I really love this Headlamp! It's very easily adjustable to your head, and it stays on. You can wear a cap, and it sits right on top of it. The adjustable 45 degree angle is a great feature. Hands free lighting was never easier! It took a few minutes to figure out the buttons, but they work best with your fingers - without gloves. The 160 Lumens are very bright, too bright for taking out the dog at night, otherwise, her eyes would be damaged. I just give it another click onto low, and it's perfect for taking her outside. I can see everything very well on low, giving our dog a little light in order for her to find her sweet spot. Oh just GO! would you girl? Ha Ha! As I said, the 160 lumens is very bright, and I love to use that setting in my winter garden, opening my low garden hoops at night to harvest carrots, etc. I know it will come in handy in our crawl space, under the sink, anywhere where I need hands free lighting. Wonderful product!

Bought these for a Ragnar Trail Run in Richmond VA. It was crazy hot and these stayed steady on my and my husbands head. We both survived our night run with this bright head lamp. You can adjust the light tilt too. That was nice after the trail and needing to not blind everyone. Now my kids love this as a "spy" light. The red light is fun for them to hide outside. Solid investment for a reasonable price.

Excellent device. Compared it to my friend's much more expensive headlamp and this one is basically the same weight. Used it for hours on a long camp trip without any dimming, and the red light function is excellent. The only slight con is that red light, thought it also comes as a pro, depending on your use case. This light has a pretty wide and "dim" red light function. Compared to some other brands, that focus the red a bit more, this one is a bit more tricky to navigate at night with, especially at dusk when there's some competing light. On the flip side, this dimmer and more distributed red makes this a FAR better headlamp for close range activities, like cards or reading. Because I did both, I'm still leaving this at a 5 star review, though perhaps it's more like a 4.5 (depending on your primary use case).

The popularization of CREE lights has generated so many products claiming thousands and thousands of lumens that I wondered how this product's advertized 120 lumens could possible be enough, but I bought it because it is light in weight and can be directed down so that I can see what I'm working on with my hands around the house, which is what I bought it for. At ten bucks it was worth a shot. The light I was using for this prior to this purchase had 5 lights on it and was so heavy that the band stretched too much and lost elasticity. It turns out that 120 honest lumens is a lot and the lesser setting of 60 lumens is also enough for me to see what I'm working on. It's also bright enough to illuminate a walk in the dark. The elastic headband appears to be substantial. The only complaint I have applies to all CREE lights I have used or seen: I don't need a strobe and I don't know anyone who does. Putting a strobe setting in the clicking order just makes a flashlight more inconvenient to use. However, a red light can be useful at night, and a good feature of this light is that the red light is on a separate switch, so I don't have to click through it to use the white light. This light is a good, practical, well designed device. I'm going to give some of these lights as stocking stuffers. I haven't had it long enough to comment on battery life. I liked the light so much I ordered three more to give as X-mas presents.

Great headlamp. Blinding light. Just what I needed during a power outage. Ordered June 20 (without Prime), arrived July 5. Solid construction, headband expands to fit the largest head or over a hat, 5 adjustable lamp positions, lightweight. Takes 2 seconds to install the 3 AAA supplied batteries. Perfect for reading to pass the time during a power outage, but don't look in a mirror with lamp on or you'll blind yourself. Seriously. I couldn't be happier and recommend this headlamp. Unless you need one for extremely rugged outings where you'd need some heavy duty product that is also waterproof (this one is water resistant, though) and are willing to spend more, this is all you need.

WOW!!!!! That pretty much sums it up. The low setting for the white light is plenty bright for walking the dogs; the high setting practically illuminates the entire RV park. In fact, I was afraid the neighbors might think the high beam was a police spotlight patrolling the area. LOL Seriously, I've had several different headlamps over the years, and this one is hands-down THE absolute BEST one of all. Update: this light is so awesome that my husband started using the first one, so I bought a new one for myself - his head is much bigger than mine, now I don't have to adjust the straps to fit.

Usually read on my Kindle but just started a series of books that are not on Kindle or even in print anymore. Found a source. The books are 600 pages with very small print on yellowed paper. Tried my husbands head light and it was heavy and awkward for me. Found these on Amazon. Used them two day and I am sold. Wow. Great light. Setting are easy. Don't slip on the forehead. Perfect reading. Does not disturb my husbands sleep. I am delighted. Literally.

So far this light survived a 9 day long camping trip to Maine and an additional three day weekend camping trip. Seems of great quality for the money, but I will admit I'm not exactly a pro when it comes to headlamps. Does have plenty of light with a pretty wide pattern, yet a much brighter amount of focused light in the center. The red light is nice for not disturbing others when you just need a dim light in the middle of the night, Time will tell, but so far this has been well worth the money and I am hoping this light will have many more trips in it!

I bought this light 6 months ago after researching all of the different headlamps available on Amazon. I spent a lot of time digging through all of the lights and reading reviews. I went with this one and it's perfect! I use the light for running at night and early morning. The headlamp is very lightweight and stays in place. It is not bulky and once I'm running I forget it's on my head. The brightness is adjustable (highbeam and lowbeam) which is a great feature. I actually use the lowbeam because the highbeam is actually too bright (this is a good thing!!). The most important feature is the TILT. I researched many of these lights that just point straight forward. Well I don't run with my neck craned toward the ground so what's the point of having a light that points straight ahead. This light has adjustable tilt so you can run with your head up and the light still hitting the ground in front of you. You can adjust it to any tilt that you prefer. For me this was a must have feature for running. I use this light 3-4 times per week and it's one of the best purchases I have ever made for running. I shop on amazon all the time and this is one of the very few reviews I've ever bothered to write. The product is that perfect.

I now own three of these headlamps. (For me and my two sons) I am a Boy Scout leader and we camp 12 months a year. Needless to say me and my boys are rough on our stuff and are always concerned with space in our backpacks. These headlamps are compact enough to fit in either a pocket of what ever you are wearing, or anywhere in a backpack without taking up too much space. They have a bright and dim setting on both the white light and red light buttons which is great. I find this a must for either walking through a camp site looking for things the boys may have left out for the raccoons (bright light) :-), or digging through your backpack while in your tent (either red light to not lose your night vision, or dim white light). The 3 (AAA) batteries last quite a while (although I haven't timed it yet, but it feels like a long time) and is sealed from the elements so a little rain, mist, fog, or mud won't hurt it. I'd gladly recommend these to my other scouts and friends that need a small, effective, durable headlamp.
