I bought this lamp for my wife. She is a dentist and once a year she does voluntary work in a rural area. This lamp is light, so the weight on top of the protective glasses is not a problem. The battery lasted for the whole week using it 6 hours each day. The clip opens wide, so it can be used in any frame. The round knob can be used to dim the light, which is not really need it for dentist work.

Game changer

I have been a hygienist for 10 years and put off buying one because of cost. This light works great, fits my loupes well and makes my appointments so much easier. No more moving the light every few minutes. Love it. If it brakes down the road I would totally buy another one.

I actually really like this light. Beats paying hundreds for a loupe light. I’ve been pleasantly surprised how long this has lasted. I’m going on nearly 6 months. I’ve been thinking it would give out on me and I have to buy an expensive loupe light, but this one has been going strong. I’ll ride the wave until it gives out, if it ever does. Money well spent! I bought a second as backup recently.

I am a dental hygienist that travels. I have loupes that I purchased 11 years ago from Orascoptic. This light clipped on perfectly. You can adjust the brightness. It held a charge for a day and a half. I actually purchased another one as a gift for a fellow traveling hygienist. The price was right, especially since I know of so many RDH's buying the expensive ones and having issues with them.

Love it with my magnifying glasses!

Love it.very lightweight and charges quickly.I wear bifocals so I use it with my magnifying glasses with work, cheaper than getting loupes.

Makes a great surgical or procedural headlight when interfaced with headgear.

I interfaced this with HOBART headgear which I purchased for $12 to make an excellent surgical headlight, saving myself many hundreds of dollars over similar (but heavier) surgical headlights available from surgical supply companies. The light output is excellent at full brightness. I put the battery pack in a smartphone belt clip holder (also purchased from Amazon). The whole setup cost less than $50.

Pretty Good ... for the Price

The light, the charger, and the battery came in a nice but useless carry case. They packed everything so tight into that 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 inch case that once you unpack them forget about packing them back into that case. The charger seems to do its job, the battery seems to hold the charge well overnight, and the light provides reasonable day while illumination. However, the clips are too thin and weak to hold the light steady onto any goggles or loupes. My face shield presses against the light and kind of keeping it in its place. So it worked out for me. I give it a 5 stars because it only costs $30.00.

Excellent for the price

Excellent for the price. My expensive headlamp went out and I decided to try this much cheaper version until I could contact a rep to buy another that goes with my Dental Loupes. I had very low expectations for this lamp but was very pleasantly surprised. It seems to only have 1 brightness setting but it is sufficient for most procedures. The light beam isn't quite as focused as a true dental light but you can't beat the price/functionality for a quick replacement. The battery life has been really great as well. I have used it for a couple procedures a day (4 day work weeks) and have only had to charge it once in the past 3 weeks.I would definitely buy this product again if it decides to stop working!

This is a great light. I am a dental hygienist and the light helps me so much to see during cleanings. The light attaches easily to my safety glasses and it is not heavy at all. The light stays charged all day for all my dental cleanings. So glad I found this.

My wife is a hygienist and uses this light every day. She was sceptical at first but now says she could never work without it. Battery lasts all day. She charges it up over night for the next day but has never witnessed the battery fade or die so it may last more than one full day.
