Super fantastic!

This thing works unbelievably well! I have a new truck and I unforgettably so smoke in it. I have tried every kind of chemical air freshener. Most work for a short while then usually stop. This thing in a span of a few days has eliminated all odor from my vehicle...zero odor. I've asked others to comment and they smell nothing. I think this product works much better then regular charcoal products due to how you position it. Its placement is higher up since its attached to the head read allowing the convection current of a interior of a hot car/truck to flow around it. Most charcoal solutions like this you place on the ground usually and not much airflow gets around it limiting its effectiveness. Recommended product! You will not be sorry..and good value. Its a fairly large item compared to other charcoal sachets.

Dry it out and let it loose, it works great

I was disappointed at first but here is what I found out. Do not secure it tightly, it is best to keep it loose so it can swing a little. Also very important to dry it out on sun even before the first use, I left it behind the windshield on the sun and that did the job. For the first 2 days it was not changing anything and I thought oh well, I wasted 20 buck. But once I dried it and let it loose as described below it took any smells away from my car, seriously amazing.

Works great for mysterious stench in car

My car started developing a wet moldy stench last year. We tried everything the mechanic advised, blew Lysol through all the vents, etc etc. it still stank. I put two of these on the backs of the car seats as shown and within two days there was a marked improvement. I had already tried several other products that did nothing so I highly recommend this product for bad smelling cars.

Love these things

Love these things. I get migraines and the scent from traditional air fresheners would compound a migraine setting in. (Normally when I feel a migraine coming I will immediately drive home so I can lay down, the air freshener would just bring the migraine on faster). So the LACK of smell, not only keeps my a car feeling fresh on a day to day basis but, also helps when it comes to smell sensitivity. Originally had the lighter color but changed out for this darker to match the interior of my car.

Effective odor neutralizer

So I had a curdled milk smell in my car. I bought one of those car bomb air freshener things which covered up the curdled milk but made me feel like I was riding around with a guy with way too much cologne. So I ordered the Purggo car air freshener and I am happy to say that it is getting rid of the cologne smell very nicely. I was just aiming for absence of odor and that's what this will get you. I bought the grey and it blends in with my grey upholstery without being too noticeable.

Discreet and effective

I have two dogs that travel with me several times a week to and from various walking trails. Often they get into the car wet or muddy and that leaves an odor that later even I, with a bad nose, can smell. After one week with Purgggo in the vehicle I've noticed a huge difference and others have as well. We'll see how it holds up over time but it was easy to install, looks very discreet and doesn't smell like a cheap perfume air freshener you'd find in an NYC taxi.

No more smoke

I bought a truck from a smoker. I did the appropriate steps of cleaning every surface of the interior. I also sprayed ozium into the intake of the air conditioning. After about 2 weeks there was still a smoke odor and some days it seemed to be worse than others for no reason. The cleaning definitely helped but it was still an issue. After putting this in the truck, after about 2 days the smell was practically non existent. I didn't even realize it until about a week in that the smell is totally gone for the most part. So much so that I could resell the truck if I wanted to and nobody would be able to tell there was a smoker. I am happy with my purchase and highly reccomend it. There is no such thing as a miracle product, so if you dont thoroughly clean your interior and neutralize the air ducts, don't be surprised if you still have some odors. This product along with the proper steps brought me the results I was looking for. I am happy I found this.

If You Smoke in Your Car - You NEED This!

I was very skeptical about this Car Air Freshener. I have spent hundreds of dollars on many products that claim to rid vehicles of odors, especially smoke odors. I have quite a few smokers in my family, and friends that smoke as well. I have learned over the years to never use the ashtrays in cars, and I buy the self extinguishing ashtrays that sit in the cup holders....like this one - Roadpro X-Large Self-Extinguishing Ashtray - Roadpro RP-452L....or the short ones. With these ashtrays, you can empty them every day and the ashes/butts are not left in the car's ashtray. These ashtrays work, but you can still smell smoke. My husband bought me one of those little air fresheners you stick in the vent...and it smelled really good but it was very overpowering....and I love strong scents. So I saw This Purggo Freshener and decided to give it a try. I took it out of the package and put it in my car immediately. I live in Central Texas where it has been over 100 degrees for well over a month...with the Heat Index over 110 degrees. Every day. To me...everything stinks worse when it's hot. So between the smoke smell...and dog smells and just everyday smells...my car stinks REALLY bad! I had to get new tires on my car the next day....and I didn't tell me husband about the new Purggo that I hung behind my drivers seat head rest. You can't really see it because my interior is the same Charcoal color of the Purggo....and because the seats in my car are fairly tall and my windows are tinted Limo dark. The Purggo works SO WELL that he didn't even smell the Glad Vent freshener he put in there. He asked me if I took it down, and I pointed to it stuck in my vent. He thought something was wrong with it because he definitely didn't smell it. I showed him the Purggo and told him what it is and what is is supposed to do and that I had put it in the car the day before. He asked me to get him one, so I did just that. I took all the other air fresheners out of my car because this Purggo works so well that you can't smell ANYthing!! There's no smell whatsoever. If you want to put a nice smelly in your car with the Purggo....you'll be wasting your money. Unless you take the Purggo out for a few days and hang a freshener up. But then if you/anyone smokes in your car it will stink again. Bottom Line - this things does exactly as it says - it takes ALL the smells out of your vehicle. As for how long it will work, I've only had mine for a week so I will post updates every few months....good or bad. Would I recommend? ABSOLUTELY! It is a bit pricey...but if I don't have to spend any more money to get rid of the smells...I think this Purggo Air Freshener is worth every penny!

This Thing works!

This thing works! I bought a used truck with a really strong cigarette smoke odor inside. Every time I opened the door of the truck I got a strong whiff of cigarette! It got to the point I would cringe each time! I put on this PURGGO Car Air Freshener and within 48 hours the smell was completely gone! There is no longer ANY odor inside my truck. This air freshener also looks good inside a vehicle (as opposed to something sitting on the dash inside a white plastic container or hanging on the rear view mirror. Just mount the PURGGO behind the seat and enjoy the smell of....nothing!
