Quality made product giving OEM competition

I purchased this product because the Original equipment GoPro unit failed me and the nut that holds the screw in place that mounts the camera had fell off and lost. I decided to try a competitor mount of good quality. This is my second purchase of a competitor mount. By far this has great quality compared to the china knock off mounts. I am very happy this mount is sturdy so I don't loose my GoPro's. This past weekend I put the mount in action and place the suction mount on my classic car on the side of the vehicle and guess what, I did not loose my GoPro and it worked perfect.

I have watched suction cups fail on cars. So, when it came to purchasing one I wanted something well made with practical features. I got that with the SublimeWare Suction Cup. Unlike some of the other suction cups I have used, this one wants to stay attached to my car even after the vacuum is unlocked. I literally had to grab the tab on the cup itself and yank to get the unit to detach. Also, the parts connecting the GoPro mount to the suction cup base are sturdy, well designed, lock, well and do not shake/rattle--even when the car was moving at 70mph. I purchased a tether as well when I made that transaction, but I will probably never need it.

Perfect, Must have with a GoPro

This item is just as described. it is a must have for GoPro ownership. I have had it about two weeks and have used it in my truck and Jeep Wrangler. I went 4 wheeling with it on the inside windshield of my Jeep and It did not fall off over the bumpiest trails I could find. you need to insure the windshield of what ever smooth surface you are placing it on is clean. my jeep windshield was pretty dirty and had a light film on it so I had to clean it with some rubbing alcohol. the suction cup stuck on the windshield and I almost could not get it off when I got home. On my truck it stuck right on to the windshield, I could almost not get it off. There is a little tab on the suction cup, make sure this tab is in a location you can get to it when you are ready to remove the mount or you will have a hard time removing it from the location you stick it on. I will be buying another One or two. one for my motorcycle and one for my 4 wheeling Jeep to leave in place. I will use this one for my truck. I would highly recommend this product and it is half the price of the OEM GoPro suction mount.

GoPro Quality at less than half the price!

Got an email that this company is run by a laid off steel worker and a single mom so it made me really want to tell everyone how amazing this product is. I’d think about asking people to support this business but that’s not how capitalism works. HOWEVER, this company truly EARNS all 5/5 stars!! Their customer service is excellent, their product is absolutely amazing and being sold at an even better price! You’ll be getting GoPro quality at less than half the price. I’ve tried two other cheap mounts and even if they can hold on to the surface, they shake under the weight of the GoPro. This mount however, is rock solid and gives you great smooth footage! Trust me it’s worth every penny!

Perfect mount for my inflatable stand up paddleboard!

Since my paddleboard is inflatable and doesn't have a perfectly smooth surface, I used one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P54CGR5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My 85lb dog laid on the camera to jump off the paddleboard at one point and while she did manage to mess up the angle settings by squishing the whole setup, the whole thing didn't come unstuck and there was no permanent damage to the adjustment mechanism. I was able to reset the angle adjustments and keep on paddling. Since it was the first time using this, I had a safety line looped around the holder and attached to a D-ring on the board, just in case it came unstuck so I wouldn't lose the GoPro to the lake but I am 100% confident that there was no chance of that happening unless the 3M disks (linked above) failed. This is a wonderful product and shipping was speedy too!

This is a great mount

The package includes: Suction cup mount Short arm Long arm 90deg adapter Screws for all arms and attachments. Be had this for a few days now and have found this mount to be a keeper. The base is nice and wide so it will sit upright even if it is not affixed. Once it is affixed, it isn't moving. This suction cup provides a good deal of retention, to the point that I was afraid of damaging my window when I pulled on it. The cup itself is very supple and should provide easy installation on most smooth surfaces. The arms provide both compact and extended mounting options. To ensure they don't move the interfacing pieces have ridges to prevent any slipping even when not torqued down. Overall, this mount is a good option.

Highest quality - better then cheaper products

I purchased this product to replace a cheaper suction cup mount. I have an OEM Gopro suction cup mount that I use on my jetski so it's subject to jolts and saltwater. I'm pretty happy with it's performance, but at $50+ I was looking for a less expensive model. I tried the cheaper suction mounts, the ones that are smaller, and ended up loosing one of my cameras. This product is equal or maybe even a little better then the OEM version. The suction cup is high quality and the same size as the OEM mount. The hardware is stainless steel and the extensions are heavy duty pvc like the OEM version. I like that they include a forward and side facing joint knuckle for your camera, unlike the OEM mount which only provides one direction knuckle that limits camera angle adjustment. If you are going to be using this mount on a boat or jetski, get an equipment float and attach it to the mount. That way if the unexpected happens, you can just retrieve your bobbing camera/mount.

Great Service.... Great Product

Update: Below you will see my original review... Even tho it was after the return deadline, RWN sent a brand new product free of charge... This one does not have the flaw the other one came with, so we shall see how this one holds up. So far, I am super impressed by the holding power of the new over the old one... All I can say is great service!! /I have only had this for about two months and it doesn't stay put anymore, when looking closer, I realized that there was a big slice in the suction cup.... I had noticed the mark when I pulled it out of the box, but it didn't look like a cut, but now I am realizing that it was sliced almost completely through from the factory..... and it only now popped the whole way through at one spot..../

Excellent

I used it for the first time this weekend with my Activeon CX action camera. The mount fit perfectly, and was a tight fit to the exterior of my vehicle. Stayed on tight during the 4 hours of offroading adventure through all types of terrain and water crossings, honestly can't imagine the "official GoPro" mount is any better than this. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid mounting option at a lower price than GoPro's version.
