Best looking cat in the neighborhood

Tillamook (my cat, not the cheese) has been informed that he will not be allowed outside naked, so he helped me choose these reflective collars for him and his sister to wear when they go out exploring. It took both of them a little while to get used to the included bell, but this is a great feature for me, as I can find the cats relatively easy not. The collars are easy to install, and when the cats return, they can be easily removed (I love the break-away feature, you just have to pull it apart). Yesterday, we received the ID tags I ordered, and they were easy to attach (using the bell ring) as well. Tillamook is SO excited to be able to go outside instead of having to sit in the house singing about the great outdoors.

These are the best breakaway collars I've found yet! The cat that adopted us (and is pretty much an outside cat due to that being his natural state) is a bush ninja and every collar we tried on him went missing within a day. However, this collar has prevailed! He still has it on! It's been months. We finally trusted the collar enough to put his ID tags on it. The reflective part of the collar is nice, but I don't see it being obvious enough to people driving/etc. It's a pretty sturdy, fabric collar although fraying/etc is definitely to be expected if your cat goes outdoors. Fantastic buy. If we ever go through the three provided, would buy again.

I dub thee ‘bunny saver’

I bought these bc our cat is indoor outdoor and it’s springtime, which means half the yards in our neighborhood look like scenes from Bambi. The last thing I want is my cat’s mugshot on the neighborhood Facebook page with an accompanying, “Whose cat just senselessly murdered all the baby bunnies and chipmunks and left them by my back door?!?” It makes for an uncomfortable time. I needed something that would warn the poor creatures a predator higher on the food chain was nearby. Hence the need for the bell. I also needed something which would break away if it really got stuck, but not if my cat was scratching her ear. I don’t want my cat hanging her self in the forest now that she can’t murder innocent critters. These are between 7-11” long and have a ~3-4” diameter when clipped together (see pic). The clip requires you to pull it apart, no pinching. There’s a reflective ring around it. The bell is not overly loud so I don’t think it will become annoying indoors. It’s loud enough I think creatures in nature should be able to hear it and save themselves from the natural order of the food chain.

They arrived as expected and are good for the price. I do like they are breakaway and reflective. Took the bells off and using the ring to put name tags on 2 of them. 3rd collar didn't come with a ring. Seller offered to send a whole new pkg of 3 with no strings. Though I did not wish to do that he still re-imbursed me and would not take "No Thanky You" for an answer until he was satisfied that he had done all he could to make it perfect. This is I'd say a 200% Customer Service oriented company and I would recommend to anyone. That is why I have revised this review to a 5 vs. my original 3. I have absolutely no complaints. :)

Happy with this purchase

Good quality and definitely worth the price I paid ($9.99)! My cats' old collars were worn and ratty looking, so I wanted to get them looking a little cleaner, plus I wanted the reflective strip in case they ever get out at night (esp important with my dark fur-babies). The colors are bright, the plastic buckle's breakaway/tear threshold seems good and the collar overall has a quality feel while also being lightweight. I didn't notice until I received them that the buckle is a little kitty face, which I find pretty cute. But I was worried they might not find them comfortable since the the plastic ears on the buckle are a little pointy and also because their last collars were so worn in and we all know how cats do with change ;P But no, they don't seem to notice a difference in the least! If they're happy, I'm happy!

breakaway, reflective, wider, quieter

Update: Ordered a second set this week. Like the new ziplock keeper bag. Same great quality as the first order. But I wonder where all the last ones are. I don't know if our cat is giving them out to his friends or if the others are jealous and stealing them from him. These are great collars and they ARE breakaway collars. Our cat is indoor/outdoor and was losing his collar every couple of months. I got tired of running to the store every time so decided to buy this 3pack. Unlike what I was buying, aside from being way less expensive, these seem to be much more comfortable for the cat due to them being a little wider. What's more, the bell isn't nearly as loud (read: better sleep for me) and it's nice to have a reflective collar should he ever decide to cross the street (he's a scaredy cat and doesn't leave the yard).

Great collar, great price

I have three adoptee/abandoned cats on my five acres. They keep the moles & mice at bay but also bring me chipmunks, hummingbirds & other assorted critters I would prefer alive... I bought these collars in the hope the little bell would a bit of a deterrent in the 'chipmunk' catching department. The collars are well made , cute ( the clip is a little cat head), easy to adjust & get on the cat... and they ARE breakaway. If you pull the clasp, it does come apart without breaking and your pet can't get caught & choked by the collar. The bell tinkles softly when the kitties jog or run but is silent when they just walk. I love hearing the soft sound when they parade down the stairs. So far, the cats are all pretty ticked off at me because they've never worn a collar, especially one that makes noise! The rest of the critters( w/ the exception of moles who apparently ARE hard of hearing) are happy & prosperous.

**Tip 2 Save $$$**

I bought 3 accepting that as some reviewers mentioned these collars would fall off. After 3 days, with 2 lost (+1 found in yard lost again), I realized that in order to keep the neighbors happy and give the bunny rabbits fair warning from my predatory cat, I would have to make this last collar work. It was that or buy some sort of harness and that option just sounds demeaning. SOLUTION: The clasp is plastic and will come apart from normal use unless reinforced. I strung a piece of hemp string (wick) through the top of both sides of the clasp and tied a few knots. A week later this shows no sign of loosening, and the 3rd and final collar (with this fix) is perfect. So save yourself some $$$ just buy one, and with the money you saved buy some beeswax hemp wick. As far as sizing - My cat is pretty lean, these collars are not size-adjustable, so if you have a big cat good luck getting these on. But for most cats I think the one-size-fits-all is ideal, as they don't loosen and fall off over time.

Really like the collars

Really like the collars. I have 4 cats. They are both inside and out. They always seem to get their collars snagged. Thankfully these are break away. My calico recently got hers caught on a limb. It broke away I'm assuming like it was supposed to. She wasn't injured at all. And I went outside with a flashlight. The reflective collar was glowing about 50 yards from my house caught on a limb. It didn't choke her/hang her "my worst fear" and a added bonus I found the collar because of its high reflection with literally 0 effort. Will purchase more to keep on hand for the future. Very satisfied with this product.

My murderous cat's plan foiled by these awesome collars!

Im not sure what I was expecting, but these collars are very nice, and better than expected! My cat had decided to start bringing live birds into our home. We would find poor birds, take them back outside only to find them dead on our back patio in the morning, it really looked like some weird murder scene. One time she brought in the dead bird and left it with our dogs toys. Maybe some sort of offering to the Gods... IDK! Honestly, I was worried that my cat was going to wipe our our towns bird population so I bought these as they were recommended by Prime. My cat HATES the bell and after many failed attempts to run away from said bell, I feel as if she has given up and I am pretty sure she is currently plotting my death! No dead birds in the last 96 hours... thats a record folks!!! In all reality, these collars are very nice quality, quick release so my cat wont hang herself, and of course the bell! Good buy!
