick-factor on my textured bathtub, not the mat, if I stick it to the side of the tub where it’s perfectly smooth it sticks wonderfully and requires a good yank to remove. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed product.

This is my 2nd Boon bathmat. Love these because you hang them up over the shower head and they last forever. The one I’m replacing is a little off in color, but it’s still in great shape. Only reason I’m swapping it out is because it’s very old, and I can’t convince myself it’s not teaming with bacteria at this point. A note to the folks who are disappointed with unboxing, I say give them a chance! They do soften up with time and use. IMO Boon mats outlast the cheaper ones by miles and miles if you clean them well and hang between use.😊

Got this for my 10 month olds first big boy bath! It works great. It doesn’t always stick to the bottom right away but once he sits on it there are no problems. I love that I can hang it up so no mold! And no extra cleaning! #momwin! Also, we only have one bathroom so hanging it up keeps it out of the way.

I absolutely love this bath mat! Don't waste your time on anything else. I tried multiple bathmats and none of them would stay put. This bathmat stayed from the first bath! It also very convenient how it hangs from your shower so it can dry. The only thing that I didn't like the really strong chemical smell when I opened the package. I washed it really well before I used it and that seemed to help substantially.

We’ve had this for a while now and have zero complaints! No mildew/mold, my toddler has never slipped, the suction cups keep it in place really well, it drains well and I love that it hangs on our shower head. It fits our standard tub really well. About 2-3 extra inches at the back of the tub, but my son never really goes beyond that anyway. I highly recommend this product.

Ok I feel like maybe it’s weird how much I love a bath mat? But this one is so good for our family. We only have one shower and I just do not like standing on a mat in the shower. Plus I know my bf totally pees in the shower and I don’t want our son sitting on a pee mat. The hook on this makes it easy to hang on the shower faucet when baby isn’t actually taking a bath.

Ok, some people complained they couldn't get the suckers to stick because it was so stiff. Look, of course when it's packaged it's all rolled up so there are some lumps to work out. You know what does that? One hot bath. Just one will loosen it right up, the suction cups will work as intended. I love that I can hang it on the shower head so it can dry out and mold won't grow. Give it a chance, it's a nice bath mat!
